- Section of the Boring machine are being connected for tunneling. West shipping lot is getting real busy. The south end extention is coming together nicely. Another set of switches are closed now at the Megapack but still offline.

Incrível documentário grata conhecimento e vida nos liberta
EOL facility:
West:
@ 2:11 (Left) Possible power supply for the building? Two workers by a transformer or switchgear cabinet. Matches up with the location of conduits seen in Joe's video 12/22/223 at the 11 :21 timestamp, and Brad's video 11/2/2023 at the 5: 57 timestamp.
Thanks Brad, nice tour around the site.
Thanks Brad
Impressive number of Cybertrucks around the place.
0:34. Westside. Car carrier leaving site.
2:02. New EOL site, north. Small white conduit/pipe being buried deep under the stormwater drains.
Same white pipe being laid parallel with the blue water main on the far west boundary. ‘American Public Works Association (APWA) Uniform Color Codes for temporary marking of underground utilities’, doesn’t specify white for a particular utility. Locals got any ideas?
3:59. Westside, Tunnel Project. Boom-lift. TBM, behind the cutter head. Cutting off the lifting lugs on the shield.
6:01. New EOL Transport Yard. Small white bus being used to return the drivers.
6:46. BESS switchyard. All knife switches open. Megapacks not live.
7:22. BESS switchyard. To the right of the large transformer. Knife switches closed. This might be the first time these have been closed at the same time the disconnects to the left of the transformer have been closed. Busbars at least are live.
8:56. Westside, north end. Steel storage had a tidy up. Possibly shifted the stock south to 9:14.
10:14. Battery north. Loading platform. Bridge crane beams positioned as if they are to be hoisted to an upper level. Would be a first for bridge crane on an upper level.
11:00. Casting east, apron. 3 sizes of furnace hoods.
11:11. Casting east, apron. Pavement saw-cutting continues. Old destination charging raised plinth might be toast.
12:05. Southend, west. Third construction joint (double columns). Southend is 4 buildings from left to right. Main building is only 3. Another quirky design difference, along with the roof shape, and raised column pedestals.
12:15. Southend west. The unique Level 2 perimeter floor beams placed. No floor joists to be installed behind.
12:37. GA, highway side. Office trailers moved in. I wonder who for. Southend fit-out?
13:07. BIW. Under-roof plant room. Scaffold decks installed below.
13:13. BIW, apron. Bottom. “clean up on aisle 2”.
Something been spilt.
14:22. WOW yard. Top right. Extra heavy duty low-loader. We’ve missed something big.
14:57. Southend. Bottom. The puzzling CFA pile extension works.
15:28. Southend, east. Perimeter grade beam, and retaining wall works.
17:04. Die Shop, west. Scrapped away a layer of damp earth. Might see paving here soon.
17:40. Cathode, plant platform. Left. Insulation/lagging works.
I would add 1:08 new vehicles waiting in line blocking the road for other transport.
@@sonarsphere 1:08. Yes, separate production vehicle, and car carrier entrances. Which I guess is what they will get with the tunnel.
Early days.

@@DavidJohnson-tv2nn Joe has a good shot of this in his photos today. Electrical for sure.
When the superchargers at the West EOL are operational and the new parking- and loading areas area fully commissioned including permanent roads and car trailer parking then Tesla has achieved the equivalent of the old EOL situation East side but for a much larger production volume.
So what is the function of this new EOL building?
Could it be that the new boring tunnel will be a kind of extension of the production lines and that the new OEL building will house the final production checks that are now carried out inside the main building? It would free up a lot of ground floor area inside the main building when the inspection-tunnels with the lights and other activities were moved over to the EOL building??
Nice one Brad, thanks
14:20 They erased the lines on the former outbound lot.
Merci👍👍👍
Thank you!
👍
Brad, your videos (and those of Joe), are a good part of the reason I remain invested in Tesla. Elon would’nt be building all this capacity without a “plan”. Don’t bet against Elon. One doesn’t build a huge parking garage without a plan for what is now graded employee parking areas.
looks like they definatly need asecond entrance for the new out bound lot. maybe 3
I am surprise that they haven't paved the road on the north side yet.
@@BTSloan70 Still a couple of power poles to contend with in the middle of the alignment. It is frustrating though how long it is taking.
@@BTSloan70 Still one utility on the poles that need to be removed. Cable TV co-ax maybe.
Thanks Brad. To me it looks like there is a lot of tidying up and finishing off going on all around the site. Certainly looks like production has ramped up this week of both MY and CT.
Yep.... tidy.
Yes, it's like they have finally come to a point where some resources can be allocated to works not directly construction focused.
@@DessieDoolan You mean to tell me they don't have a dedicated clean up crew following everyone around? ;)
@@sammyk874 lol
@@sammyk874 The problem is they have been too focused on taking advice from the comments under these videos, and that had them running around needlessly putting out tiny spot fires instead of working in a more orderly fashion.
Yeah, that's it.
Are the Mega-packs connected to the grid now?
No, there are still a set of switches that are still open.
@@BTSloan70 Thank you.
Not yet. Switches are closed on the transformer secondary and above the 24.9 kV circuit breakers. But open above the 8 conduits going to the Megapacks.
@@DavidJohnson-tv2nn Thank you.
BESS substation:
@ 7:16 24.9 kV switches closed on transformer secondary.
@ 6:59 (towards the right, above the circuit breakers) Switches closed.
(Further right, above the 8 conduits going to the Megapacks) Switches open! Also seen @ 6:44.
Megapacks still NOT operational.
@ 7:16 (Right) Another view of the closed switches above the circuit breakers.
(Top) Switches also closed above the 2 circuit breakers for the backup power feeds.
It's pretty impressive output for a company that many have said will fail.
@@jbbuzzableironically some folks who love to provide detailed comments on the construction progress would love to regulate Elon into failure. Partly because he’s a successful entrepreneur but also because he rips up concrete and lacks ability to plan.
@@jbbuzzable What do you think about reports that Tesla's $80,000 stainless steel Cyber trucks are developing rust. 😊 If correct, I'm sure that will be great for business. 😊
@@RanchReed I agree, it is Ironic. I'm a fan of construction and the bigger the better! Just not a fan of greedy billionaires. Especially the ones that are able to dupe and BS millions of people into following them.
