funny you should say A24 lol. The creator, Kane Pixels is making a film with A24 (and Atomic monster maybe?) about Kane's backrooms youtube series. A24 also thinks that Kane has the A24 feel.
Thank you! I wanted to show my family this for our movie night and didn't want to record the whole thing and put it together and all that charade. Again, thank you for saving me all the work, LOL.
Thanks for combining them man, and mindfully giving credit to Kane. I agree that the act of switching videos disrupts the immersion of the movie. Because its a movie - its art - it needs to be appreciated in its entirety. The effort put into every factor - visuals, acting, sound design, story, pacing, framing. This shit deserves real awards and wide recognition because its quite frankly the best horror media Ive seen in the past decade
Right on for putting them all together. I was trying to find a good video without having to watch multiple, n yours is just perfect. I'm only about 10 min in so far but this is already trippin me tf out. I see the stairs, like I can see them, im watchin this shit, n yet, ain't no fuckin way those are real. I dunno wtf is goin on there but goddamn is it cool. I am HOOKED lol Edit: it IS fuckin real! Or was. Valley View shopping center in Texas. Wtf. Everything about the location, wtf. Lol Weird. No but forreal I googled the location too and it was definitely above ground when it was built in the 70s. It had sky lights! This man descended down to hell, and it’s just….. there?!!! Not to mention the redrum room with splatter and a runoff drainage he passed through after the wooden door. I’m so lost, then I read it was demolished in ‘19 to make room for high rise towers. Did they somehow sink the entire fckn mall or what? Somebody let me know bc this is going to live in my mind rent free for awhile. More importantly - why are there jail bars, corroded and pried open???? Jesus!!
@briteeni7541 "rent free" no shi, tright? Had me too. So apparently, this IS INDEED all cgi. So the mall WAS a real place but demolished before he posted this. So I'm guessing he used old footage, and he recreated the mall in blender or something. Shit is wild. Edit: and the stairs are all 100% cgi as well as the mall. Fuckin crazy good job.
The sound of faint static and air passing through mice and cameras always relaxes me soo much for no reason, and the faint sound of footsteps and the atmosphere could just put me to sleep vro
