      yes, i am a big fan of zeppelin and i can say that they played bad on that day because jimmy page with drugs, robert plant with a cold and bad drums without rehearshal but black sabbath had a little bit bad ozzy osbourne voice but good instrumental

      Imo not really. They played it in Eb tuning here so ozzy can’t hit the high notes. Almost every other performance is in C# which is the correct tuning. It sounds weird. Still killed it though

      Ozzy's voice sounds deep, like a serious singer instead of a clown, the bass and drums are killer, tony's riffs and solos are great as usual (even with the riffmeister having a hangover) and, well, singing children of the grave in the context of starving children in ethiopia, it kinds of ring a bell for me...

      That was still a whole dozen years away.

      @@kramalerav if I recall correctly, they considered it for a moment in 92 as well, of course that didn’t happen either. Ended up with Cross Purposes and Forbidden. Geezer did his own thing, and Ozzmosis with Ozzy.

    Ozzy IS gakked up lol, he totally sped through the intro…that gigantic, shiny Dracula cape he had on so that he could shed it for the audience to see…the curtain BARELY rose and he was tossing that huge thing off, the audience barely saw it lol….cocaine is REALLY bad for timing …its the reason jazzbos opt for heroin

      Bill Ward was the only sober member playing as he stopped drinking and drugs for good in January 1984 and this was his first performance stone cold sober.

    I've seen Ozzy twice (83/86), he's horrible live. He says "cmon" and "let me see your hands" all night" while pacing back and forth. Terrible

      I remember watching this saying What the hell kind of guitar is that??? Local shop owner identified it and ordered me one.
      Back when BC Rich was still BC Rich and were making some of the best guitars on the market.

    I was confused by the Born Again album cover at 1:47. The song Ozzy is singing is Children of the Grave from the 1971 Sabbath album Master of Reality. Born Again was Sabbath's album when they had Ian Gillan as the lead vocalist (from Deep Purple). It was probably the album they were promoting at the time.

    There is also a alternative fottage of Paranoid where the carmeras go a little bit crazy, "without" direction.
    It was up for a year or so. It begins with a interwiev with Brian May for british television. I think Live aid knight knows what I talking about...

      Fun fact: the bass Geezer Butler was playing was so sharp at some point in the show he cut he show he cut his thumb and struck a nerve. So for the rest of the show he said he couldn’t feel his hand!!! Fucking legend !! 🤘🤘🎸

    Black Sabbath were coked out and/or hungover from the night before, when they were supposed to rehearse. No rehearsals at all, and yet, they delivered a solid three song set.
    Led Zeppelin (Plant and Page) were more or less in the same conditions, and yet, they blame their terrible performance on Phil Collins, (who was already in a tough spot) instead of owning up there own mistakes.

      Reunion tour was from 1997 to 1999 i think. Ozzy was solo from 1979 till 1997 when he also started singing witt Sabbath

      They didn't reunite again after this until 99. It was 13 years between the end of that tour and the album in 2013.

      In 1979 Ozzy got fired from Black Sabbath for drug abuse. Since this was in 1985 I would assume that they didn't yet rejoin yet.
