    Happy St. Patty's Day to you! Lisa, this is my very first post that I am making and I am 'honoring' you with it. YOU are AWESOME. I just took my corned beef out of my Ninja and it is the BEST one that I have ever made. I omitted the beer as I didn't have any and used stock. Moist and tender and it tastes divine. I thank you especially for teaching me how to cut against the grain and pointing it out. I tell everyone to come to your channel and I share your knowledge with my friends.

    Made this and loved it. Only thing is I put the cabbage in first, pressured for 3 mins, added sliced carrots and cubed potatoes, pressured another 3 mins. My friend followed this and said the cabbage was not tender enough so she cooked it 3 more minutes, but the potatoes and carrots were overdone.

      Yes. you could just watch the sodium if your using store bought stock. You can use any liquid as long as its the correct amount and you like the flavor.

    Mmmmm where did u get the trivet happy birthday

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! The OXO trivet is from Amazon, I have a link in description. Its actually a boiled egg holder but it works great for a trivet, gives much needed extra height in NF. I made a meatloaf today Pot in Pot method and placed potatoes on top of pot for mashed potatoes. Worked out great. I wasn't able to place potatoes on top of pot with metal trivet that came with NF. Oh, check Bed Bath and Beyond or Kohls they may have trivet as well. May get a better deal using Kohls card if item is on sale-not sure though. Thanks again!

      In your pic is that a Toyota? I'm pretty sure it is. Miss my trail riding days. I've had a jack upped Jeep Wrangler until I had little mishap with the transmission,lol and still have my 2001 Toyota Tacoma TRD-the thing won't die no matter what I throw at it. Still a daily driver, my brother uses it for the winter and can handle driving through the woods for our family paintball events.

    Happy Early Birthday, I say celebrate all month! I'm going to make this for Saint Patrick's Day & Your Birthday! Just one question, I believe you said quick release for the veggies, but said manual release for corned beef? Is manual release the same as natural release where you let it go for so many minutes before you open it? If so how many minutes?

    • @pressurecrisp

    Nice recipe but do you know the “English” name of the cut of beef you used? I’ve never seen a cut in UK or Ireland called “corn beef”.... maybe it’s brisket or flank? Thanks

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its part of the brisket-there is a point and a flat cut. Not sure what the pieces would be called in UK or Ireland. The flat cut has less fat than the point. Any least in US the flat cut is more common for corned beef.
      Corned beef is made by brining the brisket. Where pastrami is brined then smoked.
      I just did a search to ask what corned beef wold be called in UK-"salt beef"
      www.myjewishlearning.com/the-nosher/were-obsessed-with-this-british-version-of-corned-beef/
      This may help. Not sure if its exactly the same but I would have to fly over and try it -lol. Thanks for the watching!
