FOC is probably my favourite tf game simply because of how faithful HM was to the source material when making these games. It's such a shame that activision basically kneecapped them as a AAA studio by forcing them to make a rushed deadpool game and then dismantling the studio when that game ended up being a financial disaster. As for multiplayer, I did not play WFC's multiplayer when it first came out but I got seriously addicted to FOC's multiplayer back when the game was released. The controls just felt so smooth and switching back and forth between modes to traverse the maps and fight your opponents was ceaselessly entertaining. I remember begging my parents at the time to help me buy the DLCs because it gave me character models that weren't in the main game, like wheeljack, ultra magnus, the other dinobots, the insecticons, etc etc. It made customising your character extremely fun as only the upper body dictates the alt mode your character turns into, which means every other part of the character was free game to mix and match. I remember going to a small game convention (the first in my country at the time) and seeing a demo of WFC which was set to release that year, and instantly falling in love with the concept of it. I didn't play games outside of the occasional ipad game before seeing and getting to try that demo, so I owe WFC and FOC for getting me into my second favourite hobby/passion, my favourite being Transformers. Without seeing WFC being advertised and being able to try it, I don't know if I would be as big into video games as I am now. Thank you for finally covering this game, I cannot express how nostalgic this video made me feel even though I recently played the campaign again for the millionth time. It also sucks to hear that amazon has FOC in stock since it wasn't when I bought the steam key. I had to pay double the price amazon is asking for but I don't regret it one bit. This game was a love letter from HMS to the fans, and I fully blame activision for taking away the chance to get a third instalment to this series. As for continuity, WFC and FOC are in the same continuity as Prime in name only. Hasbro forced them into a single continuity without putting much thought or stock into how these stories play out. Prime only slightly works since it's based entirely on earth and uses characters that the games did not, but you'll have to squint hard and move past the personality changes of characters that were in both show and game (ratchet being a big one) and the flashbacks on cybertron not lining up with the events of the games themselves. These games were intended to be their own thing, and at most be a prequel to the G1 cartoon or a variant of G1's sequence of events, and I envision it as such in my head. The "Aligned Continuity", which is what hasbro called the continuity they retroactively created to include these games as well as Prime and other media at the time, is as misaligned as they come so I refuse to acknowledge it as such.
Thanks for letting me know more about the continuity! There's so many iterations of Transformers it's hard to keep track of everything. It makes sense that Hasbro threw the games and prime under the same umbrella for marketing reasons even if they didn't fit that well together.
So while the cybertron games and prime are both apart of the aligned continuity , that mainly means that they share mostly the same backstory, characterization and lore so that way adaptations felt similar enough that anyone can pick it up and understand. Prime actually has quite a few discrepancies from the games. Also the ending of fall is a more dramatic version of the beginning of G1.
I actually like this explanation more because I never felt felt prime was a direct sequel because prime was more of a last ditch kinda story with only a few and I mean few autobots compared to the decepticons army
In all honesty my first interaction with the Cybertron games was FoC, I didn't know War was a thing until years later. I just remember back when I found the game I found it in a pawnshop for PS3 (one of my favorite consoles despite its flaws) I was around 12. Back then I was slowly falling out of my transformers phase. I saw it and was interested and the game was what reinvigorated the franchise for me. I had put the games down for a few years until hearing the servers were shutting down then I picked the game back up. Now I'm turning 20 in a few months and Transformers is still a comfort rock in my life. I like to think that Fall and War(to a lesser degree) were the things that cemented the franchise as part of my life.
The Cybertron games have had such a profound effect on me, beyond just gaming. I have craved this level of respect for the franchise since before they came out. The IDW run and the new comics have done it, and Bumblebee during the cybertron scenes did it. Hopefully Transformers One and it's sequels can even touch these games, and bring the franchise back into the spotlight.
