@@reedthefishmonger it’s impossible she’s a sushi chef, a sushi chef is not a title given by a restaurant but an actual process with certain academic/experience requirements. I don’t doubt she works as a chef in a Japanese restaurant, that doesn’t make her a sushi, chef. Just sharing knowledge, still your fish and cutting skills are always on point
While I originally wanted disagree I can't, I just looked it up through several different sources and yes inorder to obtain the title sushi chef you have to go through several other titles during an apprenticeship with an actual sushi chef and this process takes 5-10 years. Unless she went through that process, calling her a "sushi chef" is actually disrespectful to all the people who went though the grueling work to obtain that title and skill.
Anyone can be a sushi chef in this world of artificial crap.
