There is a single feat that both Zoro and Mihawk did in the series and have in common: the gigantic slash Zoro did to Pica and the slice of the frozen tsunami Mihawk did at marineford. Those two are basically the same feat that both characters have, but there is a little difference: In Zoro case not only he needed to be launched by somebody else (so basically he needed to get very close to the target to perform the slash), but he was a big named attack that required a little bit of charge. On the other hand Mihawk did the same thing but swinging his sword randomly (and WAAAAY far from the wave) in about half a second without saying a name for his attack. So yeah, this two feats can clearly tell the difference between Zoro when he was in dressrosa and Mihawk when he was in marineford.
to be fair, zoro has gotten significantly stronger than he was at dressrosa. certainly not enough that he could do what he did back then with a single casual swing of his sword, but he has gotten stronger.

I love that you used their feats as the comparative. A characters accomplishments in One Piece is one of the most clear indications of their potential. Oda does such a good job of showcasing strength without exhibiting actual combat. Great video sir
Shanks and Mihawk are 1 and 2, luffy will become king of the pirates and Zoro will be greatest swordsmen. End of the story luffy will be Pirate king and zoro will only be second to luffy..

One of my favourite little scenarios is all of the straw hats go back to the start of the story with their current strength and looks. I think the interaction with mihawk at Baratie would be a lot different. It would be funny to see mihawk not only reactions to Zoro’s strength but also Sanji and especially Luffys strength.
haha new game + would kinda ruin the whole point of the show, none of them would have to really work for anything it would be practically handed to them but yea it is a good scenario. One that the new game kinda tackles in a way. If they went back with knowledge and not strength would it even be the same ending? Would luffy be able to actually save Ace knowing the final outcome? Would whitebeard still be alive? Would they actually be able to prevent anyone from dying for that matter.
Zoro would know what attacks Mihawk would have and be able to dodge/block them to a point. Eventually Zoro would still lose given that while he has the knowledge his body would not be at the point to utilize those skill. I could see him trying to use Santōryū Ōgi: Ichidai Sanzen Daisen Sekai but that being what hands him the loss, his blades still breaking leaving him with the single blade he had at that point. However changing Mihawks mind a bit, as the cut would not be as brutal as it was before. Mihawk making a note of his strength and not wanting to waste that potential, given that he trains Zoro during the time-skip, it would align with that decision.
Love the " what if" kinda video going back to past Arc's... More so I like the character development perspectives over the obvious power increases when reflecting on how they've grown
I would argue that the devil fruit combi from Kid and Law, was too perfect for defeating Big Mom. Law op abilities and kid magnetism fruit was a much better duo than if Luffy was there. If Law didn't use the attack r room to cancel noise from outside, they would have a higher chance of losing than winning.

They even arguably had a terrain advantage since big mom could hardly move freely and juz kept getting hit left and right by law and kid spamming the hell out of their df. The final blow wasn't even done by them as you said, it was a literal ring out, the.bombs took her out by launching her to the lava. In a fair 1v1 they wouldn't be able to do what they did to bigmom especially law since he is more of a support type. And both kid and law have mid haki unlike zoro

I'm not the biggest fan of Green Bull, but didn't he say that he's not ready to fight Shanks' whole crew, not just Shanks. That's quite a big difference. And he even said "At least not now" at the end. I don't know why people seem to forget that part of Green Bull's statement to make it seem that Shanks is on a completely different level than him. I think he'd still put up a good fight against Shanks even though he'd lose.
I have a big argument to say that 1 yonko crew=marin White beard went to marinford to rescue ace so he belived that he could win and obv wb knows about power so we can trust him and if 1yonko=1 admirals this wouldnt make sens because it would mean 3 wb vs 1 wb so no chance of wining there and if 2 admirals= 1 yonko marinford actualy makes sense also when kizaru met reighley at sabaody he said that he couldnt beat him and he needed to come back with a plan and reighley was staded to be yonko lvl however he was old so weaker and we know that the admirals are all similar in strengh

Thank you for pointing out Zoro's wins on roof piece. A lot of fans don't realize he was the second most dangerous person amongst the supernova after Luffy. He was the only one Kaido and Big Mom acknowledged. If he was actually a captain and wanted to be the Pirate King, I think he would be Luffy's biggest rival
Law and Kid were destroying big mom, yes zoro was able to injure kaido, but I don’t think he’s stronger than law, maybe kid. Law was carrying in the big mom fight, solo’s the black beard pirates by himself for a bit. And zoros fight with king was with him getting a complete reset. They stated it quite explicitly that zoro wasn’t held back in that fight.