Would've been great to have a follow-up game detailing what happened after the ships were dumped out of the portal. I can imagine 3 scenarios: encountering Cybertronian colony worlds like in the Cybertron/Galaxy force anime, landing on prehistoric Earth to do a Beast Wars type thing or finally just doing G1 where they crash n Earth then wake up in modern day.
still prefer war for cybertron in the visuals, designs, gameplay and especially multi-player which is fantastic, but fall of cybertron's campaign is UNMATCHED. Both are just absolute fantastic games
I feel FOC has a darker tone. You have Grimlock shanking cons like they live in London. There is the whole shotgunner trap area in Prime's missions where you see a much darker area where bots died compared to WFC. The oil splatters everywhere and then the room you get to after the trap just has Autobot heads everywhere. The general moods are different too. WFC sounds like there is a lot of hope to fight for Cybertron while FOC sounds more somber because that hope is now gone because the core shut down.
I liked the three character missions it allowed for more character interactions. Shame we never got levels with the Decepticon big three together or even the bug four.
Having a darker and gritty tone does not mean it's better it's just that that you like one over the other. I hate the dark/gritty = better because that same reasoning can be used to crap on vice city for not being as dark and gritty as gta 3
They really need to bring back multiplayer... Literally one of the best online pvp gaming experiences for third person shooters and all transformers fans
Devastation is PEAK, I still play it to this day from time to time, i was lucky enough to catch it for ps plus like 7 years ago, and hace it downloaded on ps5. can’t wait to see you cover it
The combaticons are from G1 actually, in there they were robots created by starscream using old ww2 vehicles, with the purpose of helping him dethrone megatron. Bruticus was so powerful in the g1 cartoon, it led to an episode where the autobots and decepticons teamed up to defeat them
Here the thing : we don't have that many transformers games. We got a few from the movies, a few old beast war, a couple of mobile one, and few others adapted from the various animated series. And most of them are decent, but ultimately done by contractual obligation rather than genuine passion. Fall of Cybertron is one of the few that were made with passion. So its only real rival in being "the best transformers games" is Devastation and War for Cybertron. So yes, it is most likely is the best Transformer Game. Hope one day Hasbro and Takara-Tomy will let a new studio run wild.
2:48 It's too bad you can't download this game from... *other...* sources, since the game is no longer for sale... But yes on PC it plays at a nice 60FPS
I remember as a kid only playing the first chapter because I always died at the leaper portion of the 2nd chapter, it wasn’t until I saw the last chapter of the game on YT where after Bumblebee got injured, Optimus and Megatron fought I thought “hang on there’s more to this game than Optimus dying to leapers in the 2nd chapter?” Then I was motivated to get the 100% hp increase perk to help me get past the Leapers… only for when I tried to fight them again after getting the perk I beat them without getting hit
I appreciate it! I don't produce videos at a consistent or fast enough rate to really blow the channel up haha. I enjoy the way I do it though and hope I'll keep growing.
I'd argue War for Cybertron is the best because you get to choose your character. In this one you have to go with what the game gives you. Otherwise it's not bad. Could have used a few more bosses though. Just my opinion.
Hard disagree. Fall is better for that exact reason, missions were better designed because each mission is tailor made for the character you're playing
There were quite a few combination teams in g1, the autobots had a few as well. Wanted to add something else, im sure plenty of people have commented on the OC thing lol
The Dinobots were originally introduced (on screen) in g1 being built on earth by wheeljack around seseon 2 after they saw a museum with dinosaur displays. Their next actual appearance on screen is in Transformers Animated, where the allspark brought 3 animatronics to life, grimlock swoop and....snarl i believe was the triceratops name. Grimlock at least is also in 2015 rid, and in cyberverse. I dont know about the machinima or roosterteeth transformer shows if theyre in it or not. Also in 2001 RID there is an autobor named grimlock but hes not a dinosaur, but part of the autobor build team. Basically autobot constructicons that have a fun combination. The dinobots also are a main focus at the end of Transformers Age of Extinction and appear the first part of The Last Knight living in kades junk yard.
to me this is the absolute best game to ever exist , ever. this is a love letter to all transformers fans, this game really doesnt miss. i love it so much ive played it once every year since its launch, (now 14 playthroughs in).
