I always find Marco hard to place when discussing powering scaling. He’s not necessarily the strongest in that he can defeat super strong opponents, but he’s just so hard to deal with. Even Big Mom fled a fight with him because she just didn’t want to deal him. Using sea stone to remove his regenerative powers his basically the only reliable way we’ve seen to deal with Marco.
Only reason he not defeating people is because of plot, goin up against top tiers and he hasn’t had a clean 1v1 still. Think about it, have we seen any 1st commander that’s not a Strawhat (Zoro) completely defeat someone super strong? Marco holding his own respectably against top tiers even 2v1 King/Queen and hasn’t shown everything he can do still, that’s enough to show how strong he is
Blocked Kizaru's lasers, sent Aokiji flying, and clashed with Akainu, made Big Mom fled and 1v2'd King and Queen. Marco is definitely on Fujitora/Green Bull level
@@handsmcgee8331 the thing we have to consider is that he didn't show any offensive capabilities. He did hold his own against King and Queen, but he honestly didn't damage them in any significant way. I honestly belive that if BM didn't ran away from marco in the beggining of onigashima, she would be there for a good bit, enough time to turn the fight in the rooftop from a 2v5 to a 1v5. Still, even though he probably could hold his own against any OP character alive, I do belive that this is true only because he has one of the best defensive capabilities in the series. Although it would be kinda hard for someone like Akainu do damage to him, the oposite is also true, but his healing capabilities have limits (as it was shown in onigashima) so the victory would always go to the top tier. He probably is the strongest or second strongest commander in the series, but the gap between him and even the weakest Yonko (which I guess it would be Luffy rn, since the sky spliting) exists, and it's pretty sizable.

I think that current Luffy and Whitebeard would be able to hold off the marines untill Shanks arrives. At this point it's basically 3 yonko's vs marines and Sengoku will chose to not risk it and stop the war.

If whitebeard never been to marineford, I think he would be fine, as he only lost to BB due to all the wounds, even if he lose BB not coming unscathed like in marineford. WB probably live at this point but eventually BB will find a way to kill him.
Meh, if luffy was already this strong during ace's imprisonment, impel down arc is unlikely to happen. kuma would not be able to send luffy to hancock. the best way to get to impel down is via the tarai current, which he won't be able to access. Only other way would be to traverse the calm belt, which is littered with sea kings.
Something about the way Oda writes and designs characters that's so fascinating for me is that regardless of his feats, and advances, Luffy is always the underdog, and it's kind of amazing.

The big difference that would come from him going to marineford like he is now is his threat level. During the original marineford arc, luffy stood up to all three admirals, but they didn’t take him very seriously since he was not strong enough to threaten them. However, at the strength he has in current wano, he is being compared to the empires, so he could be taken as serious by the top tears (akainu, akoiji etc) as whitebeard is due to their comparable strength.
Mihawk cutting that giant block of ice was more impressive he just swung his sword casually, and cut something at least twice the size of PIKA AND FROM A DISTANCE. While zoro had to get close to pika and was out of breath when he beat pika

Current Luffy at marineford would EASY gain whitebeards respect even more than he did before. With ace rescued, I feel Luffy could've took out akainu along with whitebeard and completely changed the outcome of the war.
Whitebeard came there to die. Luffy would've fought equally with an Admiral until he lost stamina. Ace would've been freed but died anyway after he doubled back triggered.

Luffy and whitebeard can take akainu however, and the combined force of the whitebeard operates and the entire sh grand fleet can take out the fodder. There's zoro, sanji, Marco, juzo, izo, some serious powerhouses in this combo which can def take the admirals out. Unless we're only talking if luffy goes in which case yeah marines still clap

Sakazuki mutilated Newgate while Sakazuki had no lasting damage. Borsalino was casually blasting holes in Newgate's body. Newgate barely did any damage to any of them, if at all. So you highly underestimated the Admirals just because they weren't going all out against the Commanders. We all saw how useless the Commonanders became when Admiral Akainu got serious.