When zoro finished his training with mihawk its stated that mihawk was many many leagues ahead of him. Now in saying that I can definitely see zoro being closer during wano but definitely still off by alot. During the next 200 chapters I can see him catching up and surpassing mihawk
Zoro isn't at Mihawks level as of now. By the end of the story he will be strong enough but right now we have a Mihawk who casually does similar feats to Zoro without even using named attacks. Maybe he uses a slightly longer toothpick for current Zoro...

Interesting breakdown on the affect on Luffy and the crew if Zoro was so strong early in the series. Much more engaging as a video compared to only talking about whether Zoro can defeat Mihawk.
At this point mihawk still on shanks level so his basically yonko level still doubt zoro could beat him but will be a very close fight mihawk may still let him live to challenge him again

Kidd and Law did also put in work on the Rooftop, but they were also planning cuz they knew that they couldn’t beat them together. Zoro is only able to pull of Asura because of the plan they put together. Killer also put in work but it’s never highlighted that he also disarmed Big Mom and speed blitzed both Yonko
I know its not cannon, but the difference displayed in Stampede is satisfactory for me. Zoro flies up, does a named attack, and splits a meteor in half. Thats badass, but he didnt stop the meteor completely. Suddenly, a gust of wind followed by a blast of sword-driven haki hits the meteor and turns it into rubble. I believe, even though not canon, this is still an accurate representation of their skill level differences. Zoro is top 10 swordsmen, maybe even top 5(living), but Mihawk is Top 2(with shanks) and thats the difference.
for all we know zoro could have gotten lost in the fabric of time and has probably already done this on multiple occasions, and he loses his scar when he travels back, but has the downside of having to feel the pain of the cut as long as he is in the past, and it returns to the same state as before he travelled back in time. This might have been how zoro has been secretly getting stronger between arcs.
I dont think Zoro would leave the crew or take a warlord position that has him leave, only for the fact that Zoro's loyalty is too high. He would NEVER abandon his captain, BUT he would FORCE Luffy to train, and become the Luffy he knows from the future.
yea i mean look back at fishman island, after luffy used conq haki and knocked out 50k of em, zoro said "if luffy was any weaker he would have to step down" meaning zoro would still be apart of the crew, just as captain
I think Zoro in his King fight he might be a threat, using reliably advanced Haki, but with just normal Haki and Enma I still don't think he stands a chance. Plus he can hardly used the advanced technique because of how much it drains his Haki. There's also a relatively newer movie or something but in it he and Fujitora confront each other again and Fujitora tries to drop a meteor on him and others to let himself get away. I think this was in one piece film stampede, but in it he has Enma and Haki and takes place after Wano. Zoro manages to cut the meteor in half but realizes it didn't damage it enough to save anyone, prepares to cut it again, but out of nowhere it gets diced into a bunch of small pieces and scene shifts to show Mihawk and Perona and Perona is freaking out saying, "Warn me next time before you do something like that!" As he did it so quick his sword is already back on his back and he's staring at Zoro. So yeah, even after beating King and getting Enma, using advanced Haki, Mihawk is still in a class of his own. I think advanced Haki could hurt Mihawk if it landed but I don't see Mihawk being hit by it at this level yet.
Law cuts Kin'emon. After Kin'emon arrived on the island in search of Momonosuke, he started cutting down Caesar's subordinates whom he believed were holding his "son", prompting them to make a distress call that Luffy answered, which was intercepted by Smoker. Then after Smoker was defeated by Vergo, Vergo was in full iron body mode and Law sliced not only him in half and the entire building but the entire surrounding mountain outside like it was butter. A bloody mountain. He was only aiming for Vergo and he slices through the whole building and a freakin mountain. That was in Punk Hazard. He’s much stronger now. Zoro has only reached now at the end of Wano what Law was doing in Punk Hazard. Now that Law has awakened his fruit he as an absolute Monster. I think a lot of people underestimate Law. I believe that Law, Kid and Luffy are on an equal level and that’s why they were each given a 3 billion berry bounty as Oda’s way of emphasising that. I know people might say that it took Law and Kid to take down big mom but remember they also had a go at Kaido too as well as Killer, the scabbards, Yamato and others before Luffy took him down. It was like 15 against Kaido and 2 against big mom. Actually a few of the Strawhats had a go at big mom too before hand like Nami, Zeus, Chopper, Franky, and Usopp so I stand corrected. About 15 against Kaido and 7 against Big Mom. Now Law is going up against Blackbeard and some of Blackbeards pirates without even recovering from his Big Mom fight shows how much of an absolute beast that Law is.
Law cutting apart mountains is a devil fruit feat, without it he could never do something on that level, with just haki and strength Zoro can. Law is not that impressive of a swordsman.

