    Marcus actually has the “secret sauce” every other teacher says they have In their TH-cam videos. He teaches you how to move and swing naturally, fully, smoothly and in sequence for your body. In other words, kinematically. Not the BS position swing being taught by others, which produces a million thoughts going through your head on every swing. All you it does is confuse you and produce swings that are contrived, control and no power. You end up swinging in a straight jacket. No wonder so many are lousy at this game. Keep up the excellent work, Marcus, and thank you for sharing the true secret sauce. It has helped my game tremendously.

    So many times you see from other golf instructors video’s the comment “this is the magic move you need’. Not here thank goodness. This is like old school golf digging it out of dirt with expert clear instructions. Marcus your a 💎💎💎

    Holly cow!, I spent years saying "I loose contact with the club head in the downswing!" Not so much anymore. For me the "cure" was to lighten my grip pressure by about 90%. Great session. Honestly, one of the best things I get from your videos is permission, license to play. Love it.

    The great Ray Haughton. One player trust me Klopp would have loved in his team.

    Absolutely magic, the only way of describing the way you individually teach each person. There’s always a solution for every student.

    Brilliant work again Marcus!!!
    This is the best channel for instruction as the amateur's are doing the work and not the pros which is far more relatable and we can all include in our practice.
    Looking forward to you and the ZEN golf team providing great content in the new year!!!

    Interesting to hear this client talk about what he feels he does with his swing. I’ve taught a racquet sport for years and to ask them after they hit a few balls, where they think they are hitting the ball in relationship to their body.

    Dont say shank its a slight miss of the middle of the club by one half the length of the iron. Another absolutely brilliant lesson, thanks for the Chrissie gift.

    I dont believe you actually "need" that to do what you do, but just curious....

    But can I ask, if one isn’t loading the right side as shown, isn’t that moving the body mass as they say, so the centre point moves off the ball too ? It’s ok if one is practicing 8 hrs but for a simple hobby player can spell huge problems?

      Loading into the ground and loading the muscular system i.e. Joint complexes and muscular chains are completely different things 👍

      I bought one last year and I’m in the states. It actually arrived sooner than I expected, considering they aren’t pre-made and made when ordered.

    You should have a sign on the wall with your hourly rate plus $100 per additional yard. It is remarkable how much better these chaps do after a 20-30 min session which should be worth thousands!

    Dont keep your height ? 🤣🤣🤣

  • @lordlukan3862
    @lordlukan3862 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Try telling Jack Nicklaus not to maintain your height. His coach used to hold his hair while he made his backswing. To quote Marcus, "every action has an equal and opposite reaction", so it stands to reason that if you lift up on your backswing, you will need to lower yourself in the downswing. Alright so long as your timing is right. Remind me again, how many tournaments you've won Marcus!!

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Does winning tournaments have anything to do with being able to coach? A lot of the world's top coaches in most sports weren't top players (btw, not for one second I am suggesting I'm a top coach but we all have aspirations).
      If you watch closely I talk about side bend. I'd recommend watching that bit again. The body extends but sidebend gives the appearance of maintaining height/posture and it's this that can be misinterpreted and people try and keep their head still without appreciating the side bend component. Nicklaus had a lot of pelvis movement and sidebend so he was extending through his spine otherwise he would have moved way off the ball. Checkout this link to see how much movement there was.

      @@GRFGolf while it's true that you don't have to be a prolific tournament winner, to be a good coach, if you've not won anything, then in my book, it's not tried and tested. All these gadgets and instruction, are great on the range, but what happens when you hit a bad shot and you Will, chances are you're confidence starts to go and then you're searching for how to correct it. I've watched a few of your videos and not been compelled to say anything until I saw the title of this video. I've been around this game for a long time and came to the conclusion, that you can search for the magic move till the cows come home but sadly you won't find it watching channels like this. Sorry if my comments are not to your taste, but seeing the comments from people that haven't got a clue what they're talking about, winds me up. I'm sure you will carry on making lots of money with your TH-cam channel, but like I said, your title got my juices flowing. One thing I do believe in, is that the less moving parts, the less to go wrong!!!

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@lordlukan3862 I welcome all opinions and it's all valid. We can agree to disagree. I'm sure there's plenty of other channels that suit your taste. I'm not a TH-camr, I'm a golf coach and the purpose of this channel is to help share information that will hopefully help people's games. All the lessons you see are real results but I appreciate your point of view. The aim of this approach is to equip the pupil with the awareness and understanding to enable them to recognise their movement behaviour and be able to self-regulate it to develop consistency in their game. They also have ongoing support via a Facebook forum and their full lesson recording for future reference. I may not have won but I've surrounded myself and worked with elite level players/coaches for 25 years and have played on professional tours. Hopefully there's some useful information for you on the channel.

    • @lordlukan3862
      @lordlukan3862 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GRFGolf I'm sorry to say that your style of coaching wouldn't suit me. For me, golf is a feel game. If it doesn't feel right on a given day, then my confidence won't be there. If I hit it great on the practice ground, it doesn't necessarily mean I'll hit great when I've got a score card in my hand, and let's face it, it does matter where you hit it on the range, at some point, you'll hit a few good ones. If your coaching was so effective, then why did Liam Harrison have a lesson from Rick Shiels then you sort his slice out, then Danny Maude sorts his slice out, then Dave the pro sorts his slice out, Bry Roberts gives him a lesson, not to mention other people giving him tips and now he's even qualified to give tips himself. So I guess people like you will never be out of work, as there will always be people looking for the holy grail. It doesn't exist as I'm sure you know. As far as I can see, the only difference between your method and other coaches that teach find your own swing, is your gadgets and technical jargon. If you aren't just a TH-cam channel, then why keep posting all these videos. They don't help people as we're all different, but they can confuse people!!

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lordlukan3862 No problem, I see it a completely different way but that's fine and that's what makes this game and coaching/learning so interesting. I don't profess this is the holy grail, on the contrary, there isn't a 'magic move' or particular way to play and that's the message. There isn't any ulterior motive to create more work, that's a very cynical view and not one that I share. I've spent my adult life trying to learn and educate myself to help people play better golf and that's the purpose for what I do. It's not a business to me, it's my vocation and I'm very passionate about helping people enjoy the game. I suggest you look elsewhere and wish you the best on your journey. Thanks
