Once I've got the first T2 con out I like to make a Butler (as Arm). He gives build assist and he walks fast, so set him to guard the first T2 con that was upgrading mexes. He can walk fast enough to catch up and help make those upgrades faster. A fun trick is to hit "N" on the T2 con before he's finished - the Butler finishes off that one mex giving T2 con more time to walk to the next one. It's a technique to get over the really slow walk time of the T2 con. The T2 con + Butler pair is a powerful combo
A couple notes: On glitters its not such a big deal since you get 6 mexes but many other maps you won't get that as a techer, in which case a com-bomb is essential. You want atleast 1 con turret in your base to help your labs and to build the t2 mexes (might need 2 or 3), especially necessary if you blew up your comm. You'd want it in your case aswell as you saw your production was nonexistent from your lab when your comm was helping build the t2 mexes. Only reclaim the solars if you need the metal at that point, otherwise you can keep using the energy they produce. You'd often want to build some t2 units to help your team before you start building the fusions, but this is situationally dependent on how the match is going ofc. Having a few t2 units earlier than the enemy team can really help swing games though. Also having a few fast t2 units (idk about sprinters though, they kinda suck, but lighting tanks or fiends) can help save your team from runbys. Also if you're cortex bots you can give out twitchers which can make fiends - super helpful (although your team needs to know what to do with it) My 2 cents Nice video
I have checked. During all your demonstration, the metal storage has been of no use. Instead, I think you should have built an energy storage, this would have mitigated the issue you had with the lack of wind. You have been forced to add solar panel which cost metal besides having low energy for a while which puts you behind
I agree, this was a great low os guide as it helps keep it simple enough for anyone to start learning with. I think this guide refined some of the points you’ve made a little bit. Still using the m storage so maybe not needed there. How You Can Learn The 4 Min Transition As A Tech Position In BAR th-cam.com/video/g4rREOPevKs/w-d-xo.html
T2 Metal extractors are 4x income not double
True true I realized that a little after recording