Great vid! About the continuity stuff... Basically Hasbro was really trying to push for a ongoing continuity back in the day and tried to assemble teams to create a universe. Every show, book, game and some comics were supposed to tie into each other. But the supervision was kinda lacking and the developers of both TFP and the games said that if the story made sense if you squinted a lot, it was good to go. So basically, each developer told the story they wanted to tell and Hasbro kept telling themselves that it was all connect when everyone knew it was off. There are A LOT of inconsistensies, specially with the History of Cybertron, the Primes and how Orion Pax became Optimus. They tried to their best efforts to explain some of the plot holes, but in the end of the day, just face each thing as it's own. Either way, Transformers: Prime is a great show and while not tied-in with the game 100%, it's definetly worth checking it out for the quality alone.
Absolutely loved the multi-player in this game. Loved creating my own transformers and testing out different styles of play with each bot I built. Would love to see this game and it's multi-player return one day
I never played Fall's multiplayer, but War's custom classes felt great to customize, and the actual gameplay was exactly what you would want from that game
I really hope the release and fan success of Transformers One will cause a new game to be developed. Also I proudly own both games on PS3 and PC. Thank god I managed to get War before it became unavailable! I played them both to death on my old PS3 and I personally like War more as well. It's not that I dislike Fall I love it as well, but the lack of Coop actually made it less fun for me. I used to spend HOURS with my friends in the coop breaking out of the both story and multiplayer maps. That was def part of the fun for me.
Idk if you're going to see this, but I installed the PC versions of the games off of internet archive. probably not the safest option, but it works. War for cybertron ran at 30 fps (as it was capped) but ran smoothly without any hitches really. Fall of cybertron ran extremely well, 60 fps minimum. Some weird bugs happen like not being able to interact with anything or advance any further into a level if its required by a NPCs action. Weirdly, if you alt-tab the game seems to fix itself and you can continue playing. They weren't emulators, just the cracked steam versions of the games. I had way more fun in Fall of cybertron but war for cybertron was also really fun and memorable. the jump in quality between the two is pretty noticable.
oh another thing, wfc recognizes controller inputs but doesn't display them. made the game a little harder but once you figure out what "b" was binded to on the xbox or ps3 version it's not a big issue.
i just made a nostalgic trip of memories playing the game when i was very young. both wfc and foc are great games, i've even played transformer games in ps2 or the one based on dark of the mooon. played a lot of multiplayer too. especially foc multiplayer. such beautiful games, replayed them many times. simple great games based on a story you enjoy. nothing better to play as a kid. it's about 12 years since the last time i've played and i stiil remember the missions. suck great games. i would like to play again if i get the chance
Having had grown up with War for Cybertron and played before beating Fall of Cybertron later. I love these game wholeheartedly. They have issues but all stories have issues
Just want to say the combaticons were first in G1, Starscream made them as a play to beat megatron and usurp control but it ultimatly fails when they turn on him. Which is kinda cool that they are some of the most outwardly rebellious to Starscream in the story.
I played both games back when servers were active, and I prefer the multiplayer of FOC and the escalation of WFC. WFC multiplayer was kind of restrictive when it came to character customisation since all you could change was the paint job, unlike FOC, where you can swap out whole body parts. Otherwise, it feels the same. Escalation in FOC lets you choose a limited number of characters in specific levels. In WFC, the maps are faction based, as in one map only lets you pick Autobots and other only Decepticons. This makes FOC escalation feel a bit more difficult since each character has specific powers and you need to cooperate properly to get somewhere instead, like in WFC, where everyone just picks a character with good abilities and sits in a corner.
17:15 That was a Hasbro decision, they wanted to make series of unrelated media linked with eachothers for marketing purpose. While Transformers Prime itself is nice, it simply is just too much of a stretch to be able to link it correctly to WFC and WOC
Great video! I'd say both War and Fall are a tie for me when it comes to the best Transformers game. I think FOC had a better story, better graphics, music, character customization, and climax moments. But WFC for me has the better multiplayer and escalation. Revenge of the Fallen had an amazing multiplayer though.
WFC and FOC were my first PC games! I love them so much! My only problem with FOC was Optimus' redesign. I like his design much more in WFC! And speaking about continuity with Transformers: Prime. It's not a good idea. There are lots, LOTS of plotholes if you compare them. Starting with Sounwave and ending up with dark energon. It will be better to consider them as different universes with some similarities in details
I remember having so much fun with WFC and FOC's multiplayer back in the day. For some bizarre reason, Barricade's body parts weren't included in FOC's character creator.
