As a teacher I made it clear to my partner and in-laws about me wanting to focus on my career and work for a few years before being the stay at home housewife and mom
I have so much respect and love for all stay at home housewives and mums - they deserve more appreciation 100% but I don’t feel ready to go into that type of lifestyle yet
I would say to the girls communicate and make it clear from the beginning your intentions about your career and work

FACTS!!!! great podcast. And I 💯 agree that women need to have a backup plan if shit hits the fans. Some also feel guilty for putting their kids in daycares while they pursue their side hustle.

I see your points when it comes to the roles and I do agree with alot of them. However, I believe that you ladies might be letting your bias of personal experience cloud your judgement of all men. Men fight battles that no one even talks about.
That’s very true! There are a lot of things men go through in silence, and a lot of men who do the most. Credit needs to be given to them too no doubt
@@OKMomPodcastand men are not very communicative because they have been ingrained to turn off their emotions since it’s not “manly” enough. They go through their own set of gender expectations and norms that may not be fair for them
