    The best 3D printer resin. I don't have money or time to figure out what is the best resin, but this guy does. I have now moved exclusively to Siraya Tech resins, and they are certainly the best I have used.

    Hi, Timo! A valiant effort on this toy. It was so completely trashed, it took all of your considerable talents to bring it to where it ended up. Printing the parts is still a mystery to me, and I'm not sure about how the details and proportions work. It's great to have your voice and presence back on You-Tube. I enjoy your work very much! Best, Stephen

    Expert level work, Timo. All of the replacement pieces you made were spot on. The end result is something to be proud of. Very impressive restoration. That's a Lucerne Switzerland license plate. And Ursula Andress is Swiss. Some Bond trivia! 🍁☕🇨🇭👍

    • @timosdinkydetailing
      @timosdinkydetailing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Andrew. The license plate number was actually one of the plates from Bond's rotating DB5 plates. But I suppose Lucerne has a certain "je ne se quois". Parden my French.

    Nice restoration! Did you consider filling/covering over the hollow back on the front seats?

    • @timosdinkydetailing
      @timosdinkydetailing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Rodger. I didn't worry about too many details, like the hollow behind the seats, because on this one, I wanted to go for a traditional restoration, with minimal detailing. That's why I didn't even paint the interior. I figured the many parts I had to reproduce was enough work. Cheers

    At first I thought you were going to fix up a James Bond Aston Martin, but when you said it was a convertible, I knew it wasn’t THE Aston Martin!
    But it’s okay since it was interesting to see you salvage another Dinky Die cast.

      Thanks Robert. I did, sort of, make it a Bond DB5, by putting one of the rotating number plates from Bond's car on it.
      If you want to see the Bond, Corgi version of the Aston Martin DB5, I did one recently at

    Great job Tim, I just got a 3D printer, one of my kids was tired of it, I haven't made anything yet maybe you can give me some pointers. You are the 3D daddy, lol. Later Don✌️😎

      Thanks Don. For some free sources of printable items, I suggest Thingiverse. You can find a lot of cool things to print, including my designs for Dinky parts. I also strongly recommend Siraya Tech resins, particularly "Simple". They are easier to print with than any other resins I have tried, and will save a lot of headaches. Cheers
