First of all Muslim Magomaev was a world known operatic bariton, was a highly educated musician( including 2 years in Italy) but not a pop star as E. Khil. Magomaev also was a "heir" of Mario Lanza in crossover classic genre. And it was Magomaev, who first sang this song on a TV Show as a musical joke.

There is amazing one fact. Muslim sang this song sometimes between 1966 and 1970 and Eduard in 1976. Between theese two singings there is 6-10 years gap and it still sounds great.

Olga Oo абсолютно нельзя называть Хиля попсовиком и эстрадником, слепо вознося и поклоняясь таланту "великого" Магомаева. Хиль окончил Ленинградскую консерваторию и тоже пел оперные арии и так же снизошел до эстрады. Песня была написана для Хиля, и обаяния и харизмы у него намного больше чем у Магомаева. Простой драм.певец, ничего необычного.

И всетаки при всем уважении к М. Магомаеву , он певец ограниченный. Его кредо это попсовые опер. Арии и песенное творчество А. Бабаджаняна.И побольшому стету все.А у Э. Хиля политра песенного исполнительства намного разнообразнее да и интереснее. Одна только военная тема чего стоит.

Я не знаю про какие поллитра вы говорите, но арии попсовыми не бывают. Опера это опера, и для её исполнения нужны большие талант и мастерство, и годы учёбы и тренировок. А вообще Магомаев был наверное наиболее разнообразным певцом своего времени. Он пел на полдюжине языков, исполнял и оперные арии, и поп песни, и твисты и рокнролы, и лирические и героические песни, и неаполитанские песни, и азербайджанские песни, и русские народные. Если вы плохо знакомы с творчеством этого замечательного певца, то наверное стоило бы поближе изучить вопрос, прежде чем оставлять такой пренебрежительный комментарий. А вообще, и Магомаев, и Хиль были великолепными певцами, и хорошими и позитивными людьми, поэтому надо отдать должное мастерству каждого из них.
