I think what was the winning move was in the 2nd to last round the mobile beacon took most of Grubby's army away while his opponent was trying to trudge through the oil which meant they could not contribute to the fight until much later. In the last round Grubby's army went to fight on the right and the value of the oil lessened while his opponent's army could contribute to the fight much earlier.
This was a painful one; i was feeling the hope and belief in grubtor was coursing through my veins, but the demon horde was ultimately able to prevail. GGs grubster I respect ur grind
I’m not good enough to advise. I would have gone for mustangs with anti missile. 3x and buying 3 more would dramatically change the board. But would it be winning? No clue.
19:10 the phoenixes on the right came into range first because ground army was slowed by oil, probably hugely helped that round EDIT: Yeah! Just compared the fights a few times. Actually diverting your army from right to left in 19:10 fight made the phoenixes advance way further across the oil, great trick to get weak air to expose themselves for the future.
what's the rationale behind the left side overlord beacon push in the last round, when the previous round proved the right side beacon dodge was key to winning it? also why not get wasp production when there are like 8 overlords on the board? not having enough chaff has been a problem since like round 4
I'm on round 8 rn but I think this army would do great with some storm callers with high explo or emp to clean up the spawned fangs that have ignite and tank the overlord and marksman shots
man i always get a comp that works for a week than i do a tournament or something and bam crushed. should i go into matches with a set thing im going to do regardless of the draws or just plan to play around what i get?
Grubby needed to break those shields and clear the the fang spawns. Vulcans with extended range and scorch maybe? otherwise maybe revisit those arclights or tarantulas he had and pop a tech and build more. Typhoon missiles have a fair bit of reach and hit with a decent amount of power so that might have helped on popping the bubbles. otherwise maybe mothership and wasps to be air chaff and eat the hits from the fangs such.
Grubby... the best bang for buck play is always level 1 - level 2 upgrade. level 2 - level 3 upgrade does not give you 100% increase in health and damage like 1-2 does. So, what is the reason for going to level 3 units instead of just buying additional level 2 and having a lot more firepower and board presence with additional unit
Thats not true. Basically every upgrade is one lvl 1 unit. 25% of a tier 3 unit is still an entire lvl 1 unit worth of stats. You get the same as if you would upgrade lvl 1 to 2. Its not always the best to put everything into one unit but it CAN be and you are getting the same Bang for your buck.
@@outdoorsvoyage6993 Ah I see how it works... thought it doubles the current stats for the next level... which IS true for level 1 - level 2 but not so much for level 2- level 3 :D
@@Novica89 Yeah you got to think of Levels as multipliers for the unit's base stats. So for example you want to know how much health a Lv4 Sledge have. So first you look at the base HP, which is ~3,500HP, then multiply it by 4, which'll give us ~14,000HP. Same with Attack, and bonuses from Tech and Items also multiplies as well. So put the Super Heavy Armor item on our Lv4 Sledge here and now they have ~42k hp now. That's how immortal units are born. So yeah, get your unit's promoted people.
@@daddysempaichan Useful info ! Thank you! Yeah, kinda knew about certain items that scale up with units HP or similar, was just confused on how much units get per level upgrade, but now it's pretty clear. Simple multiplication :D
You borrowed early but then on round 6 you really should have started borrowing every round I believe (borrowing round 6 could have gotten you typhoon barrier which is half of the point of going typhoon overlord)
Potentially, but with late game income and with that many barriers on the field it’s not too hard to plant down a bunch of missile interceptors and negate a lot of the benefit.
you pretty much invested in to much in consumables, not with elite spec, thats a big mistake, also sometimes omit upgrades in order to get more units man, he had just have to abuse the mass produced forts thats it
Honestly its kinda sad how cool and edgy they try to make themselves sound. Ugh guys i faced a 304717498734 mmr opponent that is number -438764 in the world. Hes just that good. In reality they are just terminally online people that look like they havent seen sunlight in weeks. beggars were better on the streets at least they didnt cry when you laughed at their antics on the street.
Lmao imagine being this butthurt over a game? You laugh at people forced to beg but you say others are edgy? You actually sound like your chair smells like gooch cheese stfu.
If they're content creators who got to that MMR because they stream 8h/day the same game as a living, how is that different to all the people working desk jobs sitting down indoors for 8h/day? I'll tell you. The desk jobs guys don't particularly enjoy or get excited by their jobs so after the 8h of being soul-sucked they have little energy left for things like gym/physical activities and likely have some crappy food to make themselves feel better, maybe a beer or two. Whereas someone who enjoys what they're doing gets up after the 8h of streaming, has positive energy to do some outdoors activities or go to the gym and end up in better shape than the average Joe. P.S. If you're working 8h/day at a desk, you're a terminally online person (and a large number of people are doing just that) so I'm not sure what you're point is other than being low-key jealous. Peace.

This is basically Protoss vs Zerg match up with elite vs cost control 😂
You needed scorpions with siege tech and acid shot, would have smacked the forts and more importantly they are great with elite spec

this is why i cant watch him he just throws so much whilst playing around with his pieces positioning
what's the point of wasps though? Forts' air barrage would wipe them anyway.
Least backseating chatter

I feel like wasp production and shielded wasps would have been good. Anti air barrage does hurt but I think they could have still helped a lot

No phoon barrier on elite spec is a huge troll, idk what he was thinking here
How do you Download that Game Is that in Stream ..
?.🎉
Am I a degen, or is a bunch of stormcallers the play here 😂😂😂

fort-fangs , how original mr.14
Use what is best, not what is new

How do you know they’re 14th, is there a ranking list somewhere?
there is leaderboard in the game
I was here FIRST!
Christianity is a terrible thing.
