Plus, since Force sensitive people can basically read your emotions, Vader knew EXACTLY what was going on in that trooper's head ! Good on him for letting it go.

One of the reasons that I love this so much is that it can coexist with the so-called regular cannon. It doesn't disturb it, and honestly it's better than the so-called regular cannon. I've always had a fascination and an interest in the undercurrent stories in famous works.

Honestly you guys managed to put in more character development in these tiny clips than most full length movies manages to do to a single character over their run time.. Absolutely love it... And now you starting to pull on our heartstrings as well.. Such a great series 💖

I'm not a vet but I shed a tears too. The way he keeps tabs on what's going on with FNG and chose to spend the day with him but did not bring it up himself. That's love. That's the highest order of looking out for your brothers love.

Now when I say I push it from my mind I don't mean I forget more like I store it in a dark corner under the label of payback that line hit hard.
Sarge just losing it at Vader and saying everything he wants to say got me good! Thank god it was all in his head, Vader is never going to have a “Normally I’d kill you, but your strength of character in standing up to me has impressed me so much I’ll let it slide this one time.” moment.
Also, I think the little peak of fear at the end remembering Vader would absolutely nuke him if he did probably helped his chances.

We use zero AI too. All is hand animated in Unreal Engine 5 using elements available on the internet through the UE5 Marketplaces.
I have many times caught myself wondering how much the sets and props cost.

If this was 10 years ago, I'd say imagine Dave Feloni getting his hands on these characters for an animated series. However sadly the main franchise is dead in the water for the forseeable future. So little things like these videos are refreshing and reminder of what was. :)

@@jacobpickens2283 I would argue that he never did. At least, my first exposure to his work was the Clone Wars cartoon, and that was so anti-stakes that it actually helped take the wind out of my sails about Star Wars even after years of being the most die-hard fan.

Doesn’t Vader read Luke’s thoughts in Jedi to realise that he has a sister? I think he can when someone is particularly emotional.
@@BillyZeroWrestler Its a bit more nuanced than that. Luke invited, were actually communicating telepathically. When emotions run a high in someone it’s easier for somebody like Vader or Palpatine to read their Primal thoughts.

This is a great series, and this episode was one of the most touching things I've seen in a long time. Keep up the great work.
I just love how human these characters feel. They're always under a mask, but they're so memorable. I felt bad for TK-FNG when he admitted he lost everyone in his missions and chokes up a little. He saves it until they're down there to be vulnerable when it's just them, and it's heartwarming how TK-FKU calls him son despite how much annoyed him. Sounds like you're really watching a story about a guy who's just seen it all and tried hard to not break because of it. Puts on a strong exterior, and in the end, he's willing to empathize and remind his troops he cares. I think having them all in a mask puts a lot of that into perspective. Doesn't matter that they all look the same or just have assigned code names instead of real names, they're still human (or whatever race they are but you get the point).

Every one of these videos is such a delight. Every time I see a short vid or a trailer, I get all quivery and giddy, like a hamster with his dish newly refilled!
I honestly feel that the TK-FKU, I think that's who it is, is a prime person who if given a chance, despite what he said, would in fact join the Rebellion. He would get as much data as he can get beforehand, get on a ship heading for a battle, get into a TIE fighter, and fly to a Rebel ship while blasting on a Open channel, "This is Stormtrooper TK-FKU to all rebel ships, save my old ass I'm defecting!" Now I know he basically said he would never defect, but with what happened to him and what he did to that stormtrooper, that makes me think he would join
I think he's a pragmatist and simply doesn't believe the rebels have a chance. It's easier to kill the krait dragon from the inside. His story arc is leading to his own personal rebellion and some kind of sabotage. Now if he got some kind of data that made him actually believe the rebels could win with it he would 100% defect. But he won't do something like that on principle. Only if he truly believes it will work.
@@AmazingMrMe123 He's building a "fifth column" organization within the Imperial military, or plans to. Leaking secrets, work slowdowns, opportunistic sabotage, and so forth.

The Sgt's comments about 'payback' and it being 'easier to kill a Kray Dragon from the inside' caught my attention. In fact, his whole speech about the beach waiting to come back to life following the removal of '10,000 years of peace and order,' makes me think there's a major story coming.
