The brief shot of what it looks like through the pan dual nods was my favorite shot. It’s something most other channels haven’t seemed to figure out. Very cool video.
We have been riding like this for 10 years….we started military NVGs modded to bike helmets like yours. We never tried using infrared lights but it would definitely have helped. We also have been woods racers for a long time so we had the skill to do this….its ok on an open road but in tight woods it’s really difficult…you have to time when to turn as you can’t look down really close . I am sure your wider field of vision helped. We also tried it snowmobiling….it’s pretty amazing. Great video…love your channel.
That was incredible, then the outro was so seamless the video had such a cohesive story I was so entranced the ending caught me off guard as time flew by. Keep making videos!
New subber here... 65 yrs old biker... an e-bike with NVGs is my SHTF choice of a ''get out of Dodge'' vehicle... I skipped the light installation with a large IR flashlight resting on my shoulder, it works great! Cheers from Australia P.S: nighthunting is great too... with an IR laser...
Dude only 5k subs is insane. Movie quality video. I feel like this has a lot of military application too because the us is already experimenting with surrons.
been running my brute force 650 ATV at night with night vision for the last few years. I run a rechargeable Camera IR light I built a mount for the front rack. I get a 25m x 20 m throw of light. works good for total black out night runs. Started with my GT mountain bike then went to the ATV next the XR 650l.
This is awesome! I ride at night a lot, using a headlight sometimes but otherwise I just ride lights out so I can go unseen. I don't know if I'm just able to see at night better than most people or not but I don't really struggle at all to see, once my eyes are fully adjusted to lights off riding. I will say, riding with an invisible light only I can see and the whole night is lit up WOULD BE EXTREMELY FUN!! Dope video man!
This is maybe the most practical present day use for civilian use of nods. Of course, this all is practice for actually needing them. What a brilliant presentation and performance. I can see myself doing this.
Drove an up armor humvee through the snow under nods, was definitely a learning experience. I'd like to try a bike, maybe realllllly slow, great vid man!
You did a fantastic job making this video it was everything I was expecting and more! First time seeing you on TH-cam and I'm sticking around. The filming and editing is so well done!!!
Great video! Thanks. Watching from Europe, Germany. Being prepared becomes more of a thing again over here. Really enjoying this kind of videos as well as DC. Keep it up.
Those KLXs are great bikes, very versatile and plenty of performance, sounds like a badass build. I did a military conversion of a Honda XR 650R, turned out pretty good.
Happy to see u doing your own channel. When i saw you on the dirty civ video I wondered why you weren't doing your own thing already. Keep up the good work. South Fl is hoping to see more from you. I loved the shot of jumping the bike across the gas station doorway, lol. Very cool!😊
Been doing this for years on ATV's, but I can only get it so quiet. Hopefully the reviews on the Altis Sigma come back positive so I can get one ordered. This setup is such the 300 BLK of transport. Love it!!!!
Fast recon spec ops style, love it mate. Ready for bugging out at a moments notice unless there is an emp burst or the battery runs out. Oh well it looks good all the same.
I blacked out my Honda Ruckus and bomb that thing around at night with nods all the time! I do have a toggle for the high lights in case of emergency. I also left my blinkers untouched in case I’m on road with a car behind me and I need them to see me. Super fun, and the Ruckus is pretty quiet for what it is. My next step is to add some switched ir lights. Very cool video man! Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii 🤙🏽🤙🏽 Subscribed
I wish my 93 bayou had brake lights, but its nice that i dont have to worry about any lights if i have them off. I have an IR flashlight in a bike light mount and it works great for me. I usually dont even need it.
i had a road going KTM 300 XCW i had both the factory cutoff switch plus the bar mounted high/low beam so it was super easy to kill ALL lights (headlight, tail light, gauge cluster lights only) and no other functions. it was tucked down out of the way so i had to intentionally turn it on, it was great. miss that bike i gotta get another one.
Nice. I was looking at those same lights. I currently have a 450R and yz250f, so no dual sport yet. I put a 1913 section on my front fender and mount a UHP or NGAL on it when I ride with night vision. Great video.
Bro I've been having the same idea. If there is another lock down ever you want to be able to be mobile and difficult to detect. This is kind of like a scaled down zombie apocalypse vehicle 👌 May I suggest an additional option to add 70,000 lumen spot light to the rear of your helmet so you can effectively blind anyone using night vision or even driving with their headlights on persuing you? A bright light can bring them to complete stop 😉
Dude, well done.
Thanks dudes!
Wait! This isn't a @dirty-civilian video?
@@Zowbythis is one of the guys personal TH-cam channel
I knew I would find you here.

Thank you. It was tricky getting that shot. Required a lot of finessing and matching in post!

and im stuck in a classroom 😩
Infrared lights would only help if your NVG rely on near infrareds to begin with, if your NVG are residual light amplificators then nothing to do
Came here because I love Dirty Civilian. Staying because it’s different from Dirty Civilian. Great work!
They are good friends of mine. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Yo your the guy who was featured in Dirty Civilian, glad you made a YT channel of your own

I did this to my ATV's about a year and a half ago and have been thinking about getting an E-bike and doing what you've done, it's total badassery ^5

Great job on the setup, and incredible job editing this video!

So cool. I’ve been talking about doing this for years. A zero fx with night vision. You could ride all kinds of trails you’re not supposed to.

Amazing video production. Given on it's on top of great modifications of expensive equipment. Very hard to do, or at least, very tricky.
Thank you for making a video on something i have been Thinking about for Months ever since DC's First 2 wheeled mobility video

You should take a look at some of the Ride Gravitas mounting panels, they looks pretty good and would give you some additional light mounting.
