I saw a video once (was looking for it when I found this one) and the guy used a single brake pedal replacement part for a pedal kit and used the internals of that to make himself a diy hydro
Little tip is your ok with doing it, the gap between your monitors can be sorted by slight sanding using a Dremel so the are at a 45 degree angle then your monitors will all come together nicely, and the to stop any gaps at all get some black tape really thin so its impossible to see and that will take all the gaps away. i was a little scared to do it but now i couldn't go back and if you're careful and take your time it is almost impossible to notice that they have been sanded down to an angle. I am referring to the chin along the bottom of the screen just sand them to a 45 degree angle on both edges of the middle screen and the two edges on the other 2 monitors where they touch the edge of the centre screen.
@@schavinkhaled3029 just go to the settings of your game and set the joystick(in my case wingman extreme) as your handbrake like you would with a lets say pedal. Your Joystick just has to work with the game.

I know you might not see this comment, but you can run the cables under the desk instead of the cables being on the desk. Idk if it makes sense but it definitly makes the setup cleaner
I'm sure he knows that. He probably just removes his setup after a session, but for this video he just quickly put everything back on the desk for demonstration without taking the time to tighten everything.

It won't, consoles block out any devices that don't meet the requirements of an approved controller. Most diy racing stuff like this can only really be used on pc.
No, only pc as it's the only platform that can support 3rd party drivers in this way. Theirs ways to do it for ps4 but they all require hardware modifications to whatever your using to drive and it's really not worth it.
@@joelou it depends on how the accessory port can be configured in software, if it's looking for a specific device to run drivers off of its pretty much a no-go, but if it accepts just random button inputs and you can configure it specifically to the brakes trigger it should work fine as long as it doesn't have some weird issue with microcontroller input.

This is highly pointless to say sense im 2 years late XD but just wanted to mention this, i had a realization that you cluld probably use a sapre mouse as a the button, that way you dont have to mess with soldering a switch, you just map the right click to the handbrake ann then all have to do is get/make a housing for it with a handle