This power packs far more punch than ryou or advanced armament, I don't see admirals can match luffy or a yonko like kaido in that field. Luffy would still get a long fight however, he would come up top. Because conquerors haki especially advanced is game changer, it is what makes you pirate king material and makes you one of the strongest in the world.

Admirals are stronger than yonkos in a 1 vs 1 fight, so considering that Luffy will still probably have difficulty to deal with Kaido, I would place him just before the admirals and over most of the yonkos. (I won't consider Shanks since we don't know the full extent of his powers)

ace in marineford (though weakened by sea prism cuffs) is still the same ace that 1. fought equally against yamato 2. fought blow for blow against whitebeard during his early days of being in the whitebeard pirates (was seen in the ace manga) and 3. yamato said confidently that he stood a chance against kaido after their fight
I think Akainu will get more motivation to take out Luffy even more. Luffy cannot pass through 3 admiral like before if they take them seriously.I think when Luffy showed conqueror haki or maybe it was announced he was dragon son, Akainu got serious to take out Luffy.I think what can change is Ace not dying like u said. There are 4 admiral and Garp.And we have one sick and Luffy, also equivalent to sick yonko.I think Kaido should be present there to bring significant result .
They don’t need to win. They just need to survive until Shanks makes it. War evens out to 50-50 as soon as shanks joins. They would hold till Shanks came. They almost did in original story. Now you are adding a Yonko level character.

first of all, current Luffy won't be at Impel Down at all. He would be with his crew. So, the battle scene would be even more unpredictable as Mihawk may finally be serious about fighting after seeing strong Zoro and Marines would be less focused on Ace as they would be more concerned about capturing Nico Robbin. I don't even have to mention what Sanji with all German/Exoskeleton abilities and Franky with all Robocop shit would do. You never know, Chopper may cure Whitebeard at the end before it gets worse. And Ussopp may finally meet Yasopp, thereby, come of age at Marineford itself. This leaves Nami and Brooks, I can't imagine any significant role for them.
Considering that WB probably has cancer (used to have long blonde hair, now is bald and uses his durag, besides always being connected to medical stuff) Chopper could probably heal him only after the war, he definitely wouldn't have the time to do that during the war lol
Theres nothing Id love to see more than a flip-the-script moment where 3 admirals are on their knees looking up to a calm and angry Luffy in a callback to the marineford arc, looking down on them in a "you killed my brother" moment where he thrashes them effortlessly. But my man Oda probably wont take that route.

An admiral can spar casually with commanders, permanently alter the terrain of an entire island, they are the reason that the world government hasn’t fallen yet. To say luffy could beat all three like they’re nothing is to say that kaido could, or that any yonko could, and the conquerers thing. Does blackbeard have conquerers haki? We don’t know, does garp? He doesn’t. Mihawk? Dragon?

What about big mom? What about dragon? I don’t think luffy is quite yonko level yet. Because luffy is fighting kaido who has fought multiple people back to back( including luffy twice) while luffy actually was able to recover maybe his full strength and stamina after he ate a months supply of meat. To be yonko level I think luffy would have to go one on one with a yonko without any help. He’s right below that level.
You seem to have severely underestimated Buggy.D.Clown. As one of the strongest in the verse it's not that Mihawk "wasn't trying" to cut him, but Buggy.D.Clown was simply too elite for a plebian such as Mihawk to cut. He could solo all four yonko AND Luffy. His only matches are Con.D.Oriano, Go.D.Ussop, and the mysterious Sogeking who could very well be JoyBoy since none of us know his hidden identity. Ah how could I forget the mysterious force of nature that is unmatched in it's might. The mighty Down.D.Stairs would also be a match for Lord Clown.

I mean, who's to say that Luffy just wouldn't use Gear 4 right away. The whole plan that he had was to save Ace, but pre timeskip Luffy, couldn't fly. So Marineford may be super quick once Luffy gets there, because he could just fly to Ace, break his cuffs even without the key (because of Ryo) and then they get the f out of there.
You miss representing blackbeard you got to remember before he had a devil fruit he fought against shanks and wounded him and shanks even said himself he wasnt fighting sloppy and was on his guard and that's a Yonko blackbeard no matter what changes alot of the situation
That still remains one of the biggest mysteries of the story though. We have no idea when that fight went down and how it went down. So although that was definitely an impressive feat there's not enough info for me to put that much into it. Instead I just look at what BB showcased pre-TS. Ace did give him a little trouble even though BB ultimately won. Magellan one shot him, Sengoku blasted his ass, and a very severely injured WB nearly beat his ass as well. So based off of that, while Pre-TS BB was certainly yonko commander level strong, he was not a yonko level threat imo without the gura gura.

