After making a few hand breaks myself my only criticism would be when you pull your hand break, it's simply off or on, you want that pull, I personally would have attached it to the thing stick so you are able to apply pressure...once again not just on or off. Beautiful build regardless dude.
Since the xbox controllers turn off by itself when you leave it on idle, you could use one of the actuators to press on the xbox button so you wont have to move your chair each time you want to turn on your controller.
Well, if I would spent money on the hidraulic handbrake anyway I would prefer to buy directly a usb one, there are planty already set with usb and so on at banggood

If I were to do this, a much easier way is to map it directly to one of the buttons in the wheel. Same with the NOS, instead of going through that struggle, try and open your wheel and solder your connections from the switch to one of the buttons on the wheel. That way it works on consoles and pc. you can obviously also configure button mapping settings for your wheel in game so that shouldn't be an issue.

I love your brake! May I suggest...try guitar whammy bar or bass drum pedal springs? They are quiet and built to move under pressure. Just a thought.
Or maybe heat shrink over the springs, or maybe aquarium silicone tubing slid over them with a small amount of oil? I like the way this is going!

I ordered everything on Amazon. Except for a power supply I used an old PC power supply.
I got a way cheaper hand break 🤷i thought of a bike break and the arms this video gave me the thoughts on this cheap hand break 😎thought i would share

When I last checked when I was using my wheel and I clicked a button on my controller it only let me use one at a time

Look for universal car central lock system/actuators (set of 2 or 4), and some buttons (hinge lever switch and LED button)