Btw, there’s 9 red scabbards in which 8 of them fought Kaido, Zoro, Killer, Kid, Law, Yamato and Luffy, attacked him at one stage or another. Even Momonosuke hit him. That’s 15 so far so yeah my maths was a little off. They all took a crack at him so no one can say it was just Luffy by himself. Even Big Mom had Chopper, Usopp, Nami, Zeus, Franky, Law and Kid all attack her at one point or another to take her down.
Havnt watched yet, but if Zoro’s strength was like current Zoro and he got stronger throughout the series, then by the latest manga chapter Zoro could probably clash or even give Mihawk a scar.

The major issue all of the Admirals have is that from what I can tell, it seems like conquers hockey at bare minimum is something generated by one's will to achieve a goal of conquering something which for Luffy is Conquering the sea and becoming the freest man in the world and for Zoro is Conquering all other Swordsmen and becoming the world's greatest Swordsman and to think of a marine having conquering Ambitions like that is a bit out there with the most I could imagine is having the ambition to conquer all Pirates but even then there's still plenty of things that would like to get in the way of any conqueror Ambitions like that with most of all is the fact that all admirals still are nothing more than the dogs of the Celestial Dragons. Basically it's damn near impossible in my eyes for an admiral to really match an emperor unless they gave up a lot of what it means to be an admiral as well as flat out just left the Navy because for as long as they're going to be subservient to the celestial dragons completely and utterly, you can't really say that they can actually match the top fear cuz they likely won't ever have access to conquerors
I keep saying I'll always put the person with better conquerors over the non conquerors user. It's just such a power gap that you almost have to have a highly destructive devil fruit with some good haki to barely keep up

Greenbull, a new Admiral, low diffed a YC1 and 2 after they both picked a fight with him. Zoro is getting mid diffed by an Admiral if we’re being generous.
Mans defeated like 3 supernova in wano, made kaido dodge one of his named attacks, tanked a named combo attack from two Yonkou, then went on to scar Kaido for the first time in many years and traded a few blows with him one on one with 30 broken bones, (bear in mind this is all before his King of Hell advanced conquerors powerup) and finally went on to defeat a Yonkou right hand... Taking all of this into consideration and the fact that he might have even received another offscreen buff or powerup (the whole grim reaper thing), I think its more than fair to say hes admiral level at this point.
I suspect that zoro before wano was a little lower than 3rd commander level (i would say that is where luffy was at the time he faced guys like doffy and cracker)
Mihawk’s epithet is the clairvoyant which means he has specialty in observation more so than katakuri and even yasop which allows him to still use observation haki against shanks who is the killer of observation haki. This is shown in marineford where he was the only one who noticed that shanks was there before he blocked akainu. With zoro being specialized in armament he would probably loose on that alone. Many people just think that you need armament and conquers to fight but observation while not used in attack directly is nessasary just like any other haki is. When luffy was fighting kaido he was barely able to dodge a possibility lethal attack with his future sight. In zoro vs mihawk it would still be very close since speed and observation are 2 different things but I think we can rule out zoro winning at his current strength and haki.
I am confused on how admirals can be elite anymore to be honest. Conqueror's coating is like ESSENTIAL! As Oda has been trying to weaken DF impact by adding haki details, the question on how admirals are elite starts to become more pressing.
That’s not true. That statement was invalidated by Luffy vs Kaido and BM vs Kid and Law. All 3 of them had to awaken their devil fruits to defeat their opponents and Luffy was not able to finish the job with conq coating alone and had to depend on G5

Shanks made an admiral run due to Conqueror's. This "invalidation" you speak of is just your head cannon. Conquering King's is why Roger, a non-DF user, ruled the seas. Awakening is an after-thought power. Kidd and Law beat Big Mom in part due to awakening, but mostly because they 2 v 1'd her.

