I personally love my Boy bag and have no plans to part with it...I certainly don't agree with those suggesting that it's "out of style" or "on the way out." Although I admire the aesthetics of the 19, I don't plan on adding one (or another Boy) to my collection unless a special color/metal combination strikes my fancy. If I do purchase another bag, it probably would be a classic flap but I'd have to give it careful consideration simply because of the finances involved.

The 19 just looks crisp and fresher. I think the Boy bags look dated now. Karl designed all of these, he was always moving with the times. The 19 slouchy looks absolutely modern and crisp.
It was recently asked if the jumbo was “dead” because the small and medium classic flap have skyrocketed in popularity. These discussions are silly. They will have to pry my Boy out of my cold, dead hands.
Agreed! I think people are sheep sometimes… if you love it, someone ‘telling’ you it’s dead should mean nothing to you! And by that logic we shouldn’t be buying vintage… 😅 they’re dead right 😂
I can’t stomach the Chanel 19 sorry! It’s just such an ugly bag to me imo. I’ve never been able to get into that bag. However, the boy bag is absolutely stunning especially in chevron. It’s such an edgy badass girl bag! I don’t think Chanel will ever make another hot girl bag like that. Now in terms of functionality, it does seem as though the Chanel 19 would be much easier to use because of its silhouette but I just can’t get past its look. Im team boy bag all the way. 😊
