Ben Duerr (the vocalist) is consider one of the best of the whole genre, he is definitely top tier.
No one on earth can argue with that statement.

Fun fact, they were inspired from the video game franchise Halo and named after the CAS class Assault Carrier "Shadow of Intent"
Actually, only their first two albums are Halo themed and have lyrics about Halo.

One of the best songs I've heard in my life..please read the lyrics..they are really meaningful and are related to the current war happening in Ukraine.
Ben Duerr is the singer and he composes the lyrics.. he loves world history and then he wrote this whole masterpiece and dedicated it to Ukraine. The amazing thing about this is that they actually predict the war based on all the previous events happening in Ukraine and Russia.
Of you get more interested in this please check out the vocal analysis by Mark of Kardavox Academy.. he's a metal vocal coach and he together with Ben listened to the song and picked it and analyse it and talked about how Ben does the singing and growling. Also Ben tells about the history and the meaning of this song.

Shadow of Intent is an everyday slammer. Ben Duerr has amazing range, the drummer is fantastic, and the guitar solos leave you in a trans. One of my favorite melodic deathcore bands🤘
Shadow of Intent are one of the best bands in the genre. They were originally based of Halo and had songs based on some things from it. Melancholy kinda branched out into their own thing. Definitely recommend something off that album or the song the Heretic Prevails
Reclaimer is an S tier album anything off that one is awesome

Oh god get ready strap in it's a super beautiful deathcore song great ending to the album called elegy which is a poetic eulogy
Side note this album is a eulogy for those in the Russia Ukraine conflict

Now if only Lorna Shore used more symphonic elements like this. Ben is absolutely one of the best deathcore vocalists atm but this song doesn't really show off his insane range.

Highs for will , lows for ben . But i think no one rivals the breath control of will ,mf has a gas tank as his lungs
Imo Ben Duerr is more impressive than will.. and Will is an amazing vocalist..just what they do in LS is not what gets me. Sae them live at Bloodstock and yeah.. they are ok..but I didn't enjoyed their performance nor sound while live