I think the admirals are above first commander level but the reason they aren't yonkou level is exactly because they don't have THE MOST ESSENTIAL POWER in the sotry. Fleet admiral probably has it though so the Marines likely are stronger tahn any individual pirate crew / yonkou crew theoretically. But yeah as haki continues to outclass DF powers, the admirals will become weaker and weaker. Only chance they are relevant in the end of series is if they improve with tech or something else. Zoro has attacks that can injure yonko right now, thanks to Conqueror's. It's weird to think, but he likely is between 1st commander and admiral, so he would be a threat to the admirals currently. Kizaru vs Sanji, Zoro vs Fujitora, etc. You can see the current crew defeating the admirals if matched up right. They'd have to grow during the fight of course, but it is plausible. I have to accept that admirals aren't top tier. After that the series at the moment makes a lot more sense. Whitebeard not being able to use Conqueror's because he was sick and old also means he was likely the weakest emperor. A random stab wouldn't have hurt Big Mom or Kaidou as it was a requirement to have Conqueror's just ot hurt them. (Law bypassed this with his DF, which probably shouldn't have been possible considering how haki should have replled his ability even if theoretically it went past the haki. . .)
I’ll give them benefit of doubt in that they haven’t had their time to shine. That time will come and there’s no way they’ll just be bums that get wiped. So they’re still elite imo, but stocks are going down!
@@DarkflameEmperor You’re juggling between multiple points. Mainly because your inital statement that “Admirals are not elite” is very vague and depends on your definition of elite. Imo Yonko > Admirals from what we have seen so far but I also think once you’ve reached admiral level, you can fight anyone in the verse fairly in a 1v1. Difference is pirates can fight without any care whereas admirals like Greenbull has to think about the repercussions for disobeying a direct order from Akainu to not engage in any fight much less take on two yonko crew at the same time. Another point to add is most of the admirals are pre-timeskip characters.. so we don’t know their full potential in terms of awakening or haki. So in conclusion.. I think once you get to a level where you can solo any powerful opponent in the verse, you belong in the elite category
I love him Zoro too, but he was completely done after roof piece and needed Law’s help for most his feats during roof piece. while kid and law went on to take down an OG yonko after. I got zoro Slightly behind Law and Kid not by much though.
You d riding, he cut kaido on two diff occasions without law help (ashura and dragon twister) only thing law supported him in was getting away from the double yonko attack (after blocking alone)

Green Bull didn't think he could lose to anyone; including Yamato; this after he no diffed King and Queen. Yamato was fighting on par with Kaido. So how can an Admiral not be on par with a Yonko? Especially since Luffy and Buggy are Yonko now.

The battle with king and queen is a big debate. They were in udon so logicality they have to be cuffed with sea stone. As for the fight against yamato and the others momo told them not to fight and he would attack instead since he is the ruler of wano.

I certainly disagree that Zoro is stronger than Kuzan. I would also say that the gap between Law, Kidd and Zoro is likely very small. I doubt that Zoro, Law or Kidd could beat and of the original three admirals at their current power. Greenbull and Fujitora probably yeah.

Zoro would probably be lucky to beat Greenbull. I think he would mid-dif lose to Kizaru, and Akainu rolls him. Crocodile is probably at Doflamingo's level now. Older characters are getting powerups, as Lucci is proabably Zoro's level now.
Curent Zoro would pose a challenge to Mihawk but it`s pretty obvious that he would lose. Mihawk is his final opponent after all and we are not in the finale yet.

