    As someone in what you'd call an interracial relationship, it boggles how big of a thing people can make it out to be.

    • @ChadDidNothingWrong
      @ChadDidNothingWrong ปีที่แล้ว +81

      It's really all about culture more than race.
      What's relevant here though is that when someone has racist beliefs (whether they realize it or not), they will inevitably define their own culture, on a personal level by their race, which makes them very averse and more judgemental if anyone outside their race (or racial preferences).
      You see exactly that in these religiously anti-white people in our generation.

      @@ChadDidNothingWrong Wonderfully said. Though, in my experience, I've seen more religiously "pro-white" people in our generation.
      I don't watch tv, but when there's a commercial, ad, etc, it's always a white guy with an ethnic woman. Even man.
      I'm not trying to say "Oh you're wrong." It's just ridiculous how we're both even able to say that about one single race. Bring in other races and a giant problem becomes a plague.
      I love seeing interracial relationships. I hate seeing someone be with someone they don't actually want to be with just for the sake of culture. Meanwhile, it's just unconscious racism.

He did that to find the absolute most benign allowable racial stereotype he could, and the moment she pushed back he tapped out. This is being filmed, he knows it's going on the internet. There is no way that man was going to say anything. That man is a white guy hero. He had all of our backs in that moment. There's not going to be another thing on the internet about how evil we are. Does he look like a pushover? Yeah. But he was looking out for us, and we appreciate him for it. Some how, some way, one of us will pay that back to him. He has currency with us, we owe him one. I mean, race in America's a bit different due to the diaspora and mix of cultures; like a white American with ties going way back might have ancestry from Britain, Germany and Romania with native American, African and/or asian relative somewhere down the line - that goes double for Black Americans who might have ancestors who's original homeland is impossible to find out due to the lack of record keeping for those enslaved in Africa. That makes defining them more complex, so it's simpler to dumb it down to skin colour plus nationality.
      Comparatively when it comes to 'Indian' 'Taiwanese' etc they're likely first or second generation migrants (or live in ethnic enclaves) from nations than are significantly more ethnically homogenous than the US with a stronger national identity, so it's easier to define them with more accurate terms.

    Preach saying what I always tell women whenever I compliment them and they respond with something negative about themselves. I ask them "Do you date yourself? Do you marry yourself? Do you have sex with yourself?" Like, its good to have confidence in yourself and self worth, but unless you have something going on mentally, the answer to all those questions is no. So its not up to you to find yourself attractive or like yourself in that way, leave it to somebody else. If they compliment you or say they like you, don't respond with negativity. It puts unnecessary negativity on an otherwise positive interaction.

    I went on a date with a black women once. She spent half the date talking about how she’s “usually really not into white guys”
    Which is whatever, but I’m mixed and just look white and we’re on a date. So it’s a weird thing to keep mentioning. So I eventually decided to do a social experiment and replied to one of her comments “yeah I’m not a fan of black women either”
    She looked shocked and called me racist, I asked why that’s different than what she said. She then insulted me, cussed me out, left the date, and messaged me saying terrible stuff about white people and men.
    We’re all getting sick of the double standards. Women who hate men, expect hate. Black people who hate whites, expect hate back. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and it’s ridiculous that so many people now think they have free reign to hate white men without ever getting what you give thrown back at you.
