Physical Sciences කියන්නේ එක විෂයක් නෙමෙයි. ඒක ඇතුලේ specialize කරන්න පුළුවන් fields බර ගානක් තියෙනවා. (University එක අනුව specializations වෙනස් වෙනවා මොකද සමහර degree තියෙන්නේ සමහර university වල විතරයි.) එයාව select උන university එකේ තියෙන subjects සහ marine and freshwater science degree එක compare කරලා බලලා එයා කැමැති field එකක් decide කරන්න කියන්න. 😊

ඒක කරහම job නෑ කියන්නේ ඒක කරපු අයද? Physical science/bio science වලටත් ඔය ටිකමනේ කියන්නේ. Teaching තමයි blah blah. හැබැයි teaching ගිය දෙන්නයි මම අඳුරන්නේ . එක්කෙනෙක් personal reason එකක් නිසා, අනික් එක්කෙනා උගන්නන්න ආස නිසා. මේ video එක කරේ ඒක කරලා දැනට Germany ඉන්න කෙනෙක් එක්ක. නංගි ඔයා මේක කරලා graduate උන අය එක්ක discuss කරන්න. එහෙම නැත්තං directly professor කෙනෙක් consult කරන්න. ගමේ ගොඩේ ඇන්ටිලා නිසා ඔයාට ආපු chance එක අත අරින්න එපා.

About the labs and the exams I think it's best to ask demonstrators because it depends on the university, subject and the professor. About the suggestions, I highly recommend UC Irvine TH-cam channel.

I'm afraid I can't make decisions for you Malli. Choose something that you are passionate about.
As a biological science student I would like to give you an advice. If you like a specific course or if you have a special interest of a specific career path. You need to prioritize that course. If you don't have it's advisable for you to choose a 4 years degree than biological science degree. Only a handful of students get the privilege to specialise in one subject. There is a huge competition for it. Pharmacy and agriculture management are better options for you in my opinion. Food science degrees are also valuable. But do your research. Make your decision wisely. Anyway good luck. May your all dreams come true.

Both of them are better than bio science because you can obtain a four year degree for sure. Agri management refers to agriculture field and crop management and things like that. If u are interested in agriculture it's better. In my opinion food science is better. Because there are so many fiod manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka so there are a lot of opportunities. But remember all these depend on your preferences. Think wisely what you want to do as a career whether you want to migrate and do your higher education. It always depends on your ideas and preferences.
My z score is 1.5944... I can go to Peradeniya science faculty .but I don't have enough money to study abroad... Z is enough to get selected for pharmacy degree also.. Can the pharmacy degree be better than the biological science degree to me..

Great video , Just out of curiosity why is the Z score is low for this degree?
Z score cutoff depends on the z score of the students who apply. Since everyone is applying for engineering and medicine the cutoffs are high for those two. Z cutoffs do not imply if a degree is good or not. It's simply about how popular it is among the students who apply for that program. 😊 There are many valuable degrees out there which people don't bother to apply to. It's the sad reality.

I'm currently doing nursing in International institute of health sciences. And this is a pathway program like we have to complete our diploma here in Sri Lanka and migrate to do the Degree. Just now only i found out that I'm selected to the fisheries and marine science in UOR. I'm really interested in marine science. But will it worth my time if I do marine science? please reply!!!
In my opinion STEM degrees are like a passport of a developed nation. They can take you to literally anywhere. I don't know anything about the possibility of migrating with diplomas. I also don't make life decisions on behalf of others. But do your research well and make a well infomed decision. Just don't register with the university if you don't plan on doing the degree because you will be taking another person's opportunity. Best of luck!

@@leethadarshani9356 I have one suggestion though. Go through the geography degrees offered by Sri Lankan universities and check the curriculum. Also talk to graduates of those programs. Maybe you will be able to follow those programs and pursue higher education. I don't know for sure because my field is entirely different from arts or marine sciences. So it's better to ask from people who followed the same path.
