At the same time, with a colossal sound like ‘daan’, something falls right beside me. Something, I immediately fall to my knees. At the place where I am, Between Paul and I, “U, uoooh!” There are eyes in front of me. The eyes of something at its wits’ end, The eyes of a cornered beast, The eyes that try to find a way to survive until the very last second. The eyes of the Hydra. From around the area of the forehead, something like a horn appears. “OOOOOOOOOooo!” On reflex, I immediately thrust my left hand into the eye. Together with a ‘guchari’ sound, a burning sensation transmits up my arm. The Hydra’s eyelids closes. The eyelids, wrapped in scales, closes shut, like a guillotine. Simultaneously, I fired off a [Rock Cannonball]. As the Hydra’s eyelids shut, the Hydra’s head burst apart. At the same time, I feel it jerk upwards. After the jerk, I hear a ‘pop-crack’ sound resound in my head. “R, Roxyyyyy!!”

that's like reality hitting you. you won't have time things will happen and wont wait for you. that's what Paul's death means and this is turning point 3 for a reason.
Rudeus was having hard times tracing Paul's movements he explain sometimes Pauls was blurring due to his speed. The Hydra was an intelligent being and understood the weakest link but the most dangerous was Rudeus. Fighting the last head the hydra was scared and shaking like crazy, the monster was trying to survive too. One of the things anime didn't show is the thought process behind the first attack from Rudeus earth canon he applied the same strength as he did against Badi he was thinking in one shooting the Hydra but the way the monster can absorb mana is just godlike. In the anime they portrait Rudeus like he was letting his guard down but the thing is the fight was at super fast pace and Rudeus couldn't keep up with everything that was happening. Another thing they explain is the breath of only 1 head can completely evaporate a river so Rudeus tanking alone 3 heads is a testament of his power

