Probably one of the most unique tank transformations I've ever seen. Making the turret out of the legs should be done more often.
I’ve only ever seen it done like that on one other bot. And it was a Mars converter from Walgreens.
(Actually it was done before with Transformers 2011 Generations Darkmount/Skullgrin)

I was confused when he flipped it over and the legs were just hanging out there. Then when they folded up I was impressed.
It's very clever. Barricade from energon has them but that was almos 20 years ago... DAMN

Fun detail: The facial damage is heavily implied (if not confirmed, been a while since a read it) to be the work of Grimlock. Guy ruined Tarn's face like ten minutes after he got it back (Empurata's a hell of a thing). The next time they met, an amnesiac Grimlock punched Tarn in the, uh, _ballbearings._
Not sure why they had the mask peg in though. They did that with "Kultur"/Tarn but then "Tyrantron"/Megatron came with a magnetic one. I would've thought they'd do magnets again for Eris. Alas, seems like Megs won't be able to use this one as a substitute chest insignia.

Reviewing a female version of the figure before the original version is the most Jobby thing ever.
To be fair, as someone who owns both versions - Eris is definitely the better version

Also, as someone who has read the comics, lemme reassure you, Tarn and the DJD are more than just the Decepticons' personal enforcer squad that weed out those who aren't as dedicated or trators.... they're basically a cult, religiously devoted to Megatron! They even kneel before an image of him and recite their own messed up equivalent of the Lord's Prayer that ends with Megatron's classic quote "Peace Through Tyranny"! And Tarn had a crisis of faith when Megatron gave up the Decepticon way, joined the Autobots, and made a change for the better.
Watching this figure crunch up together into a seamless tank shows the creative dark magic of 3rd parties, and also how Samus has some competition as top of the "women who are so flexible they can scrunch up into things list."
Imagine when a doctor does a x-ray at Jobby's body, it's probably empty considering the fact that he sells his organs for us, God bless this man

I own this figure, it’s really one of my favorites. I hate that the release was so limited. The transformation is fun, all of the joints are tight on mine (after a little adjusting), and really even the tiny feet seem to somehow hold up this figure in basically any pose.
yeah here's hoping takara rips it off. they really should rip off thirdparty figures more often, I mean what are they gonna do, sue? I'd love to see that court case. plus they're chinese anyway.
I'm so mad I didn't know this thing existed until now. Usually a 7-month delay in learning about something wouldn't be a problem, but...
@@episodenull the trouble with collecting physical objects. In my experience, thirdparty shit stays buyable for ages though, often at shockingly okay prices as long as you're okay giving President Pooh money.

Technically I think road rage is the first. A red repaint of tracks - and ironically the more masculine of the two personality wise from what I've heard.
That was the most beautiful transformation i have seen in a loooong time. So smooth, so precise, so AMAZING! I wish more figures would be made like this! I'd buy this figure JUST for transformation!

Always thought that Tarn's design is the most epic in all of Transformers. Seeing a female version of him doesn't change my mind about that.

Great review as always Jobby I’m glad you decided to keep the transformation section after all. I don’t know why some people skip that part in Transformers figures reviews. Eris herself looks like a cool figure to have.
P.S. Did anyone else found it funny that Eris’ cannons she arm carries in robot mode plugs right between her legs in tank mode? I did. lol
being an original character created by Ocular Max her gimmick of copying other characters reminds me of Megaman and Kirby, also officially in Transformers Prime there is a character who can copy appearances named Makeshift.

I actually got to handle her ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) at TFCon this year and I have to say it’s a damn shame how limited her release was because she really is a great figure.
I have this lovely lady, and my god she's a fucking incredible figure. In all my years I don't think I've ever had such a good 3rd Pardy figure.
I wish I'd known about this one in time to get in on this release. Just waiting for the mass release that's supposed to happen eventually now as this thing is fantastic.
@@nameforcomments4092 thankfully you might not be waiting for too long. Ocular Max showed off the mass release version at a con not too long ago. It has different paint apps but it's the same figure.

Nah the least controversial thing you’ve ever said was calling David Kaye’s voice sweet and succulent. Man’s tones are damned good. Also? I think that’s one of the most clever ways I’ve seen a third party figure attempt to avoid being a total rip. She’s an original design based on a pre existing one.

Why can I imagine Eris doing some kind of flip or pose to get them upside down to transform, like throwing the cannon up in the air, the flip/pose, transforming the top of them, maybe even spinning their legs and waist, then right as the cannon is going to hit them, transforms the rest of the way