Love this game. Still remember getting my PS3 version back in my uni days. Though the steam version is better performance wise bar a few bugs. A fan group has resurrected the servers. It's called the Transformers Reengerized Project. Though it's been out a year or 2 now and they've modded it a bit so it's not a true revival anymore. I abandoned it after that but may be worth checking out. The Aligned continuity follows the "squint test" as someone at Hasbro stated, the different media stories do fit together if you're not looking hard enough 😆
This is the only transformers game I've ever played, I'm glad I bought it back in the day. This game was awesome and I remember the multiplayer being super fun. I played the multiplayer all the time. I should dust off the PS3 and play through the single player again.
I feel like this is one of the last games I played before the battle “passification” of gaming that was perfect in all 3 main categories campaign, multiplayer, and special third mode. I would pay big money if they remastered both games just to get another game that is content completed and jest made with love like these were.
I loved this game sooo much, I hope we get updated figures in the gamer edition line, FOC is the best transformers game imo, I played it on the play station 3 never had issues with it, extremely fun game with the coolest designs and story, grimlock was perfect, the combaticons perfect, the Optimus and Megatron fight was amazing (This game had the better designs of Optimus and megs imo)
I might be wrong about this but Shockwave get his are bitten off and the cybertron games take place in the aligned continuity where when Shockwave appears in prime one of his arms is a massive cannon instead of a arm. I think their might be a connection
The cybertron games are among my all time favorite games with marvels ultimate alliance, burnout 3, and kingdom hearts 2 Im hearing rumors that xbox is planning on releasing 2 transformer games, supposedly both of the cybertron games Im soooo looking forward to playing those games again for old times sake if the rumors r true Thank you for your coverage of these amazing games from my childhood ❤️
@VirtualLegacy I'll definitely be looking forward to that I personally didn't really care for 3 and 2 was ok ig Don't remember it too much But the 1st was incredible Best avengers game so far in my opinion
I feel like I should mention that both these games' online services are down, and the titles are now considered abandonware This means if you really wanna play them, you can go find them on archive websites easily Unfortunately, there isn't a way to support the original PC release without these archives. developers as high moon shut down shortly after this title
Fall of Cybertron was an absolute blast to play. I definitely would say its the best Trasnformers game I've ever played. I don't remember having any issues with performance when I played, but I had an XBox 360 Slim and it was about a decade ago that I played consistently. The campaign was amazing and multiplayer was a blast, I remember really loving capture the flag because I was very good at it. I would love to see a third installment that is an actual sequel, I really don't think transformers Prime or the Live action series are a good follow through for these games and they have so much more value to potentially bring to the table.
FoC is one of my favourite games ever just in general never mind in the transformers series, wfc is definitely second place but still FoC was a masterpiece
It’s weird that in a a lot of videos I am seeing recently, a lot of people are mentioning frame drops. I don’t seem to remember this at all when I was younger, or is that akin to the 360 being so old now?
@@VirtualLegacy this could be it. I’ve always been hyper aware of details, even as a child but it has been many years since I’ve tried playing. Might break out the 360 this weekend and see if I notice any stutters/skips
I had no idea there was a Dark of the Moon game. I honestly thought High Moon went from War to Fall. Guess it goes to show just how little that game mattered.
I do love FOC. However, I’m not going to lie I prefer WFC way more. I love the fact I can choose who I want to play, and I love being able to have a team even if it’s only NPC’s. I don’t feel alone when I’m playing. I will say the missions in FOC and the fun upgrade system is really fun which I do like more, but at the same time I love the gun variety in WFC. The combiners and dinobots were the highlight for me. That being said I also found Grimlocks mission to drag on a bit to long. Overall I get why people prefer this one, but for me WFC takes the win. Also, multiplayer has Arcee. Who is my favorite transformer otherwise if they had more female customizations I’d definitely prefer multiplayer in FOC.