Can't blame Rudy for him being the reason Paul gets hit by the Hydra even if he SEES the Hydra's attack, he is NOT as reactive as Paul is. And that Hydra focused on Rudy, so Paul dies anyway. people always quick to blame Rudy for everything. Did anyone overlook the first half of the fight where Paul went kamikaze? and recalling previous cour, Rudy named his arms Hulk (right) and Hercules (left) when he was exercising and used the Greek Mythology tactic of Hercules to defeat the Hydra, but he lost his left arm (Hercules) anyway, the timing (be it coincidental or intentional) is immaculate for this episode to air on Father's Day (also lost Grandma and Grandpa on Grandpa and Grandma Turned Young Again on the final episode) To the fathers who protects and provides for their family, even at the cost of their own lives, cheers to you. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
Paul is a swordsman and has his physique built upon years of experience, and he's probably also instinctively circulating mana akin to using Walmart touki. If anything, props to rudeus for doing his job properly and keeping up with Paul.
I think its more the fact that Rudy as doing near-perfectly fine for the first 80% of the fight, but suddenly froze up at the most critical moment. The reason Paul's reckless rush got overlooked, is because he was able to handle his own despite that recklessness. Of course it wouldn't have lasted forever, but if anyone else had rushed that hydra like that, they'd have been slaughtered.
@@DaGamingDuelist someone says that rudy didn’t froze, but more specifically, he couldn’t keep up with the speed. Plus, the hydra went for him because the original attack rudy made was apparently as strong as the one he used against the 4 armed guy. So being an intelligent creature, the hydra went for the strongest but not as experienced one. The hydra was desperate to survive. The anime just didn’t translate it well because apparently there was too many internal dialogue and wouldn’t work as smoothly in anime.
If you want to know more on how traumatic that event is for Rudy. I think I remember in LN Elinalise told Rudy to crematic Paul's body because if he dont do that, Paul is gonna be an undead so he did that. But that's still not enough Rudy still need to destroy even his bone.
People are quick to blame rudeus for getting distracted when 1, he was locked in for the entire fight, and 2, he's not a close range fighter. Throughout season 1 he had ruijerd and Eris protecting him, such as when they fought the anaconda in that forest, it went for him and ruijerd saved him. In the hydra fight elinalise, Paul, and talhand are all covering rudeus the entire time Even with the demon eye it doesn't matter if he can see the attack if he can't move fast enough to react, and rudeus was never shown to be extremely quick
He is a mage and has a habit of hesitation when someone approaches him fast and swiftly, as early as when Rudy received swordmanship training from Ghislaine, he never managed to overcome this weakness.
Paul is actually an S- rank adventurer. He was bestowed a class of North- God sword with 3 styles on advanced swordsmanship. Basically 1 rank higher than Roxy which is classed as Saint on water style. Among all adventurers on this cohort he is the highest. So I am actually amused the people were shocked at how good he fights.
Paul wasn't the best father or husband or leader but what made him great was that he knew all of this. Of course it took a long time to make himself aware of this but he finally admitted his faults. He didn't want his son Rudy to make the same mistakes he did. That's why his last line hurts so much because of his past. He fell out with his own family and was making the same mistakes again with his new one. He didn't want to see his son follow that path. That's what made me redeem his character. His death also showed this where he just as any parent would, protected his child first before his own life. Him smiling 100% meant that he was proud of to see that Rudy lived and he died in his place. He got to see all his family members again for the last time since the teleportation incident and he knew Rudy would grow into a fine man, husband and father. Man I'll really Paul.
Well there's a reason why this is called the father of isekai. Because since way back where this is only getting popular in the light novels some of the isekai shows that we have so far are getting their inspiration from this.
@@dontmindme3103i hate how people said this is father of isekai even though there's good isekai even before this created like mondaiji tachi & zero tsukaima.
Yeah this episode was so fucked. Lost his hand, lost his father, lost his mother. The only thing he got out of this was saving Roxy. That final face Rudy makes at the end of the episode will forever haunt me. The only thing that would have saved Rudeus's hand and Paul's life would probably be Rudeus learning how to heal without incantations. Being able to directly manipulate the mana allows you to create more powerful and varied effects than an incantation ever could. I say this because outside of just being a more skilled fighter, this was the only area he was really lacking. And saying they should have brought more people is just hindsight 20/20. He can't be blamed for that.
you can really tell the difference in maturity of the various reactors in how each part was viewed, it's sort of a perfect barometer for who will do great content and who will do loud content.
I think just a quick scene of 2 seconds with Rudy's eye of foresight bugging like crazy would had left why he just stopped clearer to the audience, still a good scene despite that and the episode was 🔥
Rudeus tried even harder than he could try. But even so, he lost his hand first and then saw his father’s death with his own eyes and personally burned him. And then, when he wanted to see his mother wake up and speak, instead he was met with even greater despair. He just wanted to see that Paul's death was not in vain, but instead he saw even more despair.
Paul lost his mother because he's family members are either a douche or straight up uncaring, but most importantly for him is that he's powerless. Paul doesn't want Rudy to have that regret
This was Rudeus's first experience in a dungeon and right away it was a dungeon S Level. Bro, you can't blame him for his little mistakes. I don't think Rudeus is to blame for Paul death.
14:12 wouldn’t the steam literally skin them alive here??? I know its anime logic but just listen that steam sizzling it has to be way hotter than 150 degrees
Just telling you what other regrets could happen will open a floodgate of spoilers, probably revealed in next season so I will leave you with two things to brainstorm. 1) The Human God says what is in his best benefit, not Rudy's. He may give Rudy more carrot than stick, but he is scheming 3-4 steps ahead. 2) He popped up the night after Rudy received Geese's emergency letter. Consider any other times he conveniently showed himself.

(also lost Grandma and Grandpa on Grandpa and Grandma Turned Young Again on the final episode)
To the fathers who protects and provides for their family, even at the cost of their own lives, cheers to you.
Men-god told him that he is going to suffer if he go there... that is exactly what happened.
@@thechosenone729wouldn't it be worse if he got with linia and pursena and his father and roxy die and his mom never saved
cant believe this is not nominated for best drama
I still can't get over this episode.
If you want to know more on how traumatic that event is for Rudy. I think I remember in LN Elinalise told Rudy to crematic Paul's body because if he dont do that, Paul is gonna be an undead so he did that. But that's still not enough Rudy still need to destroy even his bone.
God damn, I rewatched it like 15 times already and want more. Plz help
They're lucky that the hydra they fought don't grow 1 additional head when decapitated. But still troublesome to have a head grow back😤🔥

