I think I mention it in the video, but I received this optic with the intention of only using it in an upcoming budget pistol red dot durability test. I liked it so much, I decided it earned its own review. Cylee stated the screw hole size is the industry standard in order to fit multiple screw types. So know you will most likely not be able to use this on a Zev cut slide, unless your post are slightly larger than spec. It also looks sweet on a MP5 btw.
I have the BULL pro and I'm testing it on my 460 rowland FNX. If it holds up my HK match will get the same treatment. I like how these keep dirt and grime out of the glass when I carry on my belt.
Great review....keep it up.... however you missed a few very important details that the "savvy" experienced look for. Pay attention China PARALLAX (movement of reticle off target with head shift or when reticle approaches the perimeter edges of the glass) And ALUMINUM TYPE ( Ghinaesium, 6061, 7075 and also any treatment designation eg: T6, as well as the type of hard coat anodization of which there are several) No disrespect, just making constructive criticism, Iron sharpens Iron so to speak
no disrespect received lol. They say its 7075 aluminum, but dont mention what kind of anodizing or coating used. I doubt its T6. Its design mitigated the need for more expensive metal though, imo. Parallax is great, no noticeable shift. It looks very similar to my Eotech, I was pretty impressed with I just checked. Most cheaper units I have tested have a noticeable shift near the edge, as you said 👍
Parallax is particularly important Not to have when using these on a rifle or slug gun as a piggyback or primary, for the longer shots using unorthodox aiming head positions. BTW I have an awesome mod for your PVS14 that few know about that will greatly increase its usability at longer ranges if your interested in getting details. Its not very expensive either you just need to know where to look
I re checked to make sure, but there is no noticeable parallax with this red dot. The dot doesnt move at all, even near the edge, from what I can tell. Cheaper units normally do. This one seems on par with Holosun from what I can tell (minus the mentioned negatives).

@@mobilegamersunite I still prefer a closed emitter, but this is probably my favorite open design (function wise) 👍
@poortac5568 yeah I might be thinking that over myself. 🤔

I send back any optic that displays appreciable parallax, the market is full of them

For 3bills I think I'll stick with holosun for now. Good vid tho, thanks
I agree, unless its going on top of an LPVO 👍 Holosun is my favorite mini red dot manufacturer
Yeeeeaaaaahhh for that price imma just get a holosun. They went from 80-100 when they first came out to over 300 🤦🏾♂️
@@rouchenelvann This optic body is more durable for a holosun, but I would prefer a holosun on all my pistols 👍
Older Must have circle & dot on a shotgun .
The circle is still too small for that. A 60 moa circle would be better on a shotgun.