While people rightfully so can believe luffy is at admiral lvl, if he can fight one it will be high diff.. Something he cant do in a war..Ace still dies if he takes Akainu bait. But luffy is strong enough to knock him out & run away with him..Luffy also could knock out the fodder with Conquerors a couple of times throughout the battle...I will say I think a strong luffy like this will force more admirals to target him which as I mentioned earlier wouldn't be good in this scenario..
1st scenario. It’s not that bad actually. If Luffy fights for example Aokiji, Whitebeard fights Akainu and Marco plus Vista or someone fights Kizaru. You could then have all the commanders fight Sengoku. This is very dependent on if Luffy is able to beat Aokiji or I guess if Whitebeard beats Akainu they could easily free Ace. Garp is a non factor especially if it is Luffy he is facing. Then it’s just time to free Ace. If they Free ace that’s some nice extra Fire Power. This is is the best win scenario for Luffy. The second more likely is that the match ups are the same but the fights are long and drawn out. This will create enough time for Shanks to come and help. If Shanks brings his whole crew then it’s wrap. Hopefully I ain’t have to explain why. Third Scenario Sengoku absolutely bodies all the commanders and helps Akainu to finish Whitebeard or something. 4th Kizaru bodies Marco.

Ace died trying to protect luffy. Current luffy don't need that kinda protection from ace...let's be real. The war would still b tough but luffy AND ace would come out alive.
Once you get into yonko/admiral territory, it's more a matter of how no one's getting out unscathed. Regardless of who wins the casualties and scale of a real top tier fight is what keeps everyone somewhat in check up until Luffy showed up. But yeah the biggest factor in what changes everything is Luffys future sight. There are hundreds of things for him to ping and prevent one way or another. Everything he's learned up until now is to never let marineford happen again, and with whitebeards backup and everyone else, Garp and the admirals world have to seriously fight to change the scales back in their favor. Then the war ends either way when shanks gets there to back Luffy.
yea I agree like it wouldn't be that easy for them just because they have a current Luffy and old wb with them. Not to mention Luffy's stronger gears make him basically helpless after he overuses them. However, I honestly do think Ace wouldn't have died if current Luffy was at MF
When we see luffy use his "King-Kong GUN" it leveled an entire country. So with Ryuo and a lot more experience with gear 4 i think he would absolutely destroy the battle field. I think luffy will also use his King-Kong Gun against sengoku if he he punches luffy.

Current luffy arriving in marineford is like having an admiral getting reckless in the battlefield. But 2 conquerors haki a pirate king level and pirate king candidate joining together is a disaster for the marineford.
The hardest task in one piece is defeating all 3 admirals at once, the impossible task is beating all 4. Luffy rn may not be able to beat. 3 or 4 but he will soon in the story, I do believe in a 1 on 1 besides Akainu he beats them. Now undestand the admirals are strong there is no denying that but at this point in the story people have caught up to their level. Which is why I think they drop out of the top 10 strongest it’s just that people have gotten stronger.
There’s no character in one piece alive or dead that has the power equivalent to 3 admirals unless Im is revealed to have some overwhelming power. Rocks is probably the closet character since it took prime white beard and roger to defeat him.