Untill i read the manga i always believed that luffy was slightly ahead of zoro, but after wano my opinions have kinda changed. As ryogukyo showed, admirals are far above yonko commanders, and yonko are on par with admirals, so if we were to beleive that luffy is yonko and or admiral lvl and zoro is yonko commander lvl or slightly higher due to his fight with king, luffy should be able to one shot zoro in gear 5. I saw someone say that zoro was similar to base acoc luffy, which makes alot of sense to me. Og course that's only taking the king fight into account, so im not sure.
Mihawk wouldn't have been able to use the dinky knife he used to slap up zoro before, if he did Zoro would overpower and defeat him around low-mid diff. However, he definitely won't be capable of defeating Mihawk and Mihawk will indeed have to draw his Supreme blade to defeat zoro, But don't mistake me, Zoro WILL Lose to Mihawk even currently. The gap has been significantly closed and If Mihawk wants to defeat Zoro he will have to take him seriously and fight all out to win but still he WILL Win. Zoro's fight with Kaido on the rooftop is a good representation of how he'd do against a Yonko level Pirate like Mihawk, Zoro would do well against Mihawk and would impress him far further than East blue zoro did and maybe that Level of Power would lead Mihawk to train zoro then and there and lead zoro to be FAR stronger than he currently would be, But Zoro simply isn't at the peak of power the Emperors And their Rivals are sitting at quite yet.
No. If current Zoro was at baratie, Mihawk would actually use his full strength and kill him, because he would think Zoro is already at his peak and there is no need to wait for a sapling to grow.

unrelated but Onimaru not showing up for the raid and in post-Wano was disappointing tbh. He was more of an interesting character than some of the Red Scabbards. I hate how almost all plot points relating to Zoro got dropped in Wano. Instead all the screentime got wasted on Yamato for nothing.

There is a single feat that both Zoro and Mihawk did in the series and have in common: the gigantic slash Zoro did to Pica and the slice of the frozen tsunami Mihawk did at marineford.
Those two are basically the same feat that both characters have, but there is a little difference:
In Zoro case not only he needed to be launched by somebody else (so basically he needed to get very close to the target to perform the slash), but he was a big named attack that required a little bit of charge.
On the other hand Mihawk did the same thing but swinging his sword randomly (and WAAAAY far from the wave) in about half a second without saying a name for his attack.
So yeah, this two feats can clearly tell the difference between Zoro when he was in dressrosa and Mihawk when he was in marineford.
to be fair, zoro has gotten significantly stronger than he was at dressrosa. certainly not enough that he could do what he did back then with a single casual swing of his sword, but he has gotten stronger.

I love that you used their feats as the comparative. A characters accomplishments in One Piece is one of the most clear indications of their potential. Oda does such a good job of showcasing strength without exhibiting actual combat.

Shanks and Mihawk are 1 and 2, luffy will become king of the pirates and Zoro will be greatest swordsmen. End of the story luffy will be Pirate king and zoro will only be second to luffy..

One of my favourite little scenarios is all of the straw hats go back to the start of the story with their current strength and looks. I think the interaction with mihawk at Baratie would be a lot different. It would be funny to see mihawk not only reactions to Zoro’s strength but also Sanji and especially Luffys strength.
haha new game + would kinda ruin the whole point of the show, none of them would have to really work for anything it would be practically handed to them but yea it is a good scenario. One that the new game kinda tackles in a way. If they went back with knowledge and not strength would it even be the same ending? Would luffy be able to actually save Ace knowing the final outcome? Would whitebeard still be alive? Would they actually be able to prevent anyone from dying for that matter.
But mihawk could kill zoro because,mihawk will take it siriously not like mihawk just playing him around back in baratie(my opinion)
Zoro would know what attacks Mihawk would have and be able to dodge/block them to a point. Eventually Zoro would still lose given that while he has the knowledge his body would not be at the point to utilize those skill. I could see him trying to use Santōryū Ōgi: Ichidai Sanzen Daisen Sekai but that being what hands him the loss, his blades still breaking leaving him with the single blade he had at that point. However changing Mihawks mind a bit, as the cut would not be as brutal as it was before. Mihawk making a note of his strength and not wanting to waste that potential, given that he trains Zoro during the time-skip, it would align with that decision.

I would argue that the devil fruit combi from Kid and Law, was too perfect for defeating Big Mom.
Law op abilities and kid magnetism fruit was a much better duo than if Luffy was there.
If Law didn't use the attack r room to cancel noise from outside, they would have a higher chance of losing than winning.

