NICE.. from the side it looks a bit like my trusty ol' KTM 640, chesty with a slim behind. only the beautiful double oval airducts of the Kato remain unmatched 😊
Looks nice but 492lbs in weight is a big no from me !! I'll stick to my mid size bikes that will run circles around this and all the big bikes in the trails
492 wet & 113hp puts it easily lighter and more powerful than an Africa twin , inline with a bmw850gs weight wise but again more hp & i think the same if not far off from the triumph 900 , way more hp & similar weight as the V85TT ... so based on the specs appears very competitive , not a middle weight class leader like the ktm 890r/Husky 901 or 700tenere

I think it looks pretty generic. I much prefer the look of the CRF1100L, and the manual model is only 3 kg heavier than this DesertX. And doubtless much more reliable.
I'll give it credit for styling. Love the headlights and fairing. But come on. The bike doesn't look to have great ground clearance. It pops wheelies... it should. It's almost a 950cc bike. That means it's heavy. Maybe lighter than a few it's aimed at, but the entire class is heavy. But notice not once was it shown on video being tested on gravel or dual trail? Because it's heavy and the grind clearance ain't great. In other words, it's basically a street bike with ground clearance that can handle gravel roads and hard pack. No thanks. I've heard people love them, but no thanks. A KLR 650 will dominate this Ducati off-road. And I guarantee the KLR is superior in comfort and price. Love the clip of them camping at night yet nowhere in the video are they hauling gear!?

loved the lc4 but for the vibration , mine shook like a wet dog on the highway
Looks great
It does!
Where are the 600cc/650cc? Like the XR 650 R, that is what we want, with e-start.
The 2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally blows this out of the water as well as the GS1250. Que... Mic Drop Sound...
Honda AFRICA TWIN, reincarnation!
Very good looking motorcycle, my style too😍❤💯😎
I like the bodywork & look, now make a 400 lb. model
"A modest 220kg".... seriously? Nice of you to regurgitate that from the press release, but that's a joke and you know it.
How could you not mention the Taureg??!

it's not made for trails anyway.

I love Ducati but I’m very disappointed in the color design. Almost $17,000 for base model
Too heavy ...as always

MV Agusta is disgusted with it's lucky explorer concept that looks identical to this ducati desert LOL.
