The funeral for the Queen was so incredible. The precision and perfection by the pall bearers, navy , Queens guards and all of the Armed forces was incredible. It would have made the Queen smile. I found it so sad when the crown and sceptre were taken from the casket and when it was lowered into the vault .The Queens piper playing as he walked away was very emotional. Now Charles can grieve privately as will his siblings and those who truly loved and cared about the Queen.
Truly showed the respect she deserved. 😢🙏‼️

Yes, WDE, when I saw the crown and sceptre being removed from the casket, I had a feeling similar to yours. It is the end of gracious queen's reign. The sound of the bagpipe makes my heart trob, very sombre, sad and sorrowful. Rest peacefully gracious Queen.

the lone Scots piper played her favourite pipe music until the coffin was gone, it was so beautiful.❤ Pipe music is so emotive and stirring.😢

I cried soon as Woody.EXE started playing one as he walked out my bedroom. That’s when I got to feel Woody.EXE’s knife for the first time and god it was painful. I’ll be giving him a much better one soon as he’s crowned monarch of Wales and I will become his Queen on my 21st birthday
No matter our personal, spiritual or religious beliefs regarding the afterlife. Watching the lowering of a loved one's coffin always signifies the finality to their mortal life as we knew them. This was evident on the King's face. May the Queen shine on her way.

I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford from January 1978 to January 1980. Off duty went to London many times also Liverpool, Bicester and Stratford upon Avon. Loved Britain and seeing the queen on the tele. She was very dignified and a gracious woman.
Whatever others say about King Charles III, but I feel that he is a man of great sensitivity and love, I feel that he is a fair and loving being and loves his family. I wish I had the opportunity to be by his side and talk with him and accompany him during these hard days of his life. give him a helping hand. Long live King Charles III and take the measures you have to take for the good of your nation and your convictions.

I had the honour of meeting King Charles III before the funeral and I was so happy when Charles waved at me back as I curtsied to him for the first time
He is a good, kind man, who has helped tens of thousands of young people get a better start to life than they would have expected. He is unfairly judged by narrow minded people because of the failure of his first marriage.
What is really moving is the thought that we can never see her lovely gracious smile again and just a footnote this magnificant order of service and the sheer grace of the organisation of this state funeral so very British a day for all citizens to be so proud.

In his sermon, the archbishop said *People of loving service are rare in any walk of life. Leaders of loving service are still rarer. But in all cases those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are long forgotten* That is an apt statement, I doubt that world leaders will be eager to attend Putin or PRC Xi's funeral.

The moment the coffin was lowered is the most sorrowful time for King Charles because it's the last and final time before he's separated with his mother forever (no return).
It reminds me when my own mother passed away. Death sorrow is an emotional of its own nature.

I remember crying as Woody finally hugs Mummy during the burial as me and Woody.EXE stood there with tears in both of our eyes. Woody.EXE was still holding his knife 24/7 but for the day he lowered it in respect of the Queen

I'm not a subject yet I was moved to tears several times. I grew up with her as head of the UK. I doubt seriously that a reign that long will ever be realized again.

I would have burst out crying
I remember crying in the heavy rain when Elizabeth died and my mother tried to get me back in the house but refused. After an hour, I was absolutely soaking and decided to come in the house again
I remember coming home from school when I found out. Never knew that I would come home with such a frown on my face. And I had just started school around that time.

I can’t imagine how hard this was for William and Kate’s children. Not only did they lose their Great Grandmother who they had a close relationship with but they had to watch their PawPaw obviously in private pain and they love him too.

That is the wand of office done by the lord chamberlain. It is symbolically broken that marks the end of the reign. You commonly don’t see it that much, but it made me very sad when I had to see it for the first time 😢
why did they cut away from the coffin being lowered? Is it disrespectful seeing the coffin going all the way down in a single shot?
It's a very emotional moment, especially for the family. They hadn't had much opportunity for their own grief. It's like the moment at a crematorium, when either the curtains close or the coffin slides away. It's very upsetting.
