@@Rust_valley_adventures a good bike should be easy to ride, not require you to be Pol Tarres. A good rider can ride anything better than a poor one. Having a high hp motor then neutering it just so the average rider can actually put the power down into the dirt is a weird way of doing things imo.
@@Rust_valley_adventures not anything meaningful(I don’t like doing sketchy stuff on other peoples bikes), but as I mentioned I’ve ridden with a handful. I’d consider myself a low-intermediate rider, most people I ride with are much more talented riders than I am and things I find simple on my T7 presented more of a challenge for them on the Ducati. A quick example would be wheelies over obstacles on low traction surfaces, the length/width/power of the DX made it noticeably more challenging to hook up and loft the front up and over things. Loose sandy hills was another, they’d consistently have a challenge keeping the power consistent enough to not spin the rear and dump all the momentum.
I have been riding with Ducati all my life, but in recent years their prices have been much too high. And let me be honest, I switched to BMW and I am so satisfied. You be looking at £21500 , if you want heated grips and the turn by turn thats another £530 !! The aux fuel tank is £1300 . The rear racks from ducati are stupid money at £800 odd !! I got outback motortek pannier racks on mine for £250 quid and they rock solid ! That bike going to be a starbucks acessorie bike for the majority of the buyers for the rally desert x 😂😂 we need a new honda xr650r with electric start and a 6 speed gearbox and that would kill everything off for riding long distance offroad
I’ve ridden with a few guys that have the regular version. The general consensus is it’s too heavy, too long, and has more power than it needs. They look and sound amazing though, and that’s all some people want lol
Your friends obviously don't have the skill to ride it offroad and in the enduro mode it's 75bhp 😂😂😂
@@Rust_valley_adventures a good bike should be easy to ride, not require you to be Pol Tarres. A good rider can ride anything better than a poor one. Having a high hp motor then neutering it just so the average rider can actually put the power down into the dirt is a weird way of doing things imo.
@@Holmaaron have you rode a desert x ?
What you get for your money compared to Ducati! Simply fantastic, German quality, superior comfort, character engine, just everything I expect from a motorcycle. And now you have the new BMW F900 gs for €8000 less! 🙌
what are the other 5? That is the question
Ducati catering for the affluent, 6ft4in, powerlifting crowd with those £19k, 910mm seat height / 225kg figures, I see. Seems like a pretty specific niche, but what do I know...
Bella
😍
A bike for my height finally :D
T7 World Raid or World Rally is also great for us tall riders. And a lot cheaper. 😂
My modified Africa Twin 1100 now has around 910 mm as well. Maybe even a bit more. 😂 Perfect for me now.
@@GCTO239 but a Ducati is always a Ducati
@@12shirosaki so what? A Honda is a Honda. Seriously, my 1100 AT is also a red beauty, a magnificent offroad bike, perfectly built and totally reliable, tailormade for me now in its offroad configuration. Already 38000 hard km without a single issue. And it has something that other manufacturers do not offer and which you don't wanna miss once you have it...DCT. But I can also agree that this Ducati is a thing of beauty. Stunning bike!
@@GCTO239 a reliable bike is the problem
It’s just boring if it doesn’t break every week
@@12shirosaki 🤣🤣🤣🤙🏼
KTM 1290 Super Adventure R is 218kg. Surprised this is 230kg at 936cc
I'd say "take my money" but I can't afford it 😅
it's a nice bike, not for me, but it's nice
Cagiva 750 the best
Yo MOTOBOB, 910 mm seat height, should have a panoramic view from up there 📸
As an 6ft7 tall rider: Ducati is God. Finely a motorcycle that's made for tall Scandinavians and West-Europeans!🎉🎉🎉
I'm not short but that seat height is just ridiculous and will seriously limit sales.
I wonder how many hardcore off road riders would pay $24K on a bike?
Wow 18k...thats too much!
Why am I watching videos of a motorcycle that I have no chance to be able to afford xD
Context: here in the Philippines ducati price has 30% markup vs the us/uk price
great bike but 19 grand, that's 2 teneres good Lord
Seems like they’ve ran out of ideas and just chucked the design together because everyone else is launching a new range. 20k to ride the rough and green lanes is a bit to much for me and that’s without repair bills 🤔
"Dewcatee"
Best looking adventure bike but too expensive, too heavy and too tall
i hate how it looks, but 250mm of travel in new adv bike is basically unheard of, itd be very interesting to know hows the tune on that suspension, it have potential to be amazing. Personally would never buy it though, terrible overkil look, and bike as whole screams overkill, high fender on adv bike is also a big no-no, and not just because it looks ridiculous ;
Sounds like use error
My basket is empty........
26k eur is 🥜
or aprilia
Nice but for a semi retro big 'off roader' the Triumph Scrambler 1200X looks better. This Rally Desert X must be a pure image machine
I'm 5'7" and this version is 910mm Damn it 😢.
I own a sled..like the retro look..lots of people compliment. the 24 x looks too aggressive. overkill on ducati pica. for the price..fix the wind screen so it's adjustable. nicer can..so ugly on bike. did you borrow the seat from Honda AF. hate the look. make front fender adjustable, u know y. we aren't always in the mud. maybe I buy ..
£18995
😢
That's alot that's why I wont be changing my 2023 desert x for this new one as bike prices are getting silly , you paying 10k-11k for a new ktm 300 enduro 😂
Bloody expensive
tubes are nonsense and make no sense. seems like hardcore riders don't run tubes. i bet you they're not running tubes in the promo video.
You can drop the tyre pressure with tubes and not worry you going to pop the bead off
@@Rust_valley_adventures, then i get pinch flats. on heavier bikes like this, one won't drop tire much below 30 psi with tubes. at 25 psi, one will get pinch flats all the time, unless she rides real slow. with tubeless, i quickly plug it. i only run tubliss and tubeless. if one rides hard, he's running tubeless or mousse. uhd tubes adversely affect bike and suspension and i still get pinch flats with uhd. how pros run tubes? i bet none
ใช่เหมือนบริษัทเปลี่ยนเจ้าของรถรุ่นไม่เหมือนเดิม
I am 6ft 5in, love the higher seat height