Sengoku even said that rocks could even be considered Rogers greatest enemy (more so than white beard) so obviously he has to be at roger’s level of power to have that claim. And we don’t know the exact specifics of the battle, roger could’ve had Rayleigh and his crew there to fight rocks crew. Same for harp and the name.
I don't see how they don't win. This Luffy is arguably stronger than the sick whitebeard at marineford. And if we add the current straw hats to the equation plus the grandfleet. It's Two Yonko Caliber Crews facing the world government. Whether we'd like to admit it or not. Luffy is a legendary pirate as of now as it's implied in the story. Garp himself said it. "The Navy Can't Handle two Legends at the same time." So they'll win and Ace comes out alive. That's what I think happens
the pirates were never going to win at marineford. no one from the marines side was even fighting seriously in the least. to be fully honest akainu was the only person to seriously fight whitebeard. sengoku, garp, kizaru, aokiji, mihawk, doflamingo, kuma were all chilling. none of these people were making any serious effort. even if current luffy was there it doesn't change a damn thing.
I'd love nothing more than for Oda to write this up into a movie. Even if it's non-canon, even if it still ends in failure. Hell it could be the non-canon explanation for the bad timeline.
Kizaru would lose though. That future sight will help. Secondly he has advanced armament & advanced conquerers. Luffy's hits are very powerful. He can drop Kaido on his face. Not to mention him being rubber gives him an advantage against blunt attacks.

@@Poup_o7 Luffy uses advanced conquerors haki because it packs far more power than the advanced armament, if he and kizaru were to fight i don't see any chance of kizaru coming up top. Sure it would not be one sided as he is an admiral and would put up a good fight however luffy has learned alot during wano to the point that he is becoming worthy of a being a true yonko, he was technically a yonko but not strong enough to be one. If he takes down kaido then finally this battle would serve as an example of his strength, and he can go toe to toe with akainu. However current luffy would be strong enough to take down kizaru and fujitora.
The thing is we’re forgetting Oda’s annoying nerfs (don’t get me wrong Oda is the GOAT) however, he nerfs characters quite often just to prioritize story, for example, when Zoro and Luffy were fighting two beast pirates and took Tama away, both Luffy and Zoro are way stronger and faster than those punks, I was expecting Luffy to just “teleport” next to the fast guy and retrieve Tama in a second, yet they struggled to get there, the same thing goes to Mihawk in Marineford, even Whitebeard and the admirals were nerfed at Marineford, so I would expect Luffy to also struggle and for some weaklings to stop some of his attacks even though he’s as strong as he is now. It’s annoying but it’s unfortunately the truth.

It has happened all throughout One Piece and not only with Luffy, other characters as I previously mentioned.

If it's a speed thing, keep in mind that One Piece is originally a manga, and you can't really show speed in a manga. I actually want to thank you because I myself was so annoyed when they took forever to go somewhere, but now I realize that the anime just took a guess with the speed.
@@mrbubbles6468 we’re not talking about the main antagonist, we’re talking about regulars, the previous antagonist wasn’t big mom, was Kat, so of course Kaido (the main antagonist in wano) is stronger. But when we’re talking about regulars that are in yonkou crews or even commanders, should be at the same level. King is at Kat’s level, if they fight one of them may come on top but at the end of the day the have a similar level of strength. There’s a reason why they’re yonko crews, if they weren’t on the same level then they would get a higher title or something would specify the separation between them.

We are almost close to the endgame of OP so I feel at this point going toe to toe with Kaido, Luffy would be placed much higher than the facts this video point out. I don't think the other characters in Marineford has all the abilities Luffy now possess, except WB. The video even placed the Yonko above the Admirals but Luffy lower than all of them? How I see it Yonko with Luffy mixed in there, close behind are the admirals than Mihawk. Only because at this point we don't know how strong Mihawk is now compared with everything going on. It's still a mystery so there's nothing to exactly compare him too. Even if we use Zoro now, we still don't know where's Mihawk ceiling compare to other characters. Like how we don't know where Shanks stacks amongst the other Yonko.

It's definitely hard to compare current Luffy to an arc so long ago. While the current power scale might not have been in Oda's head at the time, if he made everyone that much stronger than Luffy to what we imagine now he wouldn't have stood a chance. Would have made for a very quick and uneventful arc for our protagonist..
I’m pretty sure the Admirals including Garp and Sengoku will be forced to showcase their true power if that’s the case. Facing strong opponents will only trigger them to match it and note that none of the Admirals have shown any of their full power yet and each one of them should at least be at Yonkou level. So Luffy forcing his way to rescue Ace will definitely face more challenging obstacles.

