@@AlienFoodage Ah man I just love watching your videos, they capture a certain kind of innocence that's been lost for so many people with guides and the analytical minds that have been applied to optimising this game. You've captured the soul of how it felt to play as a kid.
I use mobile data for EVERYTHING because it's unlimited for €20 per month here. I even download/update/play online games and download/watch movies from it. Never any issues 😊
Having a long, hard day and finally sitting down late at night to relax and seeing a 42 min video from you is truly one of the best feelings. I know i'm in for nearly an hour of chill, nostalgic entertainment, free of all the worlds bullshit and get to just immerse myself along with you in my childhood fantasy world. Man, these types of comments really fill me with so much joy. It’s sometimes difficult for me to grasp how my videos can make someone feel when i’m in the process of creating them, but comments like this allow me to get a glimpse of that. Thanks so much for sharing.
Your audio quality is miles beyond other OSRS tubers, nothing turns me off from a series more than a quiet mic with a bunch of background noise. I haven't seen many people comment on this, but big kudos to you for paying attention to it!
Audio quality def helps the enjoyment. Plenty a time I've just closed videos because of jarring audio but the tolerance threshold is different for everyone.
i get an unusual amount of joy whenever you figure something out and say “get in!!!” I just love it so much, just caught up on the series after having seen the first few months ago. keep it up man, loving this series
Time for another useless OSRS fact: while panning at the Digsite you will occasionally get Gold nuggets. You can trade in 3 of those nuggets for a Gold Ore from Terry. Even when the content was released, this was a terrible rate and probably the worst way anyone could try to obtain Gold Ore (in fact, you're probably better off searching the Viyeldi barrels because at least the Gold there is noted...).
You're right, but now my headcanon is that the guy was freaked out but he was such a consummate researcher that he couldn't let his bomb making notes go to waste.
Omg, this quest and especially seeing it unguided takes me back to being a kid on RS2, and getting members for the first time and immediately going in here to start this quest and it drove me insane as I didn’t realise quest guides existed and could not figure it out lmao
I'm so happy you are gonna do all the mahjarrat quests in order for the full emersion, even if theyre not all requirements! I love that storyline but dont remember it well, excited to see it play out with you.
This quest in rs3 is extremely stupid now The digsite has become the guild for the Archeology skill So you're running between actual Archeology content to do this fake archeology quest that gives Mining xp
I've already completed Desert Treasure, but I haven't done Enakhra's Lament or Defender of Varrock yet 😂 I completed Sins of the Father before even attempting Shades of Mort'ton. I have 26 quests left to do, and some of them may be easier than others I've already done. I haven't done Desert Treasure 2 yet though. Not looking forward to that.
2:44 You saw straight through the trick answers and blurted out the actual answer, looks like being unguided trained you to pay more attention to dialogue than was ever expected of the player.
You know, I never noticed that urn on the hill before - and this is one of the majority of quests that I did without a guide first time round, many, many years ago now. Found the teddy purely by searching everything with a search option until it showed up. The bit towards the end though is just a matter of remembering that Terry says to take everything you find back to him :p
It might be really jarring going across big time jumps in terms of quest creation. I love all OSRS quests but new quests are VERY different from old ones in terms of intuitive progression
a passing mention of completing this in any other series honestly lol, i love it!! from the perspective of someone who loves RS but was too young to complete even Imp Catcher when i originally played and too lazy to actually quest when i got into it as an adult makes all of this such a treat. whenever i get around to digsite i hope i either remember all of this and save myself the runaround or that ive completely forgot and have the same experience cus both would make me happy. great series as always dude :)
I have a tip for you that isnt actually about to runescape so definitely not guiding! The default Snipping Tool on windows is actually perfect for when you need to remember a chat dialogue box! I have a quest cape but watching your videos makes me actually know what is happening in the lore and game. lol didn’t realize how much using the guides makes you skip
my guess with the sack where you found something: it was found out semi recently that certain crates/drawers will have a like 1/1000 chance to award an uncut topaz. my guess is that it would either be the same or something else. but i don't know for sure.
