That mental breakdown was crazy I felt that
I'm glad that you gave this story and Rudy another chance. That's actually (partially) what this story is about. You won't regret it. This story will get REALLY good.
what happened?
@@cheezusfries3.010 you'll see very soon
@@cheezusfries3.010 lotta people get a lot of stigma just mentioning you enjoy the show so they probably weren't gonna react past "those episodes"
@cheezusfries3.010 They stopped reacting to it for about a year after what Rudy did in ep8, I believe it was.
1:10 Roxy met up with Paul offscreen, after they learned where zenith is, Elinalize came looking for Rudeus to inform him about the situation, Roxy and Talahand the dwarf guy went to inform paul
Yeah, unfortunately season 1 didn't cover the fact that Badigadi was there when Roxy has Kishirika tell her where Rudeus and his family are. And it also doesn't mention that Elinalise takes a ship over directly to the northern territories on the central continent with Badigadi because he has connections with a demon king that's on friendly terms with the seafolk so they can get safe passage across the Ringus Sea.
As good as season 1 was, it's still very much as guilty of skipping important stuff as season 2 has been. Don't even get me started on the omission of Rudeus' aunt.
@@uihirasawa843 I was once frustrated at the skipped content like you, but then I realised, had they actually adapted the entire thing, rn in season 2 we would still be at the journey back home after the teleportation, it sucks, but we just gotta let it go, adapting a LN novel is very difficult, people were already saying cour 1 was boring, and we know how much content they skipped, now imagine if they included everything, it's regretful but I would be satisfied as long they get the main events right, and the main themes and vibes correctly, that's all.
The growth of Rudeus as a character throughout the show is insane!
This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions 10/10
All of these characters that Rudy developed relationships of part 1 of this season play super important roles throughout the entirety of the series. Nanahoshi, Cliff, Zanoba, Ariel, Badigadi, the animal sisters, etc.
All of their friendships with Rudy, and among themselves since Rudy was the link that basically made them all befriend one another (even though they’d been there for years prior) play huge roles in insane story arcs going forward. Don’t forget, almost all of them of royalty/nobility in some way in their home kingdoms and with being royalty usually comes conflict. Shit Badi is literally a Demon King. And old Rudy probably wouldn’t have cared but we’ve seen him become someone who cares for his friends, and he even mentioned last episode that if Ariel did go to war back home, he’d likely end up joining and helping her for how she helped him with Sylphie.
A lot of ppl hated last cour because after the first 4-5 episodes we basically stayed at school the whole time and it felt “slice of lifey” but im telling you, each connection he’s made at the school leads to insane shit happening for the next 3 seasons of this show.
The ending song is a cover of a Japanese hit from the early 2000s, that of course she would know because she was 17 when she got teleported. Her voice actor sung the song because she sang it karaoke in the novel (japanese ppl love karaoke), but no one understood it besides Rudy obviously cause it’s in Japanese.
Really dope that they decided to do that instead of just showing her with the spoon and thats it
In the novel she sang a number of songs, but Gandhara was noted by name. Funny enough, the VA has sung that in another anime.
In the LN when she pounding her fists on the wall and breaking shit she was getting cut up and injured. She was going to use the knife to end it all.
That wasn't alluded to, but she did have a Swiss army knife, which Rudeus secured after patting her down.
Ruijerd... voiced by Hisoka and Choso (JJK), what a goat.
Nanahoshi's breakdown was painful to watch because it's so realistic. Not everyone wants to be isekai to a brand new world and even the ones who don't wanna seem to give it up and accept their new environment because that has to further the plot, but in reality they've turned into a prisoner of this different world with no way of getting home. Losing the family and friends they knew, the life they made for themselves. Anyone who's had a decent life would breakdown like Nanahoshi if put in her shoes
Not only that but she also has no mana in a world that revolves around it. She is as outsider as it gets. At least Rudy is top tier in that world and gets to have a better life. For Nanahoshi it’s just a straight up downgrade.
she need to wore item so mana build up on her body prevented.2 years of hard work with no help .failure and more failure dang bro that brokedown too real
That ending song was done by Nanahoshi's VA, hence the spoon microphone scene. Also this episode made me cry my ass off with Rudeus being aware of and empathetic of other's experiences. I feel like all of S2 I just keep contrasting his overall development. This anime has to stay a "slice of life" at this point, please.
It will always have “slice of life” elements since we are following Rudy throughout his life, but it’s the second half of this cour is turning to action for action, and the rest of the story will have a ton of action in it throughout for the next few seasons. Although don’t get it twisted, there will be plenty of just following rudy and his family/friends too
@@invisibleghost7415 yeah as much as i really love the action in this story i think its the slice of life that really sold me on the light novels.
Slice of life is what Rudeus would like his story to be.
The world disagrees.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Rudeus has reached a point where he can be more empathetic of others.
Nanahoshi was singing Japanese song with Japanese in isekai
This series is less about "redemption" for Rudeus and more about him "maturing", he's definitely grown a lot since S1. If he was his early Season 1 self, I doubt he'd have shown as much concern for Nanahoshi as he did in this episode.
Just be aware that the books are very dense so quite a lot is cut, so if something doesn’t make sense such as when you were confused with how they had already met up, it’s cause it’s likely to be cut unless Ruijerd explains later. Also, Nanahoshi’s depressive episode and finding a fix for her problem was over a month or so, despite it feeling like it only took a few days in the anime.
StruckByBelz, maybe this is just a tad bit nitpicky, but would your editor be able to raise the anime screen just a tad next time?
I have an iPhone, and when on the full screen for the iPhone, there’s a little white line that covers up the subtitles. Just giving my two cents worth. Keep up the great reactions!
Many watch while working as a time passer so I get ya. This is why I like dubs. Lol
I wish I had a wall like they do in the back it looks pretty stacked
Its always a great day when yall upload haha 💯
Next episode Ruijerd gonna ask what happend with Eris.
Things are way too happy rn. I been so scared every episode 🤣
Such a wholesome episode

At this point, Roxy was 49 years old.
Watch the show Go Go Loser Ranger‼️
My favorite version of Rudy is actually after the final episode of this season. The day Rudy becomes a real man.
Now you guys better be regretting for dropping mushoku in the start😂😂
Nah, it was probably better to binge from where they left off. lol
This is one of the aspect you don't get to see in many isekais where the character wants to go back to their original world. In most isekai excuse is that the mc was having a shitty life.
I don’t watch isekai much. I always wondered if they skip that part on purpose like is it a writing flaw fans just ignore. Is it a power fantasy genre? I guess we ignore star crossed lovers in romance bumping into each other so often too. Just a thing I guess. Shonen anti fans gotta learn to ignore some tropes too lol. Already see people calling kaiju 8 overrated and mid lol
idk if it sink in to you guys yet. idk why I expected a bigger reaction when the water bottle came thru, they basically figured something out to summon a random object from the world rudeus and nanahoshi is from....
Nanahoshi sings this ED
What about watching magi??
I dont think your looking into it too deep. Im mean this is a serious and deep. Now if it was some funny goofy show then maybe not.
🔥🔥
Don't forget that Nanahoshi unlike Rudy, she completely has no power when she got into the world. She manage to stay alive purely by her skills alone and luck. I think she mentioned last time about it as well regarding she has no mana unlike Rudy, simply because she got transported instead rebirth.
ayy first!
Please react and watch X-Men 97 please
Yeah, Rudy is kind of unlikeable in the beginning because of his immaturity. While he still exhibits that, he's clearly grown as a character. I've been reading the LN and his character growth only gets better.
