I am going for my Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. After years of trying to get into my undergrad, my grades werent high enough. I ended up becoming a diet tech and then switching to business degree. I am now eligible to apply for the masters of nutrition after taking 5 prerequisites. Its gonna be a journey that I look forward to.
Can’t wait to become a dietitian! I am a senior this year will be going to college very soon!!! This is very interesting and something to look forward in the future!!!❤️🙌🏻🙏🏻✝️
Oh it is a great time to become a Dietitians there are so many pathways opening up! Make sure to keep the NDTR credential in mind. It is a great plan B, or plan A depending on what you want to do in the field!
Thank you ladies for this information! I was in the middle of searching for this type info. I have a degree in engineering and want to change to becoming RD and was dreading doing so much schooling again. I think in my case I need to obtain a diploma re-evaluation first and then proceed per your suggestions. Thank you for so much useful info! All the best!
I wouldn’t recommend being a dietitian. It’s not the best career to go to. I feel that talking to patients is like talking to a wall. If I had to do it again I would probably go into a technology field such as IT, cybersecurity and so on.
So I’m in school to be a dietetic technician and will be done in Spring 2024. How would a program like this apply to someone with a just an associates degree and NDTR internship?
Great Question! This program would only be for people with a four year degree. So it really is only applicable for people who are using the NDTR credential as a stepping stone
She went to the university of New England. She let me know she is happy to answer any other questions for her you can reach her at brooke@thedietitianlab.com
Yep, to become a dietitian you would need a masters. Have you seen our podcast with Cox college. They require a certain amount of credit hours not necessarily a degree to join their internship and there might be other programs like that

I would like to know which specific university she went to
The one she is attending or the one she graduated from?
What was the name of the university she attended to obtain her masters degree.

So you can do this program with an associates degree?
You have to have a Bachelors. So this is an option for NDTRs with there BS degrees.
But don’t you only need an associates degree to be a NDTR?