WB needed a sneak attack to beat Akainu and he still lost half his face in the process. Prime WB would win against Akainu no doubt but WB at marineford would most likely lose in a straight up fight without interruptions and distractions.

I always find Marco hard to place when discussing powering scaling. He’s not necessarily the strongest in that he can defeat super strong opponents, but he’s just so hard to deal with. Even Big Mom fled a fight with him because she just didn’t want to deal him. Using sea stone to remove his regenerative powers his basically the only reliable way we’ve seen to deal with Marco.

He did hold his own against King and Queen, but he honestly didn't damage them in any significant way. I honestly belive that if BM didn't ran away from marco in the beggining of onigashima, she would be there for a good bit, enough time to turn the fight in the rooftop from a 2v5 to a 1v5. Still, even though he probably could hold his own against any OP character alive, I do belive that this is true only because he has one of the best defensive capabilities in the series. Although it would be kinda hard for someone like Akainu do damage to him, the oposite is also true, but his healing capabilities have limits (as it was shown in onigashima) so the victory would always go to the top tier. He probably is the strongest or second strongest commander in the series, but the gap between him and even the weakest Yonko (which I guess it would be Luffy rn, since the sky spliting) exists, and it's pretty sizable.

Meh, if luffy was already this strong during ace's imprisonment, impel down arc is unlikely to happen. kuma would not be able to send luffy to hancock. the best way to get to impel down is via the tarai current, which he won't be able to access. Only other way would be to traverse the calm belt, which is littered with sea kings.
Something about the way Oda writes and designs characters that's so fascinating for me is that regardless of his feats, and advances, Luffy is always the underdog, and it's kind of amazing.

The big difference that would come from him going to marineford like he is now is his threat level. During the original marineford arc, luffy stood up to all three admirals, but they didn’t take him very seriously since he was not strong enough to threaten them. However, at the strength he has in current wano, he is being compared to the empires, so he could be taken as serious by the top tears (akainu, akoiji etc) as whitebeard is due to their comparable strength.

This power packs far more punch than ryou or advanced armament, I don't see admirals can match luffy or a yonko like kaido in that field. Luffy would still get a long fight however, he would come up top. Because conquerors haki especially advanced is game changer, it is what makes you pirate king material and makes you one of the strongest in the world.

first of all, current Luffy won't be at Impel Down at all. He would be with his crew. So, the battle scene would be even more unpredictable as Mihawk may finally be serious about fighting after seeing strong Zoro and Marines would be less focused on Ace as they would be more concerned about capturing Nico Robbin. I don't even have to mention what Sanji with all German/Exoskeleton abilities and Franky with all Robocop shit would do. You never know, Chopper may cure Whitebeard at the end before it gets worse. And Ussopp may finally meet Yasopp, thereby, come of age at Marineford itself. This leaves Nami and Brooks, I can't imagine any significant role for them.
Considering that WB probably has cancer (used to have long blonde hair, now is bald and uses his durag, besides always being connected to medical stuff) Chopper could probably heal him only after the war, he definitely wouldn't have the time to do that during the war lol

You seem to have severely underestimated Buggy.D.Clown. As one of the strongest in the verse it's not that Mihawk "wasn't trying" to cut him, but Buggy.D.Clown was simply too elite for a plebian such as Mihawk to cut. He could solo all four yonko AND Luffy. His only matches are Con.D.Oriano, Go.D.Ussop, and the mysterious Sogeking who could very well be JoyBoy since none of us know his hidden identity. Ah how could I forget the mysterious force of nature that is unmatched in it's might. The mighty Down.D.Stairs would also be a match for Lord Clown.

So Marineford may be super quick once Luffy gets there, because he could just fly to Ace, break his cuffs even without the key (because of Ryo) and then they get the f out of there.

