Wow, someone's a bit toxic today @Fixx Foxx, lol. Not everyone is up to par to make good content like this even if you shared the files to them. I'm an animator with 20 yrs under me, trust me I know. The gold is in the script not just the 3D material. A 1st semester animation student can render stuff in Unreal to make it look sweet and it still wouldn't be funny or well done.
@@VioFax Each has its own value and are not exclusive to one another. A good animation doesn't require dialogue to be understood. a good script can be mentally visualized by the reader/audience, hence the expression "books let your imagination fly"...the animation part is done in your head, not an 3rd party animator. For example, Toy Story has a great script and animation, so it's mentally/emotionally/visually engaging, despite the fact that the "toys" look ultra basic in design for 3D content by today's standards of movie quality requirements. in said industry one is all too often asked as a mandatory skill to be able to storyboard/screenwrite in order to create animations for the written story. Not the other way around. You can find tons of examples on TH-cam of bad animators who claim to be good and script writers who can't act the things they say or write while in front of a camera.

Definitely make more of these. This feels a lot Iike the old RvB episodes. Great work!
Brilliant writing there Peter Haynes and excellent work by the team. Loved every minute of it.
I look at those guys and am reminded of the line "Do you ever wonder why we're here?"
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern..?
@@sammydavej Red vs. Blue, Grif and Simmons.
"Hey." - "...yeah?" - "You ever wonder why we're here?"
I understood that reference
@@themandalorian562 I understood THAT reference.
Actually funny & enjoyable. Also looks amazing.
Lighting under the armpits at 3:08 and finger shading at 3:39 were the only few spots I was pulled out of the immersion. Wonderfully done.
Solid voice acting and animating. Troopers feel real!
thanks!
GREAT job on the animations here! You can still get a good feel for the different personalities despite them being fully covered in armor. Nice!
The writing and acting are great but no one is talking about how amazing Unreal Engine 5 is. Maybe everyone thinks it's real people - I don't know. But it is all CGI. Amazing!
Hey, we got those two Speederbike Troopers at the end of season 1 of The Mandalorian & this so much reminded me of those two, this was just as good & funny. Storm Troopers ARE humans, too, you know. And I love it when we get to see it.
Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally played those biker scouts, there’s a interview somewhere of Sudeikis talking about hitting Grogu.. look for it, best shit ever
This was amazing! Reminds me off the scout troopers in the Mandalorian Season 1 finale.
These are great please keep them coming written great and the troopers are funny the veteran has grumpy fun side and the rookie is hysterical
This was brilliant! Definitely make more.
Good writing, good acting, good timing. I’m dying that the head guy’s been doing it for twenty years and he’s still watching a latrine…too funny.
These two make a good trooper duo. Keep it up, awesome work.
Love this! You guys give me a shout if you ever need a voice cuz that was amazing
Nah
We good fam
@BEEFY YT, @Brea Canyon Drifter, Jamie is an actual actor/voice actor with an impressive resume and AFK - The Webseries should feel honored he offered . How about not being dickheads. Kthxbye.
Hi Jamie, I only just saw this comment which got buried in the flow! I loved your Solo film, it was an amazing achievment. We should definitely do a colab, drop me a line at the email on my info page :)
i like how you can see how he isnt properly holding the blaster. overall this is very impressive
I'd like to think this new guy breaks the Vet into realizing for all his experience he's been resigned to a literal shit post and perhaps they'd warm up to one another and scheme a way to get out of their position and into the spotlight
Storm troopers in the spotlight?? Naah, they'd get forced choked on the 1st screw up or sabered by some jedi scum. Hehe. Boring yet safe assignment given those armors are useless. If they rocked Mandalorian armor though, then I'd say he'll yeah to front line action.
Y-all are awesome on this series. The writing is fantastic. Making them come across as ‘real’. Keep it up
Better than the new trilogy. Wow.
Amazing, every word in that sentence was wrong
@@splashnskillz37 The new trilogy was absolute trash.
@@timc9789 episodes were okay but as whole i can more than agreed
@@splashnskillz37 wrong
@@timc9789 No they weren't bruh, they were fine
😂 “Forget the Death Star this is the MVP of Imperial Tech.” OmG!!! You guys HAVE to make more!!
Great writing great acting, great character arc development
I bet it's sand that is pinching in his suit. It gets everywhere.
At 4:12-4:13 you can see the troopers blaster merging/passing thru his body armor. Other than that, pretty impressive game engine.
1:41 his left hand passes through the blaster.
Thanks, Debbie.
0:46 you see the trooper on the left has his wrist (and armor) bend weirdly
I'm so stoked to be onboard waiting for you guys to make more content like this, this is truly amazing.
Good God, this is the best. Someone has to guard the restrooms so the rebels don't put the explosives in them. It's unfortunate to go to the bathroom when explodes under your balls. For the Empire!
Civil protection vibes
Big thanks for creating these shorts! For real! I could watch these all day and never get bored.
Finally something has come along with the same fun writing and voice acting as OG RvB.
Awesome work guys! 👏 Hilarious dialogue, loved the whole thing 😁
The love for the Stormtroopers is growing.
Major Red Vs Blue vibes 🖤
I'd watch a series on this
Getting real Jake Peralta vibes from the new trooper, love it
Please. let me listen to that whole Palpatune playlist. I need it in my life.
This is the 3rd video of these guys that I watch and I have to tell you, I've never laughed so hard in the entire Star Wars universe 🤣🤣🤣💯
That's hysterical. Was he listening to positive affirmations for stormtroopers? Ha!
These AFK videos are the funniest videos I've seen in years. If u haven't seen any of the other videos, trust me the are hilarious.
This is brilliant and I love it!
This is wicked, what would be even more wicked is if you guys uploaded the project files for this! Would love to see the intricacies behind the scenes!
@@VioFax shut up
Wow, someone's a bit toxic today @Fixx Foxx, lol.
Thank you! Great job! Greetings from VILL Studio.
I love the POV of the little guys in the star wars galaxy.
I find it alot more interesting than magic space wizards and big death balls in space
Would’ve love seeing how the newbie trooper be reacting if it was Darth Vader coming out that crapper: “My Lord! Did you use the Force?” 😄
Utterly outstanding character animation. Such realistic and subtle movement! Great work!
3:38 caught that old school Battlestar Galactica theme going on there 👍🏼
My personal favorite theme song. I actually have 2 different versions on my main playlist. There are several out there, including a longer version. Great stuff, and the way they stuck it in there was perfect. This whole video was gold.
Stormtrooper here, can confirm: the academy sucks, I can't wait to graduate
It's awesome that the veteran trooper's main goal is to continue to not get force choked lol. I hope there are more of these.
kudos to everyone involved, simply brilliant
