- After many years of hearing about it, I finally decided to take on Impossible Creatures. The second game by Relic Entertainment, Impossible Creatures was released 2003 so its proper old now. But at the same time there has never quite been a game like it. One that allows you to combine animals and send the resulting creatures into battle. A concept that would have blown me away as a child and still kind of does to this day. But how does the game proper hold up? Well you'll have to watch the review to find out.

i remember seeing an add for this game on a gaming magazine and really wanting to get it as a child...
Oh, i remember playing this game as a child! Wasn't able to beat it as a kid I was, but still have very warm memories of it
omg this game was my childhood!! the henchmans dialog barks are burned into my frontal lobes
God, thank you for this. Impossible Creatures was on my video essays to make list and now that somebody else made a really great one, I don't need to anymore! You have no idea how glad I am to hear it has such a strong modding community on steam, too.
Also I haven't played it for decades but I can still hear "The critters are under attaaaaaccck" somehow.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The henchman's voice lines are going to haunt my dreams for years to come and I'm here for it
Niiice, I remember picking this game up as a kid from a bargain bin at Hastings. I would play it constantly and remember excitedly downloading the DLC, though I've never encountered any visual glitches. Didn't know peeps modded it on Steam, so that's something I'm excited to check out. Good vid, brought back memories.
I have fond memories of this game. By "Fond" I mean everyone rushing to T5 and brawling Wolverine/SpermWhale mixes because it had the echolocation ranged attack and over 1k hp.
I could tell it was relic from the moment I saw that opening cutscene 😂
i loved crossing the praying mantis with the whale. It made for a huge bipedal Insect monstrosity, that was amphibious, had dangerous claws and a sonar ranged attack while being super tanky.
this game was so fun as a kid, replayed it just a few years ago
Oh wow the Algorithm actually fed me something cool for once, 10/10 vid
I like the style
long live the chimpmeleon
nice drawing i like it thanks noah
I hear you, i see you but the Praying Mobster is clearly king.

@@oshycontin I have good prices if you need anything 😏
I never actually played this but I was acutely aware of it as a child as something that just sounded stupidly awesome, especially with how much I played Black and White. Then of course, later Spore.
dang
My half white/half wealthy cousin introduced me this game.. love him.. I need to reach out. I introduced him to Spore lol
We need a remake. If I had the money I'd do it ❤️🙏🏽 hey it's possible keep an eye out
Crap, now I feel like reinstalling this game
Are servers down? I can see my friends game but i cant join it says "waiting for server response" help anyone?
Port Forwarding probably. Either check the manual for required ports or use some sort of virtual LAN.
Did you just call this garbage 😭