That still remains one of the biggest mysteries of the story though. We have no idea when that fight went down and how it went down. So although that was definitely an impressive feat there's not enough info for me to put that much into it. Instead I just look at what BB showcased pre-TS. Ace did give him a little trouble even though BB ultimately won. Magellan one shot him, Sengoku blasted his ass, and a very severely injured WB nearly beat his ass as well. So based off of that, while Pre-TS BB was certainly yonko commander level strong, he was not a yonko level threat imo without the gura gura.

While people rightfully so can believe luffy is at admiral lvl, if he can fight one it will be high diff.. Something he cant do in a war..Ace still dies if he takes Akainu bait. But luffy is strong enough to knock him out & run away with him..Luffy also could knock out the fodder with Conquerors a couple of times throughout the battle...I will say I think a strong luffy like this will force more admirals to target him which as I mentioned earlier wouldn't be good in this scenario..

1st scenario. It’s not that bad actually. If Luffy fights for example Aokiji, Whitebeard fights Akainu and Marco plus Vista or someone fights Kizaru. You could then have all the commanders fight Sengoku. This is very dependent on if Luffy is able to beat Aokiji or I guess if Whitebeard beats Akainu they could easily free Ace. Garp is a non factor especially if it is Luffy he is facing. Then it’s just time to free Ace. If they Free ace that’s some nice extra Fire Power. This is is the best win scenario for Luffy.
The second more likely is that the match ups are the same but the fights are long and drawn out. This will create enough time for Shanks to come and help. If Shanks brings his whole crew then it’s wrap. Hopefully I ain’t have to explain why.
Third Scenario Sengoku absolutely bodies all the commanders and helps Akainu to finish Whitebeard or something.
4th Kizaru bodies Marco.

Once you get into yonko/admiral territory, it's more a matter of how no one's getting out unscathed. Regardless of who wins the casualties and scale of a real top tier fight is what keeps everyone somewhat in check up until Luffy showed up.
But yeah the biggest factor in what changes everything is Luffys future sight. There are hundreds of things for him to ping and prevent one way or another.
Everything he's learned up until now is to never let marineford happen again, and with whitebeards backup and everyone else, Garp and the admirals world have to seriously fight to change the scales back in their favor. Then the war ends either way when shanks gets there to back Luffy.
yea I agree like it wouldn't be that easy for them just because they have a current Luffy and old wb with them. Not to mention Luffy's stronger gears make him basically helpless after he overuses them. However, I honestly do think Ace wouldn't have died if current Luffy was at MF

When I read this title of video, the first thing that I came across is Garp getting hit by Full Barrage of Luffy's Elephant Gattling.
When we see luffy use his "King-Kong GUN" it leveled an entire country. So with Ryuo and a lot more experience with gear 4 i think he would absolutely destroy the battle field. I think luffy will also use his King-Kong Gun against sengoku if he he punches luffy.

Given the current chapter, I think Luffy is nearly as strong as Kaido, as the latter said he hasn't fought this seriously for so long.
I wouldnt say so, Kaido has been fighting power hitters non stop while luffy had a break, feast and power nap, but Luffy isn't far from him though.

Current luffy arriving in marineford is like having an admiral getting reckless in the battlefield. But 2 conquerors haki a pirate king level and pirate king candidate joining together is a disaster for the marineford.
The hardest task in one piece is defeating all 3 admirals at once, the impossible task is beating all 4. Luffy rn may not be able to beat. 3 or 4 but he will soon in the story, I do believe in a 1 on 1 besides Akainu he beats them. Now undestand the admirals are strong there is no denying that but at this point in the story people have caught up to their level. Which is why I think they drop out of the top 10 strongest it’s just that people have gotten stronger.

There’s no character in one piece alive or dead that has the power equivalent to 3 admirals unless Im is revealed to have some overwhelming power. Rocks is probably the closet character since it took prime white beard and roger to defeat him.

Sengoku even said that rocks could even be considered Rogers greatest enemy (more so than white beard) so obviously he has to be at roger’s level of power to have that claim. And we don’t know the exact specifics of the battle, roger could’ve had Rayleigh and his crew there to fight rocks crew. Same for harp and the name.

