Thanks Kez Will you be removing the tenons as well. Lots of questions and answered in this video. Oh well never get tired of watching you and hearing your hilarious commentary. 2 in a week, bring it on.
Thank you, Doug; this is a quick and easy method for processing a large quantity of pieces. Most of the cutting is done during the roughing out phase, and as you've seen, only a couple of passes are needed to finish the piece. I only require one turning tool for this project.👌 Cheers, mate. Kezza
Morning Kezza - I finally had a weekend of turning in the Garage, and i had so many questions this morning about tool positioning - you just about answered them all. I need to re-sharpen and try again. Im really trying to not use the carbide tipped tools......
If you remove the option to use non-traditional tools, you won't use them. I started out using only traditional tools so that I could practice with them more and more. It's challenging, but by choosing traditional tools, you've already distinguished yourself. Well done for that mate. 🤝 Kezza

I like making diddy bowls like that, actually way more useful generally than big bowls and pretty quick. I didn't think you did little stuff.
I have been commissioned to make 700 of these bowls. It's been keeping me busy😎 th-cam.com/video/OEiRorCMDXs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WkMADPycAnY1Yy4x

You stressed importance of not changing finger location on the wax applicator cloth. Why?
It changes the pressure on the cloth, causing lines. In my experience, keeping your fingers in the same spot on the cloth keeps a uniform, streak-free finish.
