But when I bought at chanel boutique 21B black price is $7800 and it is came chip, no more certification card any more from year 2021. I am wondering where you bought your bag, and it is 2021 why it is still used card certification . Also the price is cheaper than chanel boutique. $7800 compare as your $6500. And 21 B is collection before 21C. 21C is after December the price $7800 after that increase as $8200. So I wondering where you bought ? And why it is cheaper?
Hi AD! Great question. So the cruise collections are the first ones of the new year's seasons but they launch in November of the prior year. So although this was 21C, this collection launched in Nov 2020. My SA finally located this one for me and I purchased on NYE 2020 at the Chanel boutique in Neiman Marcus. The price of classic flaps went up on January 15, 2021 (went from 6500 to 6800 USD) and then a significant increase on July 1, 2021 ( went from 6800 to 7800 USD). You know Chanel loves to increase prices immediately before a new launch, especially a popular one....smh but I did get very lucky on this one. 21B is the Fall Winter Act 1 collection and it usually launches around 1st or 2nd week in July. So your 21B bag saw 2 increases after I bought mine. Unfortunately for me, too, my SA didn't source my new 21A bag until after the July 1 increase so I paid a higher price for that one, along with you but it was a mini so much easier to handle the price. The chips (instead of the card certs) rolled out with the 21A (or PreFall collection/Metiers d'art) for the hand bags. So, 21C, 21P, and 21S all had the old card certificates but starting in 21A, all the bags would have the new chip. I hope this was helpful! Thanks for the comment and great question!