They even arguably had a terrain advantage since big mom could hardly move freely and juz kept getting hit left and right by law and kid spamming the hell out of their df. The final blow wasn't even done by them as you said, it was a literal ring out, the.bombs took her out by launching her to the lava. In a fair 1v1 they wouldn't be able to do what they did to bigmom especially law since he is more of a support type. And both kid and law have mid haki unlike zoro

I'm not the biggest fan of Green Bull, but didn't he say that he's not ready to fight Shanks' whole crew, not just Shanks. That's quite a big difference. And he even said "At least not now" at the end. I don't know why people seem to forget that part of Green Bull's statement to make it seem that Shanks is on a completely different level than him. I think he'd still put up a good fight against Shanks even though he'd lose.

I have a big argument to say that 1 yonko crew=marin

Thank you for pointing out Zoro's wins on roof piece. A lot of fans don't realize he was the second most dangerous person amongst the supernova after Luffy. He was the only one Kaido and Big Mom acknowledged. If he was actually a captain and wanted to be the Pirate King, I think he would be Luffy's biggest rival
Law and Kid were destroying big mom, yes zoro was able to injure kaido, but I don’t think he’s stronger than law, maybe kid. Law was carrying in the big mom fight, solo’s the black beard pirates by himself for a bit. And zoros fight with king was with him getting a complete reset. They stated it quite explicitly that zoro wasn’t held back in that fight.

When zoro finished his training with mihawk its stated that mihawk was many many leagues ahead of him. Now in saying that I can definitely see zoro being closer during wano but definitely still off by alot. During the next 200 chapters I can see him catching up and surpassing mihawk

Kidd and Law did also put in work on the Rooftop, but they were also planning cuz they knew that they couldn’t beat them together. Zoro is only able to pull of Asura because of the plan they put together. Killer also put in work but it’s never highlighted that he also disarmed Big Mom and speed blitzed both Yonko
I know its not cannon, but the difference displayed in Stampede is satisfactory for me. Zoro flies up, does a named attack, and splits a meteor in half. Thats badass, but he didnt stop the meteor completely. Suddenly, a gust of wind followed by a blast of sword-driven haki hits the meteor and turns it into rubble. I believe, even though not canon, this is still an accurate representation of their skill level differences. Zoro is top 10 swordsmen, maybe even top 5(living), but Mihawk is Top 2(with shanks) and thats the difference.
Current Zoro gets so lost he goes back in time
for all we know zoro could have gotten lost in the fabric of time and has probably already done this on multiple occasions, and he loses his scar when he travels back, but has the downside of having to feel the pain of the cut as long as he is in the past, and it returns to the same state as before he travelled back in time. This might have been how zoro has been secretly getting stronger between arcs.

I dont think Zoro would leave the crew or take a warlord position that has him leave, only for the fact that Zoro's loyalty is too high. He would NEVER abandon his captain, BUT he would FORCE Luffy to train, and become the Luffy he knows from the future.

I think Zoro in his King fight he might be a threat, using reliably advanced Haki, but with just normal Haki and Enma I still don't think he stands a chance. Plus he can hardly used the advanced technique because of how much it drains his Haki. There's also a relatively newer movie or something but in it he and Fujitora confront each other again and Fujitora tries to drop a meteor on him and others to let himself get away. I think this was in one piece film stampede, but in it he has Enma and Haki and takes place after Wano. Zoro manages to cut the meteor in half but realizes it didn't damage it enough to save anyone, prepares to cut it again, but out of nowhere it gets diced into a bunch of small pieces and scene shifts to show Mihawk and Perona and Perona is freaking out saying, "Warn me next time before you do something like that!" As he did it so quick his sword is already back on his back and he's staring at Zoro. So yeah, even after beating King and getting Enma, using advanced Haki, Mihawk is still in a class of his own. I think advanced Haki could hurt Mihawk if it landed but I don't see Mihawk being hit by it at this level yet.
Mihawk powerscalled the New World perfectly, without even giving much effort.
Zoro has to be able to use ashura alot longer or have moves where he can use his conquerors coding way more frequently

