I just turned 40 and took it out of the case, determined to learn how to use it. I searched youtube for Keith Richards and Chuck Berry lessons and found you. It’s never too late! And I would also recommend checking out Justin Guitar if you haven’t yet. He has an excellent beginners course that would really help you with learning the Fretboard. His lessons are free here on TH-cam as well.

I always name the notes and/or the string and fret number. Also try making the video full screen on a monitor.