I don't see how they don't win. This Luffy is arguably stronger than the sick whitebeard at marineford. And if we add the current straw hats to the equation plus the grandfleet. It's Two Yonko Caliber Crews facing the world government. Whether we'd like to admit it or not. Luffy is a legendary pirate as of now as it's implied in the story. Garp himself said it. "The Navy Can't Handle two Legends at the same time." So they'll win and Ace comes out alive. That's what I think happens

the pirates were never going to win at marineford. no one from the marines side was even fighting seriously in the least. to be fully honest akainu was the only person to seriously fight whitebeard. sengoku, garp, kizaru, aokiji, mihawk, doflamingo, kuma were all chilling. none of these people were making any serious effort. even if current luffy was there it doesn't change a damn thing.

Kizaru would lose though. That future sight will help. Secondly he has advanced armament & advanced conquerers. Luffy's hits are very powerful. He can drop Kaido on his face. Not to mention him being rubber gives him an advantage against blunt attacks.

@@Poup_o7 Luffy uses advanced conquerors haki because it packs far more power than the advanced armament, if he and kizaru were to fight i don't see any chance of kizaru coming up top. Sure it would not be one sided as he is an admiral and would put up a good fight however luffy has learned alot during wano to the point that he is becoming worthy of a being a true yonko, he was technically a yonko but not strong enough to be one. If he takes down kaido then finally this battle would serve as an example of his strength, and he can go toe to toe with akainu. However current luffy would be strong enough to take down kizaru and fujitora.

The thing is we’re forgetting Oda’s annoying nerfs (don’t get me wrong Oda is the GOAT) however, he nerfs characters quite often just to prioritize story, for example, when Zoro and Luffy were fighting two beast pirates and took Tama away, both Luffy and Zoro are way stronger and faster than those punks, I was expecting Luffy to just “teleport” next to the fast guy and retrieve Tama in a second, yet they struggled to get there, the same thing goes to Mihawk in Marineford, even Whitebeard and the admirals were nerfed at Marineford, so I would expect Luffy to also struggle and for some weaklings to stop some of his attacks even though he’s as strong as he is now. It’s annoying but it’s unfortunately the truth.

It has happened all throughout One Piece and not only with Luffy, other characters as I previously mentioned.

If it's a speed thing, keep in mind that One Piece is originally a manga, and you can't really show speed in a manga. I actually want to thank you because I myself was so annoyed when they took forever to go somewhere, but now I realize that the anime just took a guess with the speed.

But when we’re talking about regulars that are in yonkou crews or even commanders, should be at the same level. King is at Kat’s level, if they fight one of them may come on top but at the end of the day the have a similar level of strength. There’s a reason why they’re yonko crews, if they weren’t on the same level then they would get a higher title or something would specify the separation between them.

We are almost close to the endgame of OP so I feel at this point going toe to toe with Kaido, Luffy would be placed much higher than the facts this video point out. I don't think the other characters in Marineford has all the abilities Luffy now possess, except WB. The video even placed the Yonko above the Admirals but Luffy lower than all of them? How I see it Yonko with Luffy mixed in there, close behind are the admirals than Mihawk. Only because at this point we don't know how strong Mihawk is now compared with everything going on. It's still a mystery so there's nothing to exactly compare him too. Even if we use Zoro now, we still don't know where's Mihawk ceiling compare to other characters. Like how we don't know where Shanks stacks amongst the other Yonko.

It's definitely hard to compare current Luffy to an arc so long ago. While the current power scale might not have been in Oda's head at the time, if he made everyone that much stronger than Luffy to what we imagine now he wouldn't have stood a chance. Would have made for a very quick and uneventful arc for our protagonist..

I’m pretty sure the Admirals including Garp and Sengoku will be forced to showcase their true power if that’s the case. Facing strong opponents will only trigger them to match it and note that none of the Admirals have shown any of their full power yet and each one of them should at least be at Yonkou level. So Luffy forcing his way to rescue Ace will definitely face more challenging obstacles.

Hey Zach. I think you missed an important tide changer in this scenario. Luffy´s current level of Conqueror´s haki could possibly knock out at least 25-30% of the marines there. I´d say he could even maybe knock out a few Marine capitains and rear admirals