I recently logged onto my transformers fall of Cybertron after i booted up my ps3 and i had 300k energon with EVERYTHING unlocked I was like 6 or 7 when i played it
I love War for Cyberton, and perfer it to this one, in almost every way........almost......One thing that Fall of Cybertron did notably better was it's multiplayer. Not that WFC's multiplayer was bad, but it simply didn't hold my attention for any substantial amount of time, I would always return to WFC's campaign. But FoC's multiplayer........was just so addicting. I can't remember the specific differences between them.....only that I have since DESPERATLY felt the urge to play FoC's multiplayer again, and was deeply saddened when I found it wasn't available on steam (though thanks for letting me know about the amazon thing, i'll look into that atleast). if there was a game with the co-op WFC gameplay loop, and FoC's multiplayer experience, i'd easily nolife it for years.
I just wish more than anything that High Moon Studios gets another crack at, well anything. They've been on the backburner for COD all these years and they're honestly being wasted. These are talented people who deserve another chance.
in short yes absolutely not just the best transformers game out there but i’d say one of the best games ever for its time it was perfect and my childhood actually my first love pls come back
Okay, I'm not sure if anyone's said this, but the "Aligned" Continuity is not very aligned as it claims to be. There are so many issues and inconsistencies with it. For example, 2015's Robots in Disguised (RID) has Grimlock and Sideswipe in it. Now, at first, you might think "oh, that doesn't sound that bad, it's just those two returning." Well, that's actually quite wrong, as these two are NOT the same ones we see in both War For Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, especially for Grimlock, as he starts off as a Decepticon in that series. Again, the whole Aligned Continuity is so messy that this is only one of MANY issues with it
FOC's Campaign portion was good. But the Multiplayer parts were a step down from WFC. And trying to make people pay for characters and maps that were already a part of the game was the ultimate dealbreaker. Remaking War For Cybertron would be cool though since that's the only PS3 game I still play.
PC FPS is still locked, and unusually too. Reportedly its "60 fps" but if it is it sure doesn't feel like it. Some physics are FPS based so going beyond can cause issues though there are easy methods to unlock the fps. I choose 90 and it's generally pinned there and the gameplay and shooting feel incredible as a result (except for a few vehicle parts getting funky with mouse control)
Yea the ending pretty much go into transformers prime for example you don't see much of cliffjumper after his chapter since it continues in prime and the show even make mention to the ark and the events of the game by one of characters saying a bunch of autobots were on the ark with Optimus this obviously includes Bee and Rachet who are part of the main cast along with Optimus himself
I always heard that these 2 games were intended to be prequels to G1, but Hasbro made them shoehorn them into TF Prime prequels. As much as I love TF Prime, I don't consider these games canon. To me, they are their own canon meant to lead into G1-esque adventures and a spiritual prequel to G1.
Yeah... The whole "Bumblebee can't speak" came out of nowhere because we don't see his voice chip getting crushed in WFC or FOC. I feel it would have been more interesting if we got to see a scene of Bumblebee getting captured by cons and then tortured until the Autobots save him.
@@Grimm196 there's also the fact the writers of tf prime didn't want their show to be associated with the games thus leading to prime making "light nods" to the games but those "light nods" would further separate prime from the games in terms of canon
Do you own both games? I owned both of them on my ps3 long ago, even bought the FOC ps4 "remaster" when it briefly came out on the ps store. I recently (a few months back) bought a steam key for FOC but I can't seem to find one for WFC for a decent price. At this point I have to pirate the game if I wish to play it but I don't know where to start
I own both of the games physically for my Xbox 360. They don't play on the newer Xbox consoles. I'm hoping since MS owns Activision this game will get some backwards support with higher FPS and resolution. It's probably just wishful thinking though as the license has expired.
Let me know what your favorite Transformers game is. It seems like a toss up between Fall and War for most people.
Hard decision for sure. Devastation also makes it a hard decision. Each of these game have too good of a soundtrack
Transformers Dark Of The Moon PS3/Xbox 360 version.
Fall of cybertron
Devastation
why don't you just get a torrent to play it on pc and use the fps unlocker mod to unlock the fps?
Some of those button prompts were truly something. "Press R3 to shut Starscream up" is what I believe Megatron has canonically burned in his retinas.
It's peak comedy.

