Having a child that is competent enough to deal with animals, move fences and swap apparatus off and on tractors makes farming soo much easier, I’m sitting here watching this while my son moves the fences and power washes the slatted shed.
Same Adrian i sowed all my bagmanure in early may and the weather promised light rain and 20 Celsius, it rained solid for 3 day afterwards and never hit 15 Celsius
Milked cows for a good few years before moving on to pastures new. Was hoping to see some footage of the cows involved. I imagine they were 2 favourites, first in the parlour but maybe holding things up on the exit 🤔 That said, very impressive videos 👍🏻
I’m wondering Adrian did the case have a second hydraulic pump for the loader because I work with a massey 5455 and it has a secondary pump which just allows for quicker movement of the loader Ik the case is gone now but did you install a secondary pump along with the main pump
Hard to believe them 2 cows bent that RSJ, they have some amount of power too, nice work fixing the gate back up, I like a gate you have to lift or push down to open, otherwise stock can rattle them open, seen it happen.
Nice one Adrian. You need to figure out which of those two cows is Massey Ferguson and which is John Deere. It might be best to moove on the John Deere supporter as this may well be, the early onset of mad cow disease.
Well aiden just a quick question I was thinking about buying a few of them plastic bins how do u rate them because I hate having plastic around the yard
We have one of those JFC the day wraps, if it’s for plastic then it’s great. I didn’t get to show it much last year as we got it late on but I will show it more this coming winter, when it comes to meal storage the Tipsy bin speaks for itself.
@@IFarmWeFarm yeah I made the purchase anyway thanks for showing of these products on your chennel you are very tasty man when it comes to handy things like this 😂
I do hope your cows haven't hurt themselves fighting, but that crack about them arguing about John Deere was a good one! Here in Texas, most of my relatives farm/ranch, and I was probably well into my teens before I realized that other brands of big farm equipment existed, lol. Last year my cousin bought a *gasp * Kubota tractor, and they're STILL giving him grief about it. I do hope you get the rain you need. Drought is such a frightening thing to me. Seen too many crops fail over the years, and now they're having a hundred-year drought in the northern Great Plains region. One channel I'm following isn't going to take a hay crop for the second year in a row. Scary stuff.
Yes they would, there eyes are more sensitive that ours and I suppose the sparks and the odd sound were making her go bananas too trying to figure out what was going on.
Yes believe so , Bailey never looked up at the arc in the video but I must keep that door closed so she can’t come in when i’m welding. It’s a very good point and one I will heed for sure as I’d be lost without my dogs and would never knowingly put them in harms way 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm Great to hear that, it's a strange one because in my years I've always been warned of it but there's never been a time a dog or any animal has been around so I've never thought about it. At the very least your video has made me aware of wildlife danger while welding i suppose 😂😂😂
Good video as always Adrian, I just have one question. Is their a certain reason why you don't have and use a fertiliser spinner? I know the likes of Gerry 6420 and Farmer Phil spread all of they're fertiliser during the season. But down here in the south we spread it whenever we need to. Unless that's something only some farmers do...
Really enjoy you’re videos, isn’t great having a wee bit of help the kids. Just some advice welding and I’m a culprit also get yourself gloves and a apron. I know auckward
Hi there just an idea should you have drilled a small hole in the washer on the bottom of the hinge to let out water or moisture And stop it from rusting Love the videos and the accent
😱🤦♂️🙈 Ya, there's always 1. Whatever animal it is or sometime's it's a actual person. 😂🤣😅 😱🤦♂️🙈 A now,now Adrian, there's no need to be bringing in anything about John Deere, giving Gerry6420 a little dig. 😂😂🤣🤣😅😅 Ya,not every dog like's welder's & different noise's. Why didn't you drill a hole in the bottom, to let water & the like's away from the bottom of the spud of the gate? Can you do virtual up welding? It's a stronger weld, I think anyway. You went around the house & mind the dresser, there abit Adrian. 😂🤣😅 About grass growning & topping. 😂🤣😅 Ya a mower is better at topping/cutting grass, than an actual topper. Also you need to have good clean ground for a mower. Ya, sometimes, something is worth more to you keep it, than changing it. Great video.Keep it up. 👏👏👍👍
Love the channel very honest look at farming.

Lovely to see Nicole helping out. Calves looking great. Good idea changing doses. 🙂
Brilliant as usual Adrian wouldn't expect anything else from your brilliant channel 👌👍🏴
Great video Adrian, I've started topping with my disc mower, makes a great job and grass recovers quickly
Good video as always Adrian I look forward to watching it here every Sunday night here in Sydney Australia 👍
Cheers Gary, thanks for tuning in
Nash is looking good glad it's up and running for you again. Love the dog loving the welding 👍. Good job. Stay safe 🏴
Nice one Adrian, wise word from a great farmer!
Great video learn more on this channel about grass management than I did in the green cert. Another great video Adrain 👍
Cheers Stephen

Well done great video 👍 grass is just starting to grow now
Cracking video Adrian straight to the point
Great video again guy's. Ur right to keep changing ur dose..i change our doses for the horse's every year..👍
Great Video 👍🏻
Great video adrian handy man with a welder
Great video
Busy man doing great job jack of all trades
Look forward to next one 👍
Totally agree with the flail topper v a mower. Any dairy farmer should not let in a flail topper around the place. Disaster

Great video as always Adrian. Tidy bit of welding. i could do with you round the yard for a few hours.😄😄
Thank you for sharing.
Nice one Adrian definitely wouldn’t get rid of that mower either, owes you nothing and saves covering the new one in shite 😂.

8:43 I dont think the dog likes the welder 😂😂😂
Bailey barks at everything that makes noise, drills, saws and the milking machine drives her crazy
We're after opening a bale of silage the other day Adrian

Had the same issue with cows and gates upgraded all yard gates to heavy duty teemore.

Adrian how do you like the new Massey
Love it so fare Kieran

They seem a great job would definitely be worth buying to clean plastic up around the yard
JFC bin for gathering bale plastic is the only job. No hassle gathering wet plastic for recycling in Spring! Very simple bin that is very handy

What make is your mower on the case please Adrian. Considering buying something like that after seeing the job is does for you.
JF 2408 lad. Love it
Its not like that down here in Mayo we have no shortage of grass so we will count our selves as lucky 😀😀👍👍
Grass always need too be cut unless its is dry and brittle. It looks good. Hope it rains steady but not downpour. Green is good luck.
Is the case running well now
Yes perfectly Joseph

Can dogs get Arc Eye? Is there a danger in letting a dog watch you welding? Genuinely very curious

Adrian what is your favourite tractor brand and what is your favourite tractor you owned
Massy 😂
I would guess fave massy
Best the little case he has
He also liked the 4270 and 698 he had I believe
Massey has always been the fav, i grew up with them so the love will always be there. Favourite would probably be the 698T
