Black Sabbath were coked out and/or hungover from the night before, when they were supposed to rehearse. No rehearsals at all, and yet, they delivered a solid three song set. Led Zeppelin (Plant and Page) were more or less in the same conditions, and yet, they blame their terrible performance on Phil Collins, (who was already in a tough spot) instead of owning up there own mistakes.

Queen got pre-empted in the States. By then Queen lost their fans in the US. The fans went to Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest after Hot Space angered the rock audience.
