Couldn't agree more with this, I was lucky enough to start out on Virginia blends when I first took up pipe smoking around 10 years ago. But now I seem to be reaching for more aromatic blends as the years have gone on!
I think it’s a shame new pipe smokers are so often guided toward aros. There are some good B&Ms-like my favorite Milan-who create non-bitey house aros, but you’re right that most aren’t. It took me quite a while to learn to slow down enough to really enjoy aros.
This is my first video of yours that I’ve watched. Great content. Great discussion. I like the music selection in the background. Not too loud. Could be slightly less volume. But the constant road noise is a no go! Wow, What a distraction. It ruins the video. Listening to it thru headphones or ear buds is almost intolerable. If you fix this I’ll be a subscriber. Off to check out some more of your pipe content. Like I said this reply is 2 years after this vid posted so I’m keeping my fingers crossed I won’t be hearing the road noise in current videos. Assuming that will be difficult if you like to film in your backyard.
My local brick and mortar just carries bulk Cornell and diehl blends(as their "house" blends) and tins of varying brands like Peter McConnell, Samuel gawith, Peterson, and escudo
My preference is Aromatics... Check out Lord Methley's from 4 noggins. Good aroma, good smoke and staying power down to the bootom of the bowl. Another one , since you like Elines drea,m ( I like it) is Moon Trance. Barclay Rex in New York has a few House Aeromatic blends that are pretty good, not super great but v. good , Cheers!
I got my pipe less the. Year ago due to child memories of my grandpa sitting me.on his knee smoking his pipe he always had his pipe going always I smoked cigs when going to pipe so at first it was so hard I was burni g my tounge alot and just thought it was stupid then saw videos on how to do it right and what its all about I still.inhale to I enjoy the nic buzz I only inhale so often and only to back of throat

I was a fan of Lane 1Q for a while but Boswell has some fantastic aromatics that smoke cool with no tongue bite

Cool channel brother, I've subscribed 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! Cheers!
You should get a calabash pipe and smoke it in a tobacco review. Ebay sells great calabash pipes.
Why a calabash?
@@jallen9343 The number one reason is because, it makes guys look like sherlock and they all need one of them in their pipe collection.
😂 noted!
