I’m really digging your videos! Love the tone and can’t wait to see the full rig! Would love to see a video of you playing, I need to steel a few chops from you! 🤣
I've been playing for over 45+ years, I concur about the Kingtone!! Especially if your just using pedal dirt into a Fender-ish clean amp, Nothing beats it.
Nice demo! I just ordered one - love Jesse Davey - don’t think anyone got as close to the SRV sound as him - I installed the King Tone switch in my Strat as well - and recently got the Rise V2 - curious to see how this pedal stacks up to other ODs and Boosts I have
Right on brother Josh! I surely appreciate the kind words. I totally agree when it comes tone that’s bigger than Texas, there’s no better than Jesse! I’ve been a fan of his for over 20 years and judging by the videos I’ve heard of him, especially in his early days when he was running 3 to 4 amps at a time, I think even Stevie’s tone couldn’t keep up with that. No disrespect to Stevie of course because he’s all of our hero. He changed all of our lives🌅🙏🫡 I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised with this one. Let me know what you think. When you get it, feel free to post a demo. Would love to hear it as well. God bless you my friend.
@@Zach-Rosicka Amazing demo and playing! Thanks for this info; I also liked the tone in the last bit better when you had all the dip switches off. I have the Blues Power v.1, and the last bit of your video it is exactly how I use it (and I get the same tones). I think the new version is even more versatile (the added Kingtone and Cranked Amp dip switches are cool), but I am quite content with my old one and won't upgrade.
@hjalmarconte4926 yes sir! Very cool, it’s the same circuit and definitely added options. Yet, if I had the V1 still, I wouldn’t upgrade as I only used it like we both do. Flat and bad ass🤙
Oh no, I will try and find the version 1 set how I use this V2, running through a 50 watt Blankenship Variplex set clean. It’s quite amazing! Subscribe if you can and hit the bell so you will see when I upload it. I’m going to spend some time to find it from years back and upload it just for you, Brother Joe🙌🤙✅
Well thank you! It is a prototype preamp I hope to release in the near future. Running it into a solid state power amp then to speaker cab with a room mic
It’s a preamp into a poweramp, no tubes. I’m in the process of developing the final preamp to bring to market. So, I can’t release the info yet, but it will be released on this channel hopefully before the end of the year and my hopes is to have it under $500! Thanks for commenting and yes, the dip switches act as full on completely differentiating the tone drastically! It’s awesome and one of the coolest overdrives I’ve ever played. Jesse is the best at being creative as a builder and player
Glad you dig the sound! I loved the aesthetics and completely new design by Jesse. But I know we all have different tastes. I hope you play one my friend🫡🙏🤙
Hey I have not but had the Soloist and I can say they sound nothing alike. Nor would either side do the Duellist. The Blues Power is a whole different tone and vibe. I hope you give it a go, it would blow either side of the Duellist away, if anyone is asking.
@SteveHubbardGuitar I don’t think so at all, the Jan Ray is supposed to be a Timmy and this circuit doesn’t sound anything like a Jan Ray. It’s grainier yet has the clarity. Maybe someone can reach out to Jesse and ask the man himself. I am going to have to snag a Timmy to see why so many say the JR and now this is a Timmy. Thanks for the comment and I look forward to comparing them some time soon
@@SteveHubbardGuitar I'm not saying it isn't a very good pedal--it sounds great--but at heart it's a Timmy, and even some of the changes are insignificant/cosmetic.

Love from Berlin man! Just ordered v2 after having v1 for Some gold time

Haha love it!!! Thanks brother! Are you speaking on the Blues Power or my custom preamp?
How does it do into a clean amp at low volume for home jamming? Does it only shine into a really cranked amp?

Buy a Tone King attenuator
What’s up? Not sure I understand
The amp sounds great by itself , what amp is that ?

Yup. It's a Timmy. 😂
lol, far from it to me. But, now everything is a Timmy according to the internet. Yet, they are all selling out… Hmmm 🤔
@@Zach-Rosicka Isn't it legitimately a Timmy circuit with extra features? Fwiw, I have the original Blues Power and love it.
