Changed out the switch, but still getting the engine code, still have the ABS light coming on and still have the brake lights coming on with no one in the vehicle. And the shifter keeps getting stuck in park until I shut off the engine and restart.
Same here, have you figured out ? It's ok to drive then traction light comes on and then I have to shut off and restart to be able to get it out of park.
Man. My van wouldnt go out of park, made me freak out that it cpuld be something like the selinoid till the code came back as brake circut. Mechanic friend of mine I told this to immediately knew it was this. Getting the damned thing back in place was a pain for my triple xl ogre hands though.
@@justaglimpsebydyrgas7409 oh its working now. But yesterfay my wife wrnt shopping and told me the brakelights would not turn off. Popped the sensor back in again, hopefully it stays this time