Having a darker and gritty tone does not mean it's better it's just that that you like one over the other. I hate the dark/gritty = better because that same reasoning can be used to crap on vice city for not being as dark and gritty as gta 3
@@CayeDaws That's why I said "I think" because it's my opinion lol. FoC is good too but I prefer WFC
@@SadiesF ah okay sorry dude.
They really need to bring back multiplayer... Literally one of the best online pvp gaming experiences for third person shooters and all transformers fans
I loved using the G1 Optimus and the Dinobots DLC for multiplayer. Good times.
Devastation is PEAK, I still play it to this day from time to time, i was lucky enough to catch it for ps plus like 7 years ago, and hace it downloaded on ps5.
can’t wait to see you cover it
I absolutely love Bayonetta and DMC so I think it's gonna be right up my alley.
The combaticons are from G1 actually, in there they were robots created by starscream using old ww2 vehicles, with the purpose of helping him dethrone megatron. Bruticus was so powerful in the g1 cartoon, it led to an episode where the autobots and decepticons teamed up to defeat them
Loved War for Cybertron's multiplayer. Felt like the inspiration for a lot of mech games.
This game kicks SO MUCH ass, and I was jumping out of my chair watching Metroplex just beat the living shit out of Megatron. Good stuff.
I loved fall of cybertron one of my favorite childhood games
multiplayer was big i loved it this was what got me into gaming
I remember as a kid only playing the first chapter because I always died at the leaper portion of the 2nd chapter, it wasn’t until I saw the last chapter of the game on YT where after Bumblebee got injured, Optimus and Megatron fought I thought “hang on there’s more to this game than Optimus dying to leapers in the 2nd chapter?” Then I was motivated to get the 100% hp increase perk to help me get past the Leapers… only for when I tried to fight them again after getting the perk I beat them without getting hit
Your videos are so good, this content is so good I can't believe you're only at 5k subs. 💯🔥
Summer of 2012 was a year to remember and a great year got this game on launch day and played this for hours and hours and hours good times
having played war and fall single player and multiplayer fall definitely had the better multiplayer, used to play it for ages without getting bored
Great video on the best TF game, really enjoyed your perspective on the Combaticon segments.
to me this is the absolute best game to ever exist , ever. this is a love letter to all transformers fans, this game really doesnt miss. i love it so much ive played it once every year since its launch, (now 14 playthroughs in).
The Aligned Continuity was the Golden Age of Transformers content.
Anyone here just to appreciate the campaign and it’s messages storytelling and set pieces
This was great! Do you share your tier list anywhere outside of having to watch the videos!
I currently don't, but I could post a link on my page if you're interested!
3:00 I'm surprised I never noticed that there were perks to improve the characters, I just used the store for getting weapons 😮
1000th like for u my brotha 💯
“Greetings Orion Pax-ERERERERER-Optimus Prime” teletran
i just made a nostalgic trip of memories playing the game when i was very young. both wfc and foc are great games, i've even played transformer games in ps2 or the one based on dark of the mooon. played a lot of multiplayer too. especially foc multiplayer. such beautiful games, replayed them many times. simple great games based on a story you enjoy. nothing better to play as a kid. it's about 12 years since the last time i've played and i stiil remember the missions. suck great games. i would like to play again if i get the chance
War for cybertron was such a good game it's insane
WFC and FOC were my first PC games! I love them so much! My only problem with FOC was Optimus' redesign. I like his design much more in WFC!
And speaking about continuity with Transformers: Prime. It's not a good idea. There are lots, LOTS of plotholes if you compare them. Starting with Sounwave and ending up with dark energon. It will be better to consider them as different universes with some similarities in details
I remember having so much fun with WFC and FOC's multiplayer back in the day. For some bizarre reason, Barricade's body parts weren't included in FOC's character creator.
probably since they didn't have the time to put them in
@@Grimm196 They had every other character, including the dlc characters, and barring the two fembots. Barricade not being there is just weird
@@shagohad3 They most likely didn't get the time to or they didn't like it enough to keep it. IDK
War for cybertron maps with fall characters would be lit
I loved this game sooo much, I hope we get updated figures in the gamer edition line, FOC is the best transformers game imo, I played it on the play station 3 never had issues with it, extremely fun game with the coolest designs and story, grimlock was perfect, the combaticons perfect, the Optimus and Megatron fight was amazing
(This game had the better designs of Optimus and megs imo)
I might be wrong about this but Shockwave get his are bitten off and the cybertron games take place in the aligned continuity where when Shockwave appears in prime one of his arms is a massive cannon instead of a arm. I think their might be a connection
I would argue that it is one of the best games of all time in terms of shooters.
