One of the best mods for the Jeeps!

JeepCables.com has made upgrading your major electrical wires super easy and honestly an incredible deal. This is an easy upgrade that gets rid of the horrible factory Mopar battery terminals and wires.

@@XtremeTruckAuto do you know if this set up would help with stuff like light bars and subs?

@@R35PECT77 yes it will. The stock WJ cables suck! So I will always say upgrade them but going with a larger than stock wire diameter will allow the wire to carry/ handle more current. It's like going from a straw to a garden hose. Sub amps are typically wired directly to the battery as are most light bars. So this upgrade will make it easier for your alienator to keep your vehicle charged.

Have you noticed any improvements with your mph or how it runs. I just received my big 7 kit.

I have noticed a big change in the way the jeep runs. A lot of the electrical "gremlins" were due to that horrible stock positive battery terminal. The gremlins I am referring to is random no starts and the gauges acting like my alternator was bad. It also has help smooth out my idle. As for the MPH or MPG I have not see any improvement.

I've seen a lot of WJ channels doing this "upgrade". What benefits do you see now?

I was having electrical issues at random. Also, the cables and terminals were old and needed to be replaced. So, I upgraded and it fixed my issue.

what wire gauge would you recommend?

Depends on what you are doing with the jeep. I have off road lights and plan on adding a wench and small stereo upgrades later so I went with the 2 gauge. 4 gauge would be close to the stock size and work just fine on most jeeps. The 0/1 I would do if I was going to put a big stereo into it.
