This one is my new favorite i have, i can keep it maged to my phone but charge it with the wire so it doesnt over heat or get throttled. Plus you get more juice by not using the mag charging because wire is more efficient. But since its mags to phone im not holding 2 separate things or there not bouncing around in pocket or bag.
I always wondered if it will prioritize wired over wireless even if it is connected wirelessly. and you showed it here in this video. You always know what people are looking for to make purchase decisions.
I have this one and the other non Magsafe Zolo that came out a couple months ago. This one is by far my favorite. Magnets are very secure even when using wired charging. Very useful.
I love it but I can’t use any less than 20k especially with so many output options. Charging 3 devices at once with only 10k is going to go incredibly quickly in my experience at least. I understand it’s gotta be slim for MagSafe but I just personally required 20k min for a powerbank. For others this is probably THE powerbank to grab! Great review Josh, I’m always happy to see Anker product reviews by you in my feed!
iv always loved your enthusiasm in your videos about anker products. iv personally have been using their products for years and i love it as well. i appreciate you making all these videos and showing what each one can do, and the Volts and Wattages ect. and i love your energy in every video, you sound like a kid on Christmas so happy to have a new power bank and what the pros and cons are :).. keep up the good work my friend.
Omg I was just about to order the older maggo with kickstand but your video came up on my page. I’m gonna wait now until this product is available on my country. Thank you so much for the review!
I wonder why Anker isn’t pushing this product as hard as their maggo lineup. I wouldn’t have known about this if I didn’t stumble upon your video and might opt for this over the maggo products since it seems like a better value.
@@wwjoshdew thanks for the review! Made my purchasing decision a lot easier. Do you have anymore of their secret products that you’re going to review??
The only place I use wireless charging is my phone stand in my desktop just because I know the AC blast straight to it. Tried one of those car holder chargers and it triggers temperature warning. Yeah I'd rather use the cable even if it says it's wireless too.
I wonder how it switches between wired/wireless. Does the bank just have a sensor built in so it knows when that type c cable is disconnected from its little home? or is it up to the iPhone to notice "Hey, Im being wired so i'll choose that". I'm also on the same side as that one person you described. I don't care too much for the wireless part but this looks like a amazing cabled charger that sticks onto the phone.
i wonder if anker can make a magnetic one without wireless but make it steady to do wired only. i dont like the heat generated by wireless charging anyway.
@@cl8wnm5n but it still has wireless charging that can be triggered. would be better if they just remove the wireless charging coil and just have the magnets stick to the magsafe case then let it be used like a regular powerbank
I don't get why it features both wireless charging and a built in cable, when the latter is simply better in efficiency, heat generation, and speed. Unless of course you need to charge two devices at once.
It is a bit wierd to be sure, but there IS a potential use case for this. I have an S24 Ultra that I use with a quadlock case on my motorcycle. The quadlock has a magsafe-compatible case where it'll line up with magsafe mounts, as well as their own quadlock mag mount. Because it needs to be compatible with the quadlock mechanism, the case is quite thick in the back. Many users have reported that while magsafe chargers will mount to the case, not all chargers have a powerful enough field to reach the coils on the phones, Iphone and Galaxy alike. There are also lots of magsafe compatible cases that are made for phones that don't have wireless charging, and are used largely for mounting purposes. I meet up with friends to play Pokemon Go during events, and they usually last between 1-3 hours. Being able to pop this in my pocket, then charge while using the cable and still have the powerbank firmly attached to the case would be quite handy. They could have made this with just the magsafe connection but no charging capability, but then people would be confused and think they're buying one that charges. It just seems more simple this way.
I think just having the MagSafe connection is worth it to keep all your stuff together, the ability to have it wirelessly charge is just a bonus for me

I think I'll buy that black one for my Android. A Magsafe case plus wired charging is so efficient. 😅

Idk. I just saw a new listing on amazon and sent my contact a message, and they sent it over for review.

I would prefer if the cable wasn't installed on the power bank. If it had the keychain cable feature instead. It would of been perfect. 👌

Wireless charging turns off when you plug in wired

Very slow compared to new MagSafe 25 watt charging
The ultimate would be an 2 tb ssd and 25 watt MagSafe battery pack.
