    I really enjoyed the interaction between student and teacher. Student knew what he doesn't know and freely expressed his feelings and doubts. In the same time teacher listened to student and gave him straight to the point answers. What a great lesson! 👍😊

    Nice lesson and what I notice in most of these videos is that the student thinks of the golf swing as a backswing and a downswing. But once they get the concept of a bit of recentering it all comes together and then they have all the time in the world to smash it. Nicely done, Marcus.

    Zen and Marcus, in particular, you boys are geniuses. The step drill and later swing is phenomenal. It has helped my swing tremendously. I went from a 12 handicap down to a 4 in less than a year. Thanks for all the great videos. Planning to come get an in person lesson from you once all this pandemic stuff goes away. I’m in the U.S.A. In the meantime, keep doing excellent work and telling us the truth about the golf swing and not that crap most teachers give out. Cheers.

    I love how Marcus does not talk about club positions. He only speaks of the golfer's intentions when trying to draw or fade it.

    It's a 3D trick , he gets you to push the right hip back deepening the position at the top or whenever the change of direction occurs . You get there faster with more space to time the pendulum flow thru . I'M still watching you Marcus, always making it interesting with your bag of tricks. lol

    Fantastic explanation ! I noticed that hips have to uncoil + go up on downswing, otherwise weight transfer is much more difficult, am I correct in training that? Without the up, they don't uncoil, weight is not dynamically transferring and, for me at least, I start hooking. thanks Marcus!

  • @marklucey1

    Marcus, with the ring implement you have, are you asking him to feel like he’s hitting quite a bit out to the right….but in addition let the club head turn/roll over?

  • @jonramel8816
    @jonramel8816 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Marcus, I'm fascinated by the training aid shown at the 6:15 minute mark. The one that goes around your waist. Never seen it before. Did you make it yourself? I over use my arms and think it would be helpful for me. Maybe you can do a video showcasing it. Thanks.

    You know something Marcus - I like those shoes and am impressed how white they seem to remain
    A) can you tell me what shoes they are
    B) do you have a keep-your-shoes-white-even-though-you-work-around-a-lot-of-grass secret? Or do you just have like 20 pairs?

    How’s his golf gone after this is what I want to know. It’s how this transferred into his game that’s the important thing to me. Obviously I’d expect improvement from the fact he’s hitting it mint now but what’s the reality?

    • @phreak761
      @phreak761 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He has the full lesson recorded for himself so he can rewatch and do the drills again.
      Over time you will go back to your old swing and mess it all up, you have to keep training yourself into the new system.
      Golf is not a game of perfect, everything from lie to wind, temperature and fatigue will play a role in the outcome.
      Pressure is another big factor in all sports and can even make a pro look like an amateur in the right circumstances! 😂

  • @simmo5071
    @simmo5071 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    He is excited and justifiably so… Adjusting your swing to do this everytime is definitely a work in progress. One day I have it the next it’s almost alien to me, then shazaam it’s back. Walking on the pads is tough for me balance isn’t my forte.

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the pads are tricky then that's a great place to explore further! 👍

  • @CharlesHillier

    Embarrassed to see this guy get all squirrely just like I would do!
    He opened my mind to just how far left the release actually is!
    I keep getting weight further and further left and release further and further left.
    I've found the weight shift limit, but still not the release limit! Contact just gets better and better the further left I release.
    And the requirement to swing toward tight field and release with the hands becomes more evident.
    I'm gonna get there, I'm determined.
