Pretty sure it was also literally thrown out during the start of G1, and was almost instantly forgotten about and entirely replaced by the Decepticons ASAP, for a better chunk of the series. Think they found it in the woods seasons later.
@Umbra_Ursus It was found somewhere in South America in G1, I think. And in the Beast Wars finale, the nemesis crashed. Most likely in the place that would eventually become South America.
I think Nemesis is great. Really brings back the feel of big clunky Unicron Trilogy toys. I like her lank for her size too, really makes her feel like the speedy counterpart to the chubster that Ark was. 8/10 Step-on-me's
I heard speculation that the tiny axes were just a way to get those fins past the safety/drop tests - pop off of a peg rather than splinter and shatter
sadly they underuse a lot of the plastics, theres places where there could be better kibble handling here n there. but man... the fact that each finger isnt articulated is a sin

Glad to see you reviewing a mainline figure again. Another really good mainline figure they’ve released recently is legacy evolution commander class armada Optimus. The dude is massive and is probably then best version of that character.
The Final Wars Quote transition into the teaser for the next review was cold af. Excited for some more Big G stuff especially after seeing the masterpiece that is Godzilla Minus One.
I love the contrast between her and Ark. Ark looks like a stalwart defender, a juggernaut of strength and hope, while Nemesis looks like a nightmarish horror that will destroy everything you hold dear.
I liked how prime vs prime described her in his video, she’s almost gangly and creepy. Comes off as a zombie compared to the heroic servitude that arc gives off. She has this air of mindless violence to her. That’s my head cannon at least. Pretty cool that that’s a theme with the nemesis throughout Transformers, givin tripticon’s corpse was turned into the nemesis in FOC. Loved the video Jobby :D
My problem is all of the wings that separate and fold out look like they're parts of the Transformer that weren't meant to be seen instead of the internal mechanics of a starship. Like it's all the plastic that looks like mold pieces instead of ship pieces.
Now that it has an official design I’d love to see a 3rd party version with less kibble and better movement. I love the design just feel like they cheaped out on the actual toy

I wanted to buy her for Christmas but I got had sudden shit I gotta fix. I love that the moment I get some extra spending cash, something always breaks.
The fact that the launch ramp have friggin' ramp connectors is pretty wild to me, especially considering she's not in scale with _any_ of the other toys in the line. Except for the Ark.
Feels like the wings could easily have had one extra traversing butterfly joint so they could fold one more time on themselves and clear some space around her. Ngl, the robot mode does look way nicer overall however.
I was thinking of getting this but they also just revealed titan class tidalwave, I like the nemesis but it’s mainly carried by it’s ship mode tidalwave looks good all around
Funny how this video comes out the DAY after I finish watching Beast Wars for the first time (btw REALLY good show) and the Nemesis plays a big part in the final episodes
The way it’s being held reminds me of a prized catch. Like a really big fish. I really like how the wings splay open for her knees almost making the shape muscular but I really wished she didn’t have the wing bellbottoms. They really should’ve used some of the thickness in the limbs to thicken the che- the torso. I don’t like that she has a goatee, but her head is still really cool for the most part. Still wished she had a visor mode too.
Real talk tho it would’ve been cool if they incorporated another figure like other titans even the Ark did it with Mainframe if anything we could’ve gotten Vos from the DJD as her weapon and be his own figure or maybe a reference accessory of like Shockwave or Sixshot in gun modes, hopefully I can grab her on discount cuz I do rly like the Ark

As much as I'm dreaming, I want a Tidal Wave figure at this scale. You know, the scale of what an actual aircraft carrier SHOULD be. Complete with tiny little seeker planes on the deck.
As weirdly thought out & not needed were the robot mode's weapons, I do have a lot of appreciation that they're designed to be integral parts of both modes and can work when put away regularly; it'd hurt Nemesis way more if she had uniquely-designed weapons that just didn't fit in for both modes, like a lot of the other toys in the series.

Im not a hardcore model kit guy I do like to build them occasionally and most of time I can just twist the pieces out which is super easy
