pretty excited to see someone making content for EQ2. Would be great if someone made a checklist of all the quests and such that one should have done at max level. I will say that i am enjoying Live!
Those tend to change but I could make some standard ones that are still around.
I was gone from the game for a long time and tried to play again. I figured out pretty much what this tutorial was saying. What I really got lost on was all the gear and adornments needed from previous expansions, all the familiar buffs, all the daily quest to include the overseers stuff. All extra adornments on top of adornments. the AAs on top of AAs on top of AAs. all the spells i needed to research. I know there is a core group of players that grind this. I played through the first four expansions really at a hardcore level. I enjoyed that more than trying to have a very large checklist of things I had to do. I knew that this Named boss drops my Master spell and that if I keep killing him, it'll drop. Not this super double platinum legendary diamond universe kingdom of queens master mythical spell. The game was too convoluted in comparison to say, Echos of Faydwere. Heritage Quest were great, class gear in raids. Cool story. That being said, I might still try to pick it back up and play.
All of that changes from expansion to expansion. Basically, you can have one item that is a must have, and then the next expansion it doesn't work. They have, at this point, pretty much removed 99% of all of those as things work for maybe 2 expansions, the current one, and the next one.
Also picking up or buying collectibles and turning them in gives you levels. One certain collection can take you from 20 to 80 (or 82 depending on if you have veteran bonus, potion and vitality.)
And which collection might that be?
@@MrJonathanj1981 I think there are 5 pieces from Aurelian Coast in the Blinding. The pieces start with Ka. Ka Vethan, etc.

May you please also make a video about the minimum setup for a good character nowadays. For example, in around 2011-12 period it was a must-have for every class to finish ~80lvl huge class quest for a special class buff(epic weapon or epic repercussions, can't remember now). Are there such quests nowadays? Would like to know!
The epic 1 is given to 120 boosted for free and epic 2 you can get in The Blinding. 120 boost is free if you buy newest expansion

@@hiddendope sorry if you do not boost you will have to do epic repercussions but should be easy enough at lvl100 to solo it

For alts, you can have a maxed out, 125 or 120 place a guild banner down in a sone with a public quest ( I like the blinding personally, but again you can’t do this method without having that expansion purchased) and simply met the gimp toon attack the public quest boss while the other people doing dps kill the mob. From there you can have someone with access to the collision of valor (you don’t need to do sit line to access it just take the first pop tradeskill quest) and run the overland weekly. From roughly 107 you can pull the same trick to let a party member share any of the chaos descending missions to run for xp, from there you can do the BoL prelude and do the repeatable quest in the blinding until you hit 125 :)
The pq does most of the leveling and will take you to roughly 103 or 104 from level 1, just my preferred take to get to max instead of running agnostics for hours with the aom and pop signature lines :p
For those without the bol expansion, you can get a head start by going to the plane of magic, and visiting all the teleport locations, it will get you to roughly lvl 21-25 so you don’t have to do any starter questing for those agnostics :)
The issue with all of these is that they don't work for new players, each zone you said requires access that is gained through questing.
But these are great ways to level quickly to get to agnostics, i just didn't want to completely out all the exploits so that darkpaw could just take them out
@@AntizarkGaming i mentioned alts for a reason :p obviously as a new player (especially free) you wouldnt have access because you wouldnt have bought any expansions, but you can put a guild banner to get the said alts over there afterwords. I just rather not do the pop and aom sig line + hours in agnostics because of how tedious it usually is, but just my thoughts =)

that's a good idea. I definitely need to make a video about that. It will mostly involve doing overseers but definitely any where you can consistently get familiars to feed yours, you can get them up, currently, the hippos and cactus work great, hippos are 1000 each and a legendary can be gotten to 10 with less than 75k as a 50k potion and a 25k potion will max out a legendary. this gives you the fervor, flurry, and hp bonuses. I have my main with a celestial, but all my alts have a level 10 legendary and i wore a level 10 legendary as i leveled my celestial. Also Reign of Shadows heroic zones can be soloed/duo'd and drop the mosquitos, which work the same as the hippo, finally, daily solo missions, weeklies, and familiars wild.
@@AntizarkGaming thank you so much for your feedback new to the game and want to speed through old content but im constantly running into brick walls like familiars and flying mounts which i think i have to get one just to complete the alter of malice timeline

The only problem with speed running to 125 is that people don't take the time to play and learn their class.
True, but this isn't for them. This is the guide for speed running. The Beginner guide is for them. I don't find that many people speed run and not know what to do. But having done all the classes and leveled them to 120 with this method. I can say that many of them change at 100+ completely.

This largely depends on how many characters you have at max level as you can get up to 200% extra experience for ha ving the max and you get 20% per.
but roughly 8 tp 14 hours for me. That is straight, no breaks.

You can just fast travel.