"Here lies a flawed teammate, a terrible husband, but the greatest father. We mourn his passing."
Hi to all the overseas viewers of this anime, I am Japanese❤
We felt even more cruel because this anime episode aired on Father's Day in Japan😢😢😢
it was too sad 😢
Been waiting for this one
The anime aired on Father's Day in Japan. I want to spend every day of my life thanking my father.
In the hydra fight elinalise, Paul, and talhand are all covering rudeus the entire time
Even with the demon eye it doesn't matter if he can see the attack if he can't move fast enough to react, and rudeus was never shown to be extremely quick
Lower left bro was so ready for the amnesia trope. Bro got his ankles broken
Any other isekai MC getting their arm off: 😐
Rudeus getting his arm off: 😱
Well there's a reason why this is called the father of isekai. Because since way back where this is only getting popular in the light novels some of the isekai shows that we have so far are getting their inspiration from this.
I can't really remember much isekai MCs losing their hand besides Rimuru who doesn't feel pain.
@@dontmindme3103holy glaze bro 🍩
lol other isekai mc would got their hand fully healed back after 5 seconds losing it, but not for rudeus 😂 Thats why its different
I like how everyone is surprised even though paul's death was spoiled in the intro for this season.
remind me to never watch the intros ever again
I knew it was coming but damn it still hit. They wrong for releasing it on Fathers Day 😭
Airing this episode on Father's Day is brutal asf.
Paul didn't had to die like this good thing im alone where i can cry some tears
Man god was right, Rudy will regret going to Begaritt continent.
Thank You Bro
A fucking dagger in the heart, not even erens death is being with me like this, plus adding the fact that Zenith doesn't remember shit. goddamn.
you can really tell the difference in maturity of the various reactors in how each part was viewed, it's sort of a perfect barometer for who will do great content and who will do loud content.
I think just a quick scene of 2 seconds with Rudy's eye of foresight bugging like crazy would had left why he just stopped clearer to the audience, still a good scene despite that and the episode was 🔥
The much worst thing is the episode was released on father's day
Paul Satoru
パウロ...最後までかっこよかったよ...
Never forget they air this on fathers day
It hit so much harder when there ks no screaming characters drowning in tears crying. Just sad music and the silence of it all. As the credits roll.
Bruh, ive been waiting for Yaboyroshi to post their reaction to this episode since it came out
i didn't know you got early access 😆😆
Me too, I think they stream it somewhere. Maybe youtube video will coming in few more hours
The person making these videos subbed to their patreon.
He was a great legend my favourite character from mushoku tensei i am really depressed till now😭😭😭🥺
And they air this EP on International Father's Day.....
I cried at Paul death in LN even though I haven't like him before that's how good the writing is😭
on father day is crazy
the title should be turning point 3 "parents" so people would know how terrifying turning point in this world is.
Lettssssss gooooooo
パウロの死はショッキングすぎたけどルディをあまり責めないでやってくれ、、、
"Rudy" was Paul's last word. 💔
Damn i knew he would die but i didn't know he would get the gojo/mui treatment
everyone faces at 21:55, the pure horror in the eyes XDDDDDD
rip paul
Paul lost his mother because he's family members are either a douche or straight up uncaring, but most importantly for him is that he's powerless. Paul doesn't want Rudy to have that regret
I knew he was gonna die but I did not realize he would get chomped in half so honestly seeing that was a bit Jarring
ts is the most underrated anime ffr
The only episode in playlist with name. Now that's something
Literally gave his mom the berserk special bra took two Majors Ls …Damn
Hitogami was right if rudeues hadn't gone there then Paul may have survived.....😢
If he didn't go then they will never find his mother and Roxy would've died too
Paul the goat..🐐
14:32 it is subtle but I am shocked someone managed to see it heeehehe spoilersssss
This was Rudeus's first experience in a dungeon and right away it was a dungeon S Level. Bro, you can't blame him for his little mistakes. I don't think Rudeus is to blame for Paul death.
Happy Father's day
hahaha😂😂😂😂😂
21:22の右上ニキのグータッチが笑
Die as a good father and hero, Paul Greyrat😢
Anime episode of the year so far imo 🤷. Can't wait to see people's reactions to the final episodes of this season 😬😅
lol people gonna be raging on the next episode 💀
Its going to be interesting to see how many people drop the show after next episode
Nice vid man, and what's the outro song?
Where did the Yaboyroshi reaction come from? Its not on their main channel
Patreon, since it isn't edited.
If I hadn't watch attack on titan death scenes Paul dying will definitely haunt me.
maaan attack on titan came in and ruined whatever was left of our childhood after lion king and the land before time xD

(un)Happy Father's Day everyone...
14:12 wouldn’t the steam literally skin them alive here??? I know its anime logic but just listen that steam sizzling it has to be way hotter than 150 degrees
They can jump 20 feet in the air, it safe to say it's not big of a deal for them.
I hope that the VA for PAull becomes Rudiuos VA.. SO He has the same look and Voice also like father like son..
RIP the goat ❤
Bro, what if Rudeus listen to human god. What would happen?
Just telling you what other regrets could happen will open a floodgate of spoilers, probably revealed in next season so I will leave you with two things to brainstorm.
1) The Human God says what is in his best benefit, not Rudy's. He may give Rudy more carrot than stick, but he is scheming 3-4 steps ahead.
2) He popped up the night after Rudy received Geese's emergency letter. Consider any other times he conveniently showed himself.
Vídeo 10/10 ❤
