    When foam rolling the latissimus dorsi muscle, start at the middle of the outside ribcage. With your shoulder directly above the foam roller, start with your palm facing the floor and drag your hand along the floor and switching your hand to face the ceiling. This help start the latissimus dorsi in its shortest position than lengthen it to its longest position.

    I always feel like I’m crushing my shoulder blade. Am I doing it wrong? Hardest foam roll for me to do. I never seem to get it right.

      You might be rotating too far backwards. Once you are on your side, you can rotate your chest towards the ground or backwards to the shoulder blade. Some people feel the compression from the roller blade in different spots. Hopefully this helps. Let us know if not and we can try to give you more help!