The cybertron games are among my all time favorite games with marvels ultimate alliance, burnout 3, and kingdom hearts 2
Im hearing rumors that xbox is planning on releasing 2 transformer games, supposedly both of the cybertron games
Im soooo looking forward to playing those games again for old times sake if the rumors r true
Thank you for your coverage of these amazing games from my childhood ❤️
I'll be covering all of the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games down the line too!
@VirtualLegacy I'll definitely be looking forward to that
I personally didn't really care for 3 and 2 was ok ig
Don't remember it too much
But the 1st was incredible
Best avengers game so far in my opinion
I feel like I should mention that both these games' online services are down, and the titles are now considered abandonware
This means if you really wanna play them, you can go find them on archive websites easily
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to support the original PC release without these archives. developers as high moon shut down shortly after this title
Great vid
I've taken apart my 360 cleaned it out and repasted it. It's probably that you weren't as sensitive to it at the time.
@@VirtualLegacy this could be it. I’ve always been hyper aware of details, even as a child but it has been many years since I’ve tried playing. Might break out the 360 this weekend and see if I notice any stutters/skips
I loved that game.Needs to be remastered.
I’ll never forget the sacrifice metroplex made
Yes! I played the multiplayer until it died out. Only game I 100%-ed. Besides the first game. Classes were fun, I usually played Scientist.
War For Cybertron was the best. The vehicle abilities in multiplayer was amazing
I had no idea there was a Dark of the Moon game. I honestly thought High Moon went from War to Fall. Guess it goes to show just how little that game mattered.
This, War of Cybertron, and Deadpool, were some of the best 3rd person shooters I’ve played.
I recently logged onto my transformers fall of Cybertron after i booted up my ps3 and i had 300k energon with EVERYTHING unlocked
I was like 6 or 7 when i played it
hey man i played the fall of cybertron multiplayer when it came out as a kid and it was sooo fun, combat felt halo and doomish
Its a crime this game isn't available in Steam
I love War for Cyberton, and perfer it to this one, in almost every way........almost......One thing that Fall of Cybertron did notably better was it's multiplayer. Not that WFC's multiplayer was bad, but it simply didn't hold my attention for any substantial amount of time, I would always return to WFC's campaign. But FoC's multiplayer........was just so addicting. I can't remember the specific differences between them.....only that I have since DESPERATLY felt the urge to play FoC's multiplayer again, and was deeply saddened when I found it wasn't available on steam (though thanks for letting me know about the amazon thing, i'll look into that atleast). if there was a game with the co-op WFC gameplay loop, and FoC's multiplayer experience, i'd easily nolife it for years.
such a shame that this game died so soon.. I loved the story mode and the multiplayer combat.. it was awesome..
Again, the whole Aligned Continuity is so messy that this is only one of MANY issues with it
This game is so nostalgic for me
you're indeed right that tf prime is continuity of fall of cybertron
Transformers war for Cybertron and fall of Cybertron are 2 movies or series I actually want
I love fall of cybertron its really awesome and badass in my opinion
FOC's Campaign portion was good. But the Multiplayer parts were a step down from WFC. And trying to make people pay for characters and maps that were already a part of the game was the ultimate dealbreaker.
Remaking War For Cybertron would be cool though since that's the only PS3 game I still play.
11:45 your research was wrong. Bruticus is an OG character from the cartoon
I miss this era of gaming
PC FPS is still locked, and unusually too. Reportedly its "60 fps" but if it is it sure doesn't feel like it. Some physics are FPS based so going beyond can cause issues though there are easy methods to unlock the fps. I choose 90 and it's generally pinned there and the gameplay and shooting feel incredible as a result (except for a few vehicle parts getting funky with mouse control)
Please just let High Moon make a proper third installment to this trilogy
i got super excited when you said i could still buy the game on amazon so i went to check and you cant anymore