Law cuts Kin'emon. After Kin'emon arrived on the island in search of Momonosuke, he started cutting down Caesar's subordinates whom he believed were holding his "son", prompting them to make a distress call that Luffy answered, which was intercepted by Smoker. Then after Smoker was defeated by Vergo, Vergo was in full iron body mode and Law sliced not only him in half and the entire building but the entire surrounding mountain outside like it was butter. A bloody mountain. He was only aiming for Vergo and he slices through the whole building and a freakin mountain. That was in Punk Hazard. He’s much stronger now. Zoro has only reached now at the end of Wano what Law was doing in Punk Hazard. Now that Law has awakened his fruit he as an absolute Monster. I think a lot of people underestimate Law. I believe that Law, Kid and Luffy are on an equal level and that’s why they were each given a 3 billion berry bounty as Oda’s way of emphasising that.
I know people might say that it took Law and Kid to take down big mom but remember they also had a go at Kaido too as well as Killer, the scabbards, Yamato and others before Luffy took him down. It was like 15 against Kaido and 2 against big mom. Actually a few of the Strawhats had a go at big mom too before hand like Nami, Zeus, Chopper, Franky, and Usopp so I stand corrected. About 15 against Kaido and 7 against Big Mom. Now Law is going up against Blackbeard and some of Blackbeards pirates without even recovering from his Big Mom fight shows how much of an absolute beast that Law is.
Law cutting apart mountains is a devil fruit feat, without it he could never do something on that level, with just haki and strength Zoro can. Law is not that impressive of a swordsman.

That’s 15 so far so yeah my maths was a little off. They all took a crack at him so no one can say it was just Luffy by himself. Even Big Mom had Chopper, Usopp, Nami, Zeus, Franky, Law and Kid all attack her at one point or another to take her down.

The major issue all of the Admirals have is that from what I can tell, it seems like conquers hockey at bare minimum is something generated by one's will to achieve a goal of conquering something which for Luffy is Conquering the sea and becoming the freest man in the world and for Zoro is Conquering all other Swordsmen and becoming the world's greatest Swordsman and to think of a marine having conquering Ambitions like that is a bit out there with the most I could imagine is having the ambition to conquer all Pirates but even then there's still plenty of things that would like to get in the way of any conqueror Ambitions like that with most of all is the fact that all admirals still are nothing more than the dogs of the Celestial Dragons.
Basically it's damn near impossible in my eyes for an admiral to really match an emperor unless they gave up a lot of what it means to be an admiral as well as flat out just left the Navy because for as long as they're going to be subservient to the celestial dragons completely and utterly, you can't really say that they can actually match the top fear cuz they likely won't ever have access to conquerors

Mans defeated like 3 supernova in wano, made kaido dodge one of his named attacks, tanked a named combo attack from two Yonkou, then went on to scar Kaido for the first time in many years and traded a few blows with him one on one with 30 broken bones, (bear in mind this is all before his King of Hell advanced conquerors powerup) and finally went on to defeat a Yonkou right hand... Taking all of this into consideration and the fact that he might have even received another offscreen buff or powerup (the whole grim reaper thing), I think its more than fair to say hes admiral level at this point.

Mihawk’s epithet is the clairvoyant which means he has specialty in observation more so than katakuri and even yasop which allows him to still use observation haki against shanks who is the killer of observation haki. This is shown in marineford where he was the only one who noticed that shanks was there before he blocked akainu. With zoro being specialized in armament he would probably loose on that alone. Many people just think that you need armament and conquers to fight but observation while not used in attack directly is nessasary just like any other haki is. When luffy was fighting kaido he was barely able to dodge a possibility lethal attack with his future sight. In zoro vs mihawk it would still be very close since speed and observation are 2 different things but I think we can rule out zoro winning at his current strength and haki.

That’s not true. That statement was invalidated by Luffy vs Kaido and BM vs Kid and Law. All 3 of them had to awaken their devil fruits to defeat their opponents and Luffy was not able to finish the job with conq coating alone and had to depend on G5

Shanks made an admiral run due to Conqueror's. This "invalidation" you speak of is just your head cannon.
Conquering King's is why Roger, a non-DF user, ruled the seas. Awakening is an after-thought power. Kidd and Law beat Big Mom in part due to awakening, but mostly because they 2 v 1'd her.

Strongest power in the verse so far is Conqueror's, and it is what made ALL of the top tiers into top tiers. There is no top tier who did not have it.
I think the admirals are above first commander level but the reason they aren't yonkou level is exactly because they don't have THE MOST ESSENTIAL POWER in the sotry.
Fleet admiral probably has it though so the Marines likely are stronger tahn any individual pirate crew / yonkou crew theoretically.
But yeah as haki continues to outclass DF powers, the admirals will become weaker and weaker. Only chance they are relevant in the end of series is if they improve with tech or something else.
Zoro has attacks that can injure yonko right now, thanks to Conqueror's. It's weird to think, but he likely is between 1st commander and admiral, so he would be a threat to the admirals currently.
Kizaru vs Sanji, Zoro vs Fujitora, etc. You can see the current crew defeating the admirals if matched up right.
They'd have to grow during the fight of course, but it is plausible.

