I was sitting, thinking about all the great voices I have heard in my lifetime, and Ivan Rebroff's name popped into my head. I remember he came to visit South Africa in the 70s and even learned some Afrikaans songs (phonetically) to sing at his shows. I believe he might have even brought out a record of it. I never even realized that he was German and not Russian. I only now found that out because adult me wondered how a Russian artist would or could have visited South Africa in the 70s.
Takes me back to the days when the popular singers were Ivan Rebroff, Demis Roussos and Nana Mouskouri. Great singers all of them and no one nowadays can match them either. Truly taking me back to a much happier time,

Ayant toujours connu cet air sans savoir la provenance. Je découvre aujourd’hui ce ténor qui m’impressionne de par sa puissance vocale et sa maîtrise mais aussi par sa prestance !! Il avait l’air de passer un agréable moment comme un dimanche commun avec tellement de facilité alors que cette prouesse doit être le fruit de beaucoup d’heures d’entraînement ! 👌🏻👌🏻
Ciertamente maravillosa interpretación, pero su registro es el de un bajo profundo que podía llegar hasta el registro de un contratenor con facilidad, un grande este bajo alemán, por cierto te recomiendo también escuchar la versión del barítono dramático oscuro Dmitri Hvorostovsky (que en paz descanse) de Kalinka y Katyusha, aquí los links:
