SO apparently Shadow of Intent just released a new single yesterday (March 29th 2023), what do y'all think of it? I'm finally getting my furniture delivery from Ikea today (which includes the rest of my studio, desk and a chair), so I'll plan to film a video on their new single next week. But let me know your thoughts, and YES - I will be coming back to this album. Kepsuda I'm looking at you ;) Love you!
Good video, my favorite songs of Melancholy are: Malediction, Melancholy y underneath a sullen moon, my favorite álbum is reclaimer, the songs of reclaimer are incredible, highly recommended that songs and albums.
I discovered this band a couple of years ago, I was browsing iTunes as I often do, checking for new bands that struck my fancy. Listened to a few of the demo clips, decide to give them a shot. They're now one of my favourite deathcore bands, and they cemented my adoration of orchestral metal. Ben's vocals just feel so cathartic to listen to.
This whole album is excellent! My album of the year in 2019. Bought it on vinyl and CD, and got the t-shirt. The instrumental track "The Dreaded Mystic Abyss" is a MUST!! It's long but absolutely worth your time. 🤘
Hell yeah the entire album is insane. Under a sullen moon, Gravesinger, and embracing nocturnal damnation are my personal favorites. I'm glad to see this album getting the attention I recently found it about a month ago and i've been stuck on it ever since.
Love this album, the instrumental The Dreaded Mystic Abyss is fantastic! A few deathcore albums to check out: Hate by Thy Art Is Murder, Nocturnal by The Black Dahlia Murder, and if you dug the more technical side of this band, you should listen to Archspire.
I saw them live this Jan. I saw a less known SoI song - The Prophet's Beckoning. It's my rec to you. It's from the 2nd album and it's the most balanced song on the record IMO. If you want a counterpoint to the more extreme songs on reclaimer like the catacombs, then that's the song for you.
Shadow of intent are in my top 5 bands. And I'm not even a deathcore fan. That being said they moved towards a traditional symphonic death metal in their last couple of albums
Seeing them with Lorna Shore and Brand of Sacrifice in New Orleans on the 7th!!! I absolutely love Shadow of Intent and Melancholy is my favorite album
I know this is random lmao but you should check out the band “Brouillard”. It’s a one woman black metal project and she’s in I think at least 5 or 6 other bands, including one called Vertige, I just think her musics great and have been recommending it to people lol, if I did, sorry to waste your time!
@@danzgaspar He really did, I think he's their live drummer but I might be mistaken. That's why they got Bryce but i'm not complaining about it, I love bryce and his constant smile :D
Can you react to Mental Cruelty-symphony of a dying star. I feel like this band bridges the gap between lorna and shadow and its a new drop! Also this whole album is non stop bangers
Great reaction! I say check out "Angelmaker- Self-Titled Album". The song "requiem" is an emotional metal piece. Great riffs in "Radiance in the light of a dying sun" and "Tempest". I'd say both of these albums are siblings with the sound.
This song was awesome. As a suggestion, one of the most underrated deathcore songs in my opinion is "the beautiful mistake" by as blood runs black. Kinda groovy at the same time.
Shadow of Intent are one of the best bands in the scene. Their music is enthralling and atmospheric, and Ben's vocals are fucking gnarly 😈
One of the best bands in the industry right now. Ben is a beast

It is a must to do a reaction to, imo. It is a perfect mix of their older stuff and newest album.

Haven't seen the video yet, but just wanna say that the first thing I saw was The Stand by Stephen King. It's the same Hardcover I have.
Came across your channel a few days ago. I'm surprised you haven't reacted to Necrophagist yet at the rates that you're going, lol.
They're on my list! Lol
Maleciction is my personal favorite from this super album.
Check out Chelsea grin-clockwork
Did you react to “to the hellfire” by Lorna shore ?