Whitebeard not being able to use Conqueror's because he was sick and old also means he was likely the weakest emperor. A random stab wouldn't have hurt Big Mom or Kaidou as it was a requirement to have Conqueror's just ot hurt them.
(Law bypassed this with his DF, which probably shouldn't have been possible considering how haki should have replled his ability even if theoretically it went past the haki. . .)
I’ll give them benefit of doubt in that they haven’t had their time to shine. That time will come and there’s no way they’ll just be bums that get wiped. So they’re still elite imo, but stocks are going down!

Imo Yonko > Admirals from what we have seen so far but I also think once you’ve reached admiral level, you can fight anyone in the verse fairly in a 1v1.
Difference is pirates can fight without any care whereas admirals like Greenbull has to think about the repercussions for disobeying a direct order from Akainu to not engage in any fight much less take on two yonko crew at the same time.
Another point to add is most of the admirals are pre-timeskip characters.. so we don’t know their full potential in terms of awakening or haki.

I love him Zoro too, but he was completely done after roof piece and needed Law’s help for most his feats during roof piece. while kid and law went on to take down an OG yonko after. I got zoro Slightly behind Law and Kid not by much though.
You d riding, he cut kaido on two diff occasions without law help (ashura and dragon twister) only thing law supported him in was getting away from the double yonko attack (after blocking alone)

The battle with king and queen is a big debate. They were in udon so logicality they have to be cuffed with sea stone. As for the fight against yamato and the others momo told them not to fight and he would attack instead since he is the ruler of wano.

Zoro would probably be lucky to beat Greenbull. I think he would mid-dif lose to Kizaru, and Akainu rolls him. Crocodile is probably at Doflamingo's level now. Older characters are getting powerups, as Lucci is proabably Zoro's level now.

Mans defeated like 3 supernova in wano, made Kaido dodge one of his named attacks, tanked a named combo attack from two Yonkou, then went on to scar Kaido for the first time in many years and traded a few blows with him one on one with 30 broken bones, (bear in mind this is all before his King of Hell advanced conquerors powerup) and finally went on to defeat a Yonkou right hand... Taking all of this into consideration and the fact that he might have even received another offscreen buff or powerup (the whole grim reaper thing), I think its more than fair to say hes admiral level at this point.

Untill i read the manga i always believed that luffy was slightly ahead of zoro, but after wano my opinions have kinda changed. As ryogukyo showed, admirals are far above yonko commanders, and yonko are on par with admirals, so if we were to beleive that luffy is yonko and or admiral lvl and zoro is yonko commander lvl or slightly higher due to his fight with king, luffy should be able to one shot zoro in gear 5. I saw someone say that zoro was similar to base acoc luffy, which makes alot of sense to me. Og course that's only taking the king fight into account, so im not sure.

Mihawk wouldn't have been able to use the dinky knife he used to slap up zoro before, if he did Zoro would overpower and defeat him around low-mid diff. However, he definitely won't be capable of defeating Mihawk and Mihawk will indeed have to draw his Supreme blade to defeat zoro, But don't mistake me, Zoro WILL Lose to Mihawk even currently. The gap has been significantly closed and If Mihawk wants to defeat Zoro he will have to take him seriously and fight all out to win but still he WILL Win. Zoro's fight with Kaido on the rooftop is a good representation of how he'd do against a Yonko level Pirate like Mihawk, Zoro would do well against Mihawk and would impress him far further than East blue zoro did and maybe that Level of Power would lead Mihawk to train zoro then and there and lead zoro to be FAR stronger than he currently would be, But Zoro simply isn't at the peak of power the Emperors And their Rivals are sitting at quite yet.

unrelated but Onimaru not showing up for the raid and in post-Wano was disappointing tbh. He was more of an interesting character than some of the Red Scabbards. I hate how almost all plot points relating to Zoro got dropped in Wano. Instead all the screentime got wasted on Yamato for nothing.
