Pressing W when watching a video lets you preview what closed captions look like... strange but true. I only know this because i keep trying to move the view as if i was the one playing.
question: why did you choose vertical crawlers into stormcallers? I thought that horizontal was always the better option, because storms will often miss horizontal crawlers, whereas they typically hit the back rows of crawlers in a vertical formation.
Just curious surrey mainly from the twitch question asked but what units would you consider running AM tech on if any? Or does AM saber/farseer etc have enough value if they say have 4 sets of stormcallers as it would take them 4 turns to sell out and you paid only 200 for the tech.
Only war factory and AM devices imo. There's certainly very niche use of mustang/saber/far seer AM but it's very hard to find. So if you don't know I would advice you to stay away from those units. Better to not use any AM early game and choose a turn where you start completely all inning every turn + using am devices. Or just build WF late game
@@SurreyEZ as a bad player, i have recently started struggling here and there against some stormcaller spammers. It never used to be a problem, but now that im near 1500 apparently my brain doesnt work anymore -.-
For the Round 6 unit drop in the first game, how come you picked the balls over the wraith? You said before and after that round you wanted to go into wraith, and it was high level enough that not many of his units including the wasps could really counter it. Was it the higher value of the balls? Or the risk of him picking boats?
i cant really kill anything big if all i have is wraith mustang and it was too late in the game to commit into the sabers. I built the wraiths after because he went replicate
Been doing mustang starts all day. Dropped from 1400 MMR to 1250-1300... then went back up to 1350. Weaker start, had to learn stangs. But I got to play with stangs + hackers that won the most. Stang ball was so so and stang rhino only worked once against aggro, I switched the rhinos to explodie rhinos in that case. Rhinos were useless in every match against standard/def positioning after 1 round.
My favorite thing to do into mustang start is start sledges and press turn 1 health link for 200. You wont be killing those sledges until you get a melter or something lol
That's good at very low level, but anyone who understands tech and counters knows link is bad on hammers and just exploit that misplay and get early Scorpion, or EM on marksmen. It's a one-turn trick that's easy to counter is wasted on round 1, better to use later as a tempo play if at all.

In practice tool both have similar results vs storm

Sounds fun but at my 1700 ish level people almost never start mustangs

also balls will kill those linked boys in 5 secs
Ratastic
Starting mustangs is for gamblers... Its just a feels bad where the majority of the time you are playing on the backfoot selling out of the mustangs.
additional recruitment now lets you buy 2+1+buy another per round (for a total of 4)? when was that rectified?
Can we just remove storms from the starting units? They are so stupid, I think almost every single game I play I face storms at the start.
I’ve been asking for this lol, remove storm start would be amazing
this
mustang start is dreadful.
